Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Power Limit — Pseudo Super Saiyan

"M-Monster!"

On Pagan's spaceship, the remaining operators stared in terror as the battle power detector built into the ship displayed continuously rising numbers.

Unlike the portable scouters used by the soldiers, this was a larger, bulkier model, but with far higher accuracy and a maximum reading of 1.1 million—the highest battle power any known device could measure since the invention of scouters.

At this moment, as Linx's body underwent transformation, the detector's numbers spiked without slowing:

700,000…

800,000…

900,000…

1,000,000…

BOOM!

Suddenly, the ship shook as another explosion erupted.

A half-dead crew member barely managed to send a signal through the ship's external communicator:

"L-Lord Pagan… h-his battle power… it's over… 1.1 million…"

"1.1 million?!"

Not only Pagan—but every alien outside froze in utter disbelief.

Over a million?!Other than the Frost Demon race… someone else can reach such a terrifying level?!

Suddenly—

"HAAAHHH!"

"RAAAHHH!"

A burst of shouting snapped them out of their daze.

They turned to see Lynx's entire aura had turned golden, and his hair was now upright and glowing purplish-black.

Huff…

Lynx let out a long breath.

He could feel it—he had hit his limit.

Though not a true Super Saiyan yet, he had stepped into the realm of the Pseudo Super Saiyan.

This form wasn't a full transformation, but its power closely rivaled that of a Super Saiyan.

"System, what's my current battle power?" Lynx asked inwardly.

"Current power level: 3.9 million."

Huh? Lynx blinked.

According to canon, Super Saiyan should boost power by 50x.

Even as a pseudo form, he expected at least a 10x multiplier. So why was he only seeing barely 7x?

"System, did you make a mistake?"

"System calculations are precise and accurate."

Tch…Lynx set aside his doubts—for now wasn't the time to dig deeper.

At that moment, the space pirates had already begun panicking and trying to flee.

"He's too strong!"

"Run! That guy isn't a Saiyan—he's a demon!"

"It has to be him—the one who injured Lord Frieza! We actually ran into him?!"

Amid the chaos, a loud voice barked above the rest:

"Shut up, all of you useless cowards!"

A massive figure flew out from the crowd—it was Pagan.

Furious, he shouted at his men:

"What's there to panic about?! Think about it! A Saiyan—how could he possibly have a power level over a million?!"

"It has to be a faulty reading. He's just a filthy monkey—"

Before he could finish that sentence, Pagan's eyes widened.

He looked down—and saw a hand piercing straight through his abdomen.

A voice whispered coldly in his ear:

"Faulty reading? You can feel for yourself now."

BOOM!

With a flash of energy from Lynx's hand, Pagan exploded into nothingness.

When the smoke cleared, Pagan was gone.

This pirate leader with a battle power of 170,000—once feared across countless star systems—hadn't lasted even a single blow.

"Run! RUN!!"

"Lord Pagan was wrong—he really does have over a million battle power!"

"Super Saiyan… He must be the legendary Super Saiyan!!"

Overwhelmed by fear, no one dared to fight anymore.

The remaining pirates fled in a frenzy toward their spaceship.

The ship, still smoking from earlier damage, began to turn around—its engines flaring to escape.

"Not so fast."

Lynx concentrated all his energy into a single point—his golden aura flaring with a deafening roar.

Suddenly—a golden beam of energy surged from his body like a comet.

The light shot across the sky, engulfing the fleeing pirates in an instant.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The sky turned into a blazing sea of gold.

The pirates didn't even have time to scream—they were completely vaporized.

Once he confirmed there were no survivors, Linx smiled and returned to normal.

With a flash, he used Instant Transmission to reappear beside Broly.

"Brother Lynx!" Broly cried out and leapt into his arms.

Lynx laughed and ruffled his hair. Then he turned to Nail and grinned.

"That just now… should count as fulfilling part of my promise, right?Be sure to vouch for me when we see the Grand Elder later."

Nail nodded silently, but inside he was deeply shaken.

Years ago, Linx had made a deal with the Grand Elder:In exchange for receiving a potential unlock and three wishes from the Dragon Balls, he promised to protect Namek three times.

Back then, Nail had thought he was bluffing.

Even with the Elder's help, how powerful could he really become?

But now, five years later… Linx had reached a level beyond imagination.

Among those space pirates just now, a few had power levels far exceeding Nail's own.

Had Lynx not intervened, Namek would have faced certain doom.

But this Saiyan had wiped them out with ease.

The Grand Elder was right…This Saiyan truly is Namek's savior.

With Instant Transmission, the three of them quickly reached the Grand Elder's residence.

There, a few Namekian elders had just finished begging the Grand Elder for help after hearing the pirates' threat broadcast.

As Lynx's group appeared, the elders fell silent.

"There is no danger anymore."

The old, frail Grand Elder spoke:

"The pirates have already been dealt with—by the Saiyan, Lynx. You may return to your villages and reassure the others."

The elders looked at Lynx, speechless.

Finally, one of them said:

"L-Lynx… you've awakened."

They remembered him well. He had spent a year traveling through every village on Namek during his training.

"Yes. Just as the Grand Elder said, the pirates have been taken care of.Rest easy, elders—you can go home now," Lynx smiled.

The elders exchanged glances, then nodded and left—entrusting everything to the wise Grand Elder.
