"Here they come. On such a shabby planet, there are still humans with more than a hundred combat capabilities," Nappa glanced at the figures approaching in the distant sky.
"Humph! Their strength is just mediocre. Compared to us Saiyans, they're nothing but trash," Raditz scoffed. After recovering from his mysterious training incident, his power had grown significantly, and he didn't take the human natives with combat power over 100 seriously at all.
"Kakarot should be several thousand strong now after training on King Kai's planet. It shouldn't be a big problem for him to deal with these two idiots," Karnel thought to himself, leaning back comfortably in his chair under the massive oak tree.
Goku, Piccolo, Tien, and the others quickly landed in the open clearing about a hundred meters away, studying these two aliens who looked remarkably similar to earthlings.
"Goku, look at their tails! They're just like yours used to be!" Krillin discovered the appendages behind Raditz and Nappa, exclaiming in surprise.
Goku hesitated for a moment. "They should be my people, the Saiyans. Karnel mentioned that other Saiyans aren't exactly... good news."
Raditz looked at his biological brother with obvious displeasure. "Kakarot! What are you doing? It's been so long, and you haven't wiped out the humans on this planet?"
"Raditz, forget about the native humans on this planet, just take Kakarot back," Nappa interjected, remembering Vegeta's orders. "Now, apart from the three of us and that mysterious Saiyan, Kakarot is the only Saiyan left. We need him for breeding!"
After a heated exchange, Goku learned that the man before him was actually his brother Raditz, someone he'd never heard of, and that they wanted him to return with them. Having grown up on Earth, Goku was absolutely unwilling to abandon his home.
"Son Goku, step aside. I, Piccolo, will handle these two enemies," the Namekian declared confidently. After so much solitary training, his strength had increased several-fold. He stepped forward, pulling Goku back with a cold sneer.
Raditz studied the green-skinned warrior, recognition dawning on his features. "What? When did a Namekian appear on this garbage planet?" he asked disdainfully.
"Why are you all just standing there talking? I'm getting impatient here," Karnel called out, growing bored with the prolonged dialogue. In a flash, he appeared before the group. "Hey! Are you guys going to fight or not? What's taking so long?"
"Ah! You're here too!" Everyone was still processing the shocking revelations from Raditz when Goku spotted Karnel and shouted excitedly.
Karnel waved dismissively. "It was boring staying home, so I came out to see the action. These two are Saiyans, and one of them is your brother. Are you really going back with them to contribute to the Saiyan cause?" he asked with obvious amusement.
"I'm not going back," Goku shook his head firmly. "They have cruel faces, you can tell they've done terrible things. I can't bear to leave everyone on Earth."
Krillin, Yamcha, and Tien also approached to greet Karnel, completely ignoring the two Saiyan invaders.
Piccolo stood frozen, muttering to himself, "I'm actually a Namekian from outer space? No wonder I look different from ordinary people..."
Though Piccolo was the incarnation of Kami's evil thoughts, the old guardian had never shared this truth with him, leaving Piccolo in the dark all this time.
"This Piccolo has excellent potential," Karnel mused, observing the stunned Namekian. "His talent might even surpass Nail's. It won't be long before he exceeds his current limits."
Raditz was shocked to encounter this mysterious Saiyan again. How did he keep running into him everywhere?
Nappa's face showed clear traces of fear, he was obviously still traumatized by the Saiyan who had broken his leg with a single move during their previous encounter.
After catching up briefly with Krillin and the others, it had been some time since the celebration, Karnel stepped aside, clearly positioning himself as a spectator.
"Don't mind me, I'm just here to watch the show!" After relocating his makeshift viewing setup from the shadows, Karnel settled back into his chair and addressed the combatants with amusement.
"Do you think this is some kind of tournament?" Goku shouted at the casually seated observer, then turned back to face his brother with renewed determination. "I will not go back with you, you'd better leave Earth!"
"That's not up to you!" Raditz smiled cruelly and stepped forward. His aura surged rapidly, the powerful energy creating winds that lifted small rocks several meters into the air and scattered debris everywhere.
"Krillin, all of you come over here," Karnel called to the group, who were clearly frightened by the display of power and unsure how to proceed. "They're very strong, you can't get involved with them at your current level."
"I guess Piccolo can only play a supporting role, since Raditz's combat power is well over 1,000 now," Karnel observed, watching the Namekian who was obviously scared but still brimming with fighting spirit.
Piccolo was indeed intimidated. The strength of these two Saiyans was terrifying, far surpassing his own by several levels. But seeing Goku's unwavering determination to fight, Piccolo gritted his teeth and steeled his resolve. "If Son Goku isn't afraid of you, then neither am I!"
"Piccolo, can you handle this? They're incredibly strong," Goku asked, noting his ally's determination to take the initiative.
"Hmph! That's none of your business! I'm going first!" Piccolo shouted angrily, throwing off his weighted training clothes and launching himself into the air.
Raditz didn't take the eager Namekian seriously at all. "Although Namekians have mysterious abilities, their raw strength isn't necessarily that impressive."
