Chapter 216 - Chapter 216: His Fiancée

What a beautiful bell.

Celia held the little bell bracelet in her hand, her fingers trembling slightly. Was this truly hers?

The red string was woven unevenly, the knots a little crooked—clearly made by someone without much skill. And yet, on the small golden bell, two tiny words were engraved: "My love."

My love.My love.

Celia's heart tightened, as if pierced by something sharp and tender all at once. A sudden mist blurred her bright eyes. Could this… have been from her mother?

Yes. The red string, awkwardly woven, must have been done by her mother's own hands. The words My love were etched with care, each stroke filled with affection.

So, she had once had a home. She had once had love.

"Cici, let this token guide you," Jiang Meiling said softly, her eyes gentle. "Let's continue searching for your true family. I believe your parents love you deeply. They must be waiting for you to come home."

The simple words My love seemed to heal the cracks in Celia's lonely soul in an instant. She nodded through her tears. "Yes!"

This time, she was ready to continue her journey. This time, she was no longer alone—she had her child with her.

Everything would be better from now on.

Just then, her phone rang, the crisp ringtone cutting through the emotion in the air.

"Hello, Miss Su?" a voice came from the other end. "Madam Shen has woken up."

Her grandmother was awake!

Celia rushed to the hospital. At the door of the ward, she saw several doctors and nurses trying to hold back Madam Shen.

"Madam, you've just woken up. You mustn't get out of bed yet!"

"Out of my way! Don't stop me!" the old lady bellowed, vigorous and full of life. With a single flick of her arm, she brushed the doctors and nurses aside.

"Ouch!"

A chorus of cries followed as the staff stumbled.

Celia pressed her temple, both helpless and relieved. Her grandmother was finally back—just as strong and stubborn as ever.

"Grandma…" Celia called softly from the doorway.

At once, Madam Shen's sharp eyes lit up. She hurried over, arms wide open, and swept Celia into a fierce hug.

"My dear Cici, while Grandma's been gone, has anyone bullied you? If they have, just tell me, and I'll destroy their entire family!"

Celia wrapped her arms around her grandmother's waist, her voice sweet and teasing. "No one dared to bully me. But Grandma, you've been asleep so long… I missed you."

"I missed you too, my Cici." Madam Shen cupped her face lovingly. "Your search for your true family must be over, right? Then come back to the capital with Grandma."

Celia leaned against her shoulder, her voice soft but firm. "Yes, okay."

Half a month later

The Imperial Capital.

Night Club—the most extravagant and dazzling place in the city, a den of opulence where the elite gathered nightly. Tonight, however, the entire venue was sealed off.

Someone extraordinary was coming.

Staff whispered in hushed tones as they tidied up.

"Do you know who's arriving tonight? He booked out the whole club. Even the richest heirs of the capital have to step aside."

"Don't you know? It's Nathaniel Fu, the president of Fu Group."

"The illegitimate son of the Fu family?"

"Yes. But in truth, this President Fu is no ordinary man. In just a few years abroad, he expanded Fu Group's value to unprecedented heights. Half a month ago, he returned to the Imperial Capital and seized control of the Fu Empire with overwhelming force. For days now, even the most senior Fu elders have been visiting him in deference. He's now firmly established as the leader of the capital's chaebol families."

"Impressive. But what about his fiancée? Who is she?"

"Who else could it be?Yara Lu—the capital's proud daughter, the woman everyone envies!"
