With a crisp ding, a deep blue suit of armor suddenly materialized before Onime. The Ice Emperor Armor shimmered like crystal, its sharp angles radiating a mesmerizing glow as faint streams of light danced across its surface.
In less than a second, Onime had donned the armor. A peculiar rhythm began emanating from her, the surrounding cold air converging around her like a vortex.
"Hahaha! Shadow Shikamaru! Today, you'll accompany Nutou to the grave!" Onime cackled madly. Her eyes turned icy as her hands flew into a rapid series of seals.
"Ice Release: Multi-Layered Ice Prison!"
Before Shikamaru could react, an ice prison had already encased him. But it didn't stop there, layer upon layer of ice prisons formed, each reinforcing the one before it.
Boom! Boom! Crash!
Nine layers. A total of nine ice prisons sealed Shikamaru within. Onime stood smugly, as if the effort was trivial.
"Shadow Ninjutsu: Shadow Chidori, Super!"
Chirp! Chirp!
The piercing cries of countless birds echoed.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Inside the ice prison, intense black light flared, followed by deafening explosions. Shikamaru's devastating attack shattered the layers of ice, one by one. His figure emerged amidst the chaos, shadowy wings propelling him into the air.
"Impressive! No wonder they call you Shadow. Even an S-Rank binding jutsu is useless against you!" Onime sneered, unfazed as she watched Shikamaru's escape.
With a soft hiss, the Ice Emperor Armor on Onime's body released a pair of dark blue crystalline wings. She soared into the sky, facing Shikamaru head-on.
Shikamaru frowned as he studied Onime. "So, this is what you're relying on to challenge me?"
"Exactly! This is the Snow Ninja Village's masterpiece, the ultimate armor! As long as I'm in the Land of Snow, I can continuously absorb ice energy!" Onime boasted. Her voice turned cold. "Prepare yourself for defeat. Here, my chakra is limitless. No one can oppose me."
Without waiting for a response, she formed more seals.
"Ice Release: Ice Dragon Banquet!"
Roar! Roar!
A violent wave of energy surged from Onime, sending dozens of ice dragons shooting skyward, all converging on Shikamaru.
"Limitless chakra, is it? Heh… I'll show you what true limitless chakra looks like." Shikamaru smirked. Onime, who had been at most a quasi-Kage-level opponent moments ago, now stood firmly in Kage-tier. A rare glimmer of battle intent sparked in his eyes.
"Shadow Clone Jutsu!"
Shikamaru summoned as many clones as there were ice dragons. Each clone formed seals in unison.
"Shadow Ninjutsu: Shadow Chidori, Super!"
Blinding black light erupted from every clone. Each wielded a supercharged Shadow Chidori, slamming them into the advancing ice dragons.
Boom! Boom!
The ice dragons shattered one after another under the relentless assault, the resulting shockwaves dispersing Shikamaru's clones as well.
"Still not enough!" Onime giggled menacingly. Her delicate hands danced through more seals.
"Ice Release: Chaotic Ice Dragon Dance!"
The energy she unleashed this time distorted the very air around her, ripples spreading in all directions. Shikamaru noticed that the Ice Emperor Armor dimmed briefly after her technique was cast, before rapidly reabsorbing ice energy to recover its luster.
Dozens of ice dragons erupted from the ground, their erratic and unpredictable trajectories converging on Shikamaru from all directions.
"Tch, troublesome jutsu." Shikamaru clicked his tongue.
"Shadow Ninjutsu: Shadow Doppelgänger!"
Two shadow clones identical in strength to his true body appeared, a rare sight since his fight against Tsunade in the gambling den.
The clones intercepted the chaotic ice dragons while Shikamaru darted toward Onime.
"Shadow Ninjutsu: Shadow Spiral Sphere, Super!"
"Shadow Ninjutsu: Shadow Chidori, Super!"
In a flash, Shikamaru executed his trusted techniques, channeling their devastating power into his hands. He weaved through the icy onslaught with precision, closing the gap to Onime.
"Ice Release: Ice Shield!"
Startled by Shikamaru's speed, Onime hastily erected an icy barrier.
Crack! Boom!
The shield shattered instantly, unable to withstand Shikamaru's assault. His twin attacks struck Onime head-on, sending her plummeting to the frozen ground below.
"Onime-sama!" cried the Snow Ninjas in horror.
But Shikamaru frowned. Though his attack had landed, it hadn't dealt significant damage.
"Shadow Ninjutsu: Shadow Prison!"
As he contemplated the resilience of her armor, Shikamaru swiftly deployed another jutsu. Dozens of shadows shot from his body, targeting Onime.
"Ice Release: Reflective Ice Mirror!"
A seductive voice resonated. A massive ice mirror materialized above Onime, reflecting and redirecting the shadows back toward Shikamaru.
When the mirror disappeared, Onime reemerged, unharmed. The Ice Emperor Armor, though slightly dimmed, was already recovering.
"So, as long as the armor's energy remains intact, she's invincible…" Shikamaru muttered, piecing together the mechanics of her resilience.
"Let's see how you handle this." he said with a smirk. Shadows swirled in his hands, forming an amalgamation of his strongest techniques.
In the distance, Kin and Fubuki watched anxiously. Kin, recalling Shikamaru's devastating power from past battles, quickly fled. "Move! Now!" she shouted to Fubuki, who hesitated only briefly before following.
High in the sky, three colossal spheres of black energy coalesced, each over 50 meters in diameter and crackling with dark lightning. Their sheer presence distorted the very heavens.
"Shadow Ninjutsu: Shadow Spiral Chidori Sphere, Super!"
The devastating attack descended, enveloping the entire Snow Ninja Village in a massive explosion that obliterated everything in its wake.

After the chaos subsided, Shikamaru surveyed the aftermath. Among the ruins, Onime's lifeless body remained, encased in her now-fragile armor. Her internal injuries had proven fatal, despite the armor's protection.
"This armor is yours now." Shikamaru said to Fubuki.
"Really?" Fubuki gasped, eyeing the armor with both awe and excitement.
Shikamaru nodded. "It's powerful, but only in icy terrains like this. It's yours to use."
Returning to the Snow Daimyo's palace, Shikamaru announced the annihilation of the Snow Ninja Village. The court, though relieved, was struck with newfound fear and respect for Shikamaru's overwhelming power.

On their journey back to Konoha, Shikamaru relaxed aboard a ship with Hinata and Kin. As they watched the serene waves, Shikamaru mischievously pulled Hinata close.
"Shikamaru! Not here! Kin is just over there…" Hinata protested, blushing furiously.
