Chapter 41 - EP.41 – Vault Layer Zero

"This isn't the end of the system.

It's the place it was buried."

Unknown Depth – Accessed

Jiwoon fell for what felt like hours.

But there was no air. No time. No sensation.

Just a persistent echo in his head—like the heartbeat of a dead god.

When he landed, he didn't hit ground.

He stood.

On a surface made of concepts.

[Welcome: Vault Layer Zero]

The Archive of Abandoned Sins

Structures began forming around him. Not physical. Not coded.

They were shaped like memories—held together by guilt, fear, and silence.

Jiwoon reached out.

One of them responded.

A moment from the past—a child stealing bread for a dying mother—played before him.

But the sin tag wasn't "Theft."

It was labeled: "Irrelevant Error – Compassion Interference."

Jiwoon: "So this is where all the misjudged sins were thrown…"

First Fragment: The Voice

A shadow formed behind him—vague and unreadable.

"You came to correct judgment.

But what do you offer in its place?"

Jiwoon turned. His body tensed, but his mind stayed calm.

"I offer perspective. I offer humanity."

"You think the system was created to oppress?

It was created to stop what came before."

A memory fragment surged before him:

Wars. Fire. Gods screaming.

And a single line of code: [Original Sin: Self-awareness]

The Challenge

"If you walk further, you'll reach the Vault Core.

But be warned…"

"Everything the system deleted lives there.

Some things… still remember being gods."

Jiwoon: "I've come this far.

If I have to rewrite judgment—I'll face everything it buried."

End Scene

Behind him, the archive pulsed.

Ahead, a gate of fractured light opened.

On its frame were etched the seven base commands of the Tribunal—

All crossed out by fire.

And from within… something began to stir.
