"Counsels, you may introduce your parties." The judge's calm but authoritative voice broke through the silent murmur.
Hirays's attorney, Barista Manfred Wayne–a seasoned attorney of a notable law firm in LampStone stood up and gave a curt bow as he said.
"My Lord, I would like to introduce my client- the plaintiff, Miss Ivy Cruz, a corporate executive of AML Dynamics."
The judge gave an acknowledging nod before turning to the defence counsel.

"My Lord, permit me to introduce the defendant, Mr. Miguel Ayala and his wife, Mrs. Lia Ayala."
"Thank you, counsel. Since this is a civil claim for defamation, I will hear first from the defendant and then from the plaintiff before giving my final verdict.
