"Who asked you to stand up?" Zara snapped at her youngest son.
"Oh...sorry, ma'am." Kendrick stifled a chuckle, keeping his gaze lowered in mock surrender.
Zara didn't buy his remorseful expression as she began to lash out at him.
"I knew you were always the little troublemaker in this family. You may think you have outgrown your parents, but I'm still your mother, and I have the best remedy for your stubbornness." Her expression hardened as she declared firmly. "Come tomorrow morning, I'm going to find you a stubborn wife who will not tolerate your manipulative games. Someone as hot-headed as you are and I know the perfect girl that fits..."
"That won't be necessary, Mom," Kendrick interrupted her smoothly, looking up to meet her gaze.
"Excuse me?" Zara arched a brow, her eyes shooting daggers.
"I already found a woman who fits your description, Mom."
Both Andrew and Erick stifled a chuckle as they couldn't agree less with their younger brother's statement.
