Silence.
Then… a heartbeat.
Aria slowly opened her eyes.
She felt neither cold nor warmth. Only an infinite calm.
Around her, a strange world, bathed in mist and soft light.
Flowers floated in the air, stars slept on the ground, and a river sang an ancient whisper.
She stood up slowly, in silence.
And in the distance, she saw him.
A man. Tall. Draped in a black cloak with silver glimmers.
His dark hair floated gently. His gaze was deep, yet clear.
And his face… it was him.
— Wilfred…? she whispered, her throat tight.
The man approached, a tender smile on his lips.
— You followed me, Aria. Even after the end.
— Is this a dream? Am I… dead?
He nodded softly.
— You died… in your world. But here… you are born anew.
She stepped back, troubled.
— Why me?
— Because the shadow never scared you.
Because your love never tried to change what I was… but accepted me.
And in this realm, true love is a door few can cross.
He reached out his hand to her.
— Will you walk by my side? Here, there is no curse, no fear. Only… the eternity we lost.
Tears ran down Aria's cheeks.
She placed her hand in his.
— Yes… I am ready.
And in this kingdom beyond life, the Symphony of the Void ceased to be a song of death.
It became a song of rediscovered eternity.
