Chapter 99: The New Kwun Tong Factory

After safely dropping off Guan Jiahui at her residential complex, Lin Haoran didn't waste a moment and drove straight to Aimco's new factory.

Today was October 29th — exactly six days since he had acquired the new facility.

During that time, he hadn't visited the site once, so he wasn't sure how everything looked now.

By the time he arrived, it was already 8:30 a.m., just half an hour before the simple inauguration ceremony that Liu Luanzhong had scheduled for 9:00 a.m.

As soon as he entered the factory premises, he quickly spotted Liu Luanzhong busily directing the workers.

There was an irrepressible look of joy on Liu Luanzhong's face, clearly brimming with confidence and excitement about the move.

After all, going from running a tiny workshop to owning a brand-new, 2,000-square-meter facility was a huge leap forward.

Of course, this leap came with a HK$1 million debt burden — but Liu Luanzhong seemed utterly unfazed.

With the flood of orders they were now receiving, he was confident he could easily repay the debt in just a few months.

One million dollars? Peanuts.

Noticing Lin Haoran's arrival, Liu Luanzhong immediately rushed over, full of enthusiasm.

"Ah Xiong, the new factory looks fantastic.

You've set everything up in just a few days — it's really impressive," Lin Haoran said with a smile.

"Our fan assembly process is relatively simple, so the production lines were easy to set up efficiently.

We even ran a trial production yesterday — everything went smoothly.

Now that we've moved here, both production efficiency and logistics will see huge improvements.

In fact, once our American distributors learned we were expanding, they instantly multiplied their orders — ten times what they used to order!

Also, I've already asked my friends in the U.S. and Canada to explore even more partnerships.

Once production stabilizes, we can definitely look into further expansion," Liu Luanzhong said, clearly thrilled.

Lin Haoran knew very well that the North American fan market boom would only last two or three years before becoming saturated.

Thus, they needed to move quickly and seize this golden window to make profits.

"Exactly.

We need to aggressively take orders and ramp up production while the competition is still unaware of the North American market's potential.

Also, once things stabilize, your vintage-style fan designs need to move forward too," Lin Haoran said, surveying the bustling factory floor.

Inside the factory, workers busily prepared materials.

The workforce had already grown to over 200 people — several times larger than the old workshop.

Five brand-new assembly lines were up and running, and the warehouse was packed with raw materials, indicating thorough preparation.

"Haoran, my thoughts exactly!

I can't wait to see Aimco thrive," Liu Luanzhong said firmly.

Seeing Lin Haoran now as a Chairman of a listed company, Liu Luanzhong couldn't help but feel a touch of envy.

Still, he knew success took time and patience.

Liu Luanzhong remained extremely confident about the North American market.

His four years studying in Canada had given him deep understanding of both the culture and the market, as well as valuable connections.

These connections would greatly ease their expansion efforts.

"Everyone, gather up!" Liu Luanzhong shouted loudly.

He enthusiastically brought Lin Haoran forward.

"This is Mr. Lin, our boss — just like me, he's one of Aimco's owners!" Liu announced proudly.

Although Lin Haoran's name had appeared frequently in newspapers lately, most workers had only glanced at the articles and pictures.

Few recognized him immediately.

Thus, the employees didn't realize that the modest, approachable man standing before them was the very same Chairman who had just rocked Hong Kong's business world by acquiring Qingzhou Cement.

"Hello everyone, I'm very happy to work alongside all of you.

Aimco's future is full of opportunities.

As long as we work hard together, the possibilities are limitless.

Let's work hard and create a brilliant future together!" Lin Haoran said, offering a few heartfelt words.

A wave of warm, enthusiastic applause broke out among the 200+ workers.

Thus, the team was officially introduced to their new boss.

Outside the factory, rows of firecrackers were laid out neatly.

Liu Luanzhong had even invited a lion dance troupe to liven things up —

the atmosphere was festive and joyous.

"Everyone, quickly gather downstairs!" Liu shouted.

It was almost 9:00 a.m.

He and Lin Haoran walked side by side out of the factory building, stepping into the lively scene.

The industrial park, being newly constructed, was still sparsely populated.

Only two companies had moved into the six-story building so far.

One tenant was on the fifth floor — likely because the rent was cheaper.

Aimco, however, had secured the entire second floor.

"I've already discussed this with the industrial park manager," Liu said as they walked.

"They agreed to prioritize renting out other buildings first.

Later, when our funds allow, we can gradually expand into the first and third floors.

That way, Aimco's operations will have even more space."

"That's a great idea," Lin Haoran agreed.

Aimco wasn't short of money to rent additional floors immediately —

but for now, there was no urgent need.

The industrial park's occupancy rate was still below 20%, so there was no rush.

Although the opening ceremony wasn't extravagant or filled with distinguished guests,

for Aimco, it marked an important milestone.

Even the industrial park manager showed up personally to offer congratulations.

Several suppliers who had long-standing partnerships with Aimco also sent beautiful flower baskets to express their support and best wishes.

With the firecrackers crackling and colorful banners fluttering,

Liu Luanzhong and Lin Haoran officially declared the new factory open.

Outside the entrance, a temporary red stage stood prominently.

A huge poster behind it read "Grand Opening of Aimco's New Factory" — adding to the festive mood.

As the applause thundered and camera shutters clicked, this moment was immortalized.

The factory inauguration concluded in a cheerful and harmonious atmosphere.

"Alright everyone, thank you for your hard work!

Now let's head upstairs and officially get back to work!"

Liu Luanzhong shouted with a broad grin.
