Freya's POV
"No, that's not necessary..." I clutched the bath towel tighter around my body, still dripping from the shower. How could I possibly let him assist me when I wasn't even properly dressed?
That path would surely lead us straight to his bedroom.
His soft laughter rippled through the air, warm and inviting. "Fair enough. Take your time getting ready. I'll be waiting in the sunroom upstairs on the terrace."
"Alright, I'll find you there."
During my previous visit, he had given me a complete tour of his home, so I knew exactly where to locate the second-floor sunroom.
The space served as his personal retreat, constructed entirely with reinforced glass panels. On cloudless evenings like this one, the entire cosmos stretched out overhead in brilliant display.
The hour wasn't particularly late, which suggested he intended for us to watch the stars together.
I slipped into the clothing he had selected for me.
