Chapter 13 - Chapter 13 – The Forgotten fire

The Hollow Nexus was quiet.

Too quiet.

Minwoo stood before the glowing shard torn from the Sovereign Forge—a fractured crystal etched with sigils that no language had dared speak for eons. It pulsed with raw divinity, but something inside it wasn't Sovereign-made.

It was older.

Varya examined it, her cosmic helmet dimmed.

"This... shouldn't exist," she said. "This isn't Sovereign tech. It's Primordial. A fragment of something they couldn't control—so they hid it inside their greatest weapon."

Minwoo stepped forward.

The shard reached toward him.

Suddenly—visions.

He stood in a temple lost to the void, pillars of flame and wind holding up a sky of broken time. At its center, a being slept beneath crystal chains—massive, winged, and crowned with light that bent around it like gravity.

The last of the Starborn Titans—ruler who had defied the Sovereigns in the First Cycle.

"You carry the Riftblade. But you were never just a weapon.""You are a vessel."

The voice shook the ground.

"Take the flame. Become more."

🔥 Minwoo's Ascension

Minwoo's eyes snapped open.

Flames danced around him—not fire, but something truer. His body trembled as the crystal shard disintegrated into light, flowing into his core.

Kinro reared back, letting out a roar—not of alarm, but recognition.

The Sovereigns Respond

Far across the cosmos, the Sovereigns stirred. One—Xereth the Chrono-Architect—cast his gaze across time, shattering mirrors in rage.

"He touched the Godfire. The prophecy is alive."

Another, wrapped in black entropy, hissed.

"Then send the Chained Seraph. It's time he met his extinction."

Oblivion's Edge Prepares

The Hollow Nexus buzzed with tension.

Varya summoned the guild's leaders: Selene, Kael, Ruin, and the newest recruits—Tarn, the Void-Archer, and Yassa, the Starchant Monk.

"A Seraph is coming," Varya said. "They only send those when they're desperate. Or afraid."

Minwoo stood at the center, fire dancing across his fingers, Kinro curled behind him like a breathing mountain.

"They're right to be afraid," he said. "We're not just a guild anymore."

He turned toward the inner sanctum.

"We're a movement."
