Chapter 9: Harry's Dark Past and Love
Pansy followed Minerva and the others to the sitting room where Dumbledore looked very serious and was sitting with a grim expression. They were having a silent conversation with eyes, and then they nodded.
"Please sit down, everyone. Since Harry cares a lot about you and since you know about Emily, Harry has decided that you guys should know everything about Harry and today's events, as it is your right to know as Evalinge's parents. I would like your vow as the information is very sensitive, and the vow will prevent legimilency attacks." he said, and everyone nodded and took the vow after some hesitation.
Dumbledore summoned some butterbears and served them with a wave of his wand for everyone. He then began explaining everything.
"The story started on October 31st, 1981, at Godrics Hollow, when Lord Voldemort attacked the Potters, James Potter sacrificed himself to buy time for his son and wife, but he was not a match for Voldemort and lost after two minutes, Lily Potter begged to leave Harry's life and kill her, but he just shot the killing curse at Harry, but Lily jumped in the front of the curse, and got killed, but Voldemort cast the killing curse again at Harry, but Lily Potter's sacrifice protected Harry from any magic of Lord Voldemort directly, and the curse rebounded, Lord Voldemort's burned to ashes. I arrived, saw Harry, and asked Hagrid to take Harry to Privet Drive, where Lily's sister and her husband lived, the only blood relative Harry had left. I cast the blood wards. No magical with ill intent could enter the wards. Hagrid arrived, and I put Harry with a cot at the door, a note, and left."Dumbledore said with a very guilty expressions nd others were shocked at his decision to leaves a baby in cold night and wondering where he was going with this.
"I made a fatal mistake that day. I was able to hide Harry from the dangers of outside, but not from inside the house. For the next ten years, they abused Harry extensively, they hit him, abused him, neglected him, and made him do chores from the age of three, They burned his hand at the age of three when he made a mistake as he could not reach the stove completely, they used belts, welts and whips on him,starved him, tried to beat the magic out of him. They made him live in a cupboard for ten years of his life. They forced him to dumb himself down, so that his cousin could score more or they punished him. They encouraged their son to bully him in school, they left him in the cupboard for days and weeks without food and water." Dumbledore said in monotone trying to keep the guilt at bay, but this was his way of at owning to up to the mistakes he made.
The others were shocked. Elder Parkinsons were angry, Evalinge was crying silently and Pansy had frozen her seat, eyes wide in shock.
"Harry only survived that due to his magic. They once tried to rape him, but Harry's magic fought back,, and they were thrown back, so they never tried rape again due to fear. Throughout all this, Harry never cried after the three incidents. He took pain without even a scream, no matter how much they tried, Harry held himself with his strong mind." Dumbledore said his voice still in monotone. By now the elder Parkinsons had regained their bearings. They were all wondering why Harry never became a dark wizard.
"Then Harry arrived at hogwarts as the age of 11. He continued to dumb himself down due to his friends. Ronald Weasley would have been jealous, and he was Harry's first friend, and Harry didn't want to lose that, along with Hermione Granger, an intelligent witch, but if Harry had scored better than her, she would have not been with his friends. The trio defeated the the troll, protected Miss Granger, and became friends, they went to protect the philosopher's stone from Lord Voldemort, who is still alive, they cleared the traps, due to Harry's ingenious mind, only one and could go in the last level, so Harry went and fought Lord Voldemort who was residing in the back of Quirell. Harry defeated him in the end with the help of his mother's protection and killed him. And Nicholas Flamel destroyed the Philosopher's Stone; we thought that was the best decision. After the year, Harry asked to stay at Hogwarts during the summer. I ignored his request, thinking of it as childish behavior, which was foolish of me." Dumbledore admitted
"Harry returned for his second year and was shunned by everyone, including his friends, to speak parseltongue. Harry was bullied throughout the years by tripping jinx, but he kept his head down and completed his studies. In April, Ginevra Wealsey was taken to the Chamber of Secrets; by then, Harry had found the location of the Chamber of Secrets. He along with Ronald and Lockhard, whom Harry didn't, but Ron wanted to have him there, so Harry went with them. Unfortunately, Harry and Ronald were separated, and Harry alone had to go again. Tom Riddle was waiting there with Ginevra Weasley lying on the floor, half dead. The events were orchestrated by a device of Lord Voldemort, who was known as Tom Riddle in his youth. Tom Riddle called the creature that was responsible for the events in the second year Salazar Slytherin's 75-foot-long basilisk and told it to kill Harry." Dumbledore said with his voice heavy once more at his failure to protect students. Parkinsons were shocked that so much was going on but no one even had gotten a whiff of these events.
"Fawkes fortunately arrived with sorting Hat to Harry, Harry started running around the chamber to distract the basilisk till he could find a way to kill the basilisk. Fawkes had destroyed Basilisk's eyes till then, Harry saw this and stopped moving to avoid sound, then saw a silver reflection in the Sorting hat, He took it and as Basilisk lunged at him, Harry killed it with the sword by forcing through the roof of the mouth of Basilisk, but unfortunately a fang had pierced Harry's skin, he knew he was going to die. I do not know what happened there, but Harry was so furious at Lord Voldemort. Harry was angry at Tom for taking away his family, and he was angry at himself for being weak and unable to bring justice to the people who had wronged his family. In that final moment, he grew furious, took out the fang, and destroyed the artifact. Harry thought he would die, but Fawkes cried on his tears, and it neutralized the Basilisk venom. Harry had decided then to start studying seriously and stop holding back. He was burning with the need for vengeance and justice for all his family." Dumbledore told them with a proud look on his face but still in a sombre voice.
"Harry started studying after that. He saw that Ronald had tried to steal one artifact he loved the most; it was the only thing Harry had from either of his parents. So, Harry decided to end the friendship when Ronald stopped talking to Harry when he chose different electives. He trained the whole summer, got emancipation and the title of Lord Potter. He studied every waking hour to improve himself and be the best, and he would enjoy a movie in Muggle London on Saturday for 3 hours to relax himself.
One Sunday, he was walking out of the theatre, and he saw a girl being manhadled by four dudes and used legimilency to understand the intentions and became furious as they were planning to rape her. Harry beat the four of them by muggle methods and took the girl with him. She lived in an orphanage from a month as her parents had died last month. The orphanage had bullies and the matron was a very nasty woman. Harry asked the girl to come live with him. One week before the school. Harry asked the girl for blood adoption and gave his reason as he did not want the girl, who was a muggle-born witch to be at the lowest of the society and had started to see her as his own daughter, she agreed and Harry blood adopted her. She was named Emily Lily Potter." Dumbledore said with pride evident in his voice. Parkinsons were shocked at hearing that Harry had adopted. Evalinge was proud of her brother. Pansy was shocked again at hearing this.
"Harry then came to school, and showed us everything as I was withholding important information from Harry, so that he could have a happy childhood. After he gave me the memories, I understood that Harry was not a child and I decided to tell him. I told Minerva to leave so that I can tell him the information. Then I got the worst verbal thrashing ever from Harry to trust Minerva and consider her opinion after all she had done for me. He made me realize my mistakes, forgave us, and told us he trusted us the most. That day, we met Emily Potter for the first time; Harry told us to become her godparents. We couldn't believe it at first, but we accepted. We have since then known that he will come back and we will have to be ready. Between Harry and Me, I think we are better prepared than last time. He just wanted to remind us that he is still there and is slowly gaining strength. What you saw today was not even the tip of Harry's anger. His daughter is the most important person in his life. He does everything he can for her. Even after training, he takes her to movies and father-daughter dates to give her a normal childhood for as long as possible. But he is afraid of being a lousy father ever since she came into his life, but he is trying to do his best for her. You should sleep on what I have said. We need to wait for Harry to come with Emily, I don't think Harry will sleep tonight." Dumbledore explained in one swoop with restlessness in his movement. He had to go to take accounting of tonight's events and plan for the fallout of it all.
The Parkinsones had various emotions on everyone's face. They nodded and left as the elf showed them the room.
Pansy's room was next to Harry. She was feeling many emotions at once. Anger at Malfoy and Snape for lying about such a good person. Anger at herself for believing them. She had bullied Harry during their second and third year, along with Malfoy. Harry had not fought back because of her. She had seen it in his eyes, he wanted to attack, but then he had seen her and stopped and left without saying anything. He always seemed afraid of her. She also felt furious towards his relatives, who did those things to a child. They had abused him thoroughly. Someone else would have broken down completely, but Harry had suppressed his emotions and became more powerful.
She also realised the skill difference between them. After one year of training, Harry became a very powerful, determined wizard. She also felt exasperation at Harry. He had seen her with longing since last year but was scared of her for some reason. She would talk to him about it. She also smiled at the thought of his daughter. She had seen the care he had for his daughter. Love. Unconditional love and complete devotion towards her. She also felt admiration and astonishment at what Harry had done in his life. He had been through hell, but had always helped people. Even a stranger girl and took her in as a daughter. She would sleep on these thoughts today.
Pansy woke up at 2 in the midnight to a start. She needed to drink water. She also wanted something to drink. She went to the kitchen and drank water. Then she saw a gate open of one of the doors. She entered only to freeze in shock. This was the training room in which Harry was fighting with 25 Auror-level training dummies with no shirts and chiseled abs. She flushed at the thought of running her hands through it. He was panting and his eyes held fury like she had never seen before, he destroyed five of the dummies with one spell, followed by another four wandlessly, he summoned a sword out of thin air and cut down another four in one swoop. He then turned around, and destroyed another 8 with a roar and single flame whip. She could see an aura due to his anger, it was roaring. She also saw the pain he was in. She stood there in shock at the display. She was never going to mess with him again. Ever. He sensed and turned to see her; his eyes softened at seeing her, but sadness was still there. She moved towards him.
"Heiress Parkinson," he said with a bow and a smile.
"Lord Potter," she said in courtesy.
"You can call me Harry," he said, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Then you can call me Pansy," she asked, smiling at his nervousness,
"I am sorry, Pansy. I didn't help you like I helped Eva. I didn't know if you like it or not," he said, looking sad again and looked down.
"Do you care about me, Harry?" she asked softly andwatchedh shocked to see his face contort in pain, and he nodded as sobs rocked his body. He leaned against the wall, slid to the ground, and curled into himself. He was rocking himself, trying to calm down.
She knelt down next to him and wrapped her arms around him. She never want to see him like this again.
"Why did you not tell me?" she asked softly, rocking him.
"I couldn't. I am a shapeshifter. I am both male and female, and I am a submissive. Submissives do not allow themselves to chase dominants. My body accepted you as my first dominant. Whenever you look me in the eye, my body tells me to submit to you. Every time you glare at me, my body releases enzymes to fill me with guilt at such behavior. Every time you look at me coldly, it feels like you are twisting a knife in my gut. Every time you bullied me, it felt like my heart broke gradually. I am sorry I have put you in this position. I know I don't deserve you, and I understand you do not want me. I am sorry for whatever I did to hurt you. It was never my intention to hurt you. I know you hate me. It must be a mistake I may have made unknowingly. And for that, I am sorry. Please find it in your heart to forgive me. The ball is completely in your court. You can be with whoever will keep you happy. I do not want you to be sad because of my happiness. As long as you will be happy, even with anyone else, I will hurt, but I will have ,to learn to be happy for you. I am yours. You are not mine Pansy. Being a submissive means this. Please forgive me." he said pleadingly still hugging her.
Pansy now understood the damage she had done to Harry both knowingly and unknowingly. She had completely broken his heart time and again. She had made his feel undeserving of her and unworthy to ever have a partner. She had unknowingly hurt him many times. She had made him feel that she did not want him. She was filled with guilt for the first time in life for breaking such a beautiful and amazing person, and to make him cry. She had heard from Dumbledore that Harry had never cried, so to break down in front of her, must mean he was sad, angry, and heartbroken. She had to tell him the truth.
"Harry, since when do you like me?" she asked softly.
"I had a crush on you since first year, the feeling intensified, and accepted you as a dominant at the end of the second year." he said, smiling at the memory
"What if I tell you that I find you attractive, compassionate, beautiful, powerful and lovable. And I want you to be mine because of that." she asked smiling at him
"I would like to ask if I can call you mine too." he asked hopefully
"Of course. Harry. Will you be mine," she asked smiling at him when he nodded blushing like a school girl.
"There is something you should know. I have more than one lordship, so I will need multiple dominants, also you would not be able to keep up with the power level alone." he said seriously
"This changes nothing Harry. You should know I was born in magical world and I already knew that was a given." she said smiling at him. He was looking happy and she liked happy Harry.
"But you will always be my number 1. Your claim on me as a partner will be above everyone." He told her seriously, she smiled and nodded.
"Can you tell me about some of the non dangerous stories?" she asked him wanting to know more about him.
"I can tell you what happened at the end of last year." harry told her about the incident with the minister, and by the time he was done, she was in guffwas.
"So, you forced the minister to pay 40 million galleons in a minute after forcing him to give a triel to an escaped convict. This was amazing." she said still grinning. She now understood what Dumbledore and Evalinge meant Harry was the most intelligent person. He definitely was the most intelligent person she knew after this incident. She saw Harry looking nervous again.
"Al if you wish to remove Malfoy from the power in the Slytherin house, it will not be difficult. He cannot harm you" harry said to her and she looked confused.
"Why can't he harm me ?" she asked concerned
"While there are not many people who know this, I persuaded Lucius Malfoy to part with 75 % of his fortune." he said to her smiling proudly when she started laughing again
"How did you manage that?" she asked between Laughs.
"He was the one who planted the artifact in Ginny Weasley's cauldron at the start of 2nd year. So I returned it to him with a sock inside it, he refused and gave it to his abused house-elf, who had tried to help me against his master. He was freed as Lucius gave him clothes. He tried to use the killing curse on me but Dobby blew him on his butt and I petrified him and took him into an empty classroom, conjured a scissor, disarmed his, then placed the scissor between Balls and penis, he was only too happy to part with 75% of his fortune that was 230 million galleons" he said smiling at the memory and Pansy could not hold it any longer and burst out laughing.
"Oh you are definitely a political monster. I will never fight against you in politics. But why will Draco not attack me because of that." she asked confused but still smiling at the thought of Lucius's face
"A few people know about the money I took from Lucius, no one knows that I also took an unbreakable vow from him, that he will not harm me or the people I love in anyway from now on. And that includes you," Harry told her, and she was laughing on the floor this time.
Harry missed the hug and gave a pout to her, she just hugged him again.
"I like being held like this" Harry said smiling
"I like holding you," Pansy said smiling
"You should go to sleep, Pansy," Harry said a bit upset. Pansy nodded and left. Harry went up to his room and hugged his daughter and slept with her again.
