Chapter 269 - Chapter 269: Resolving to Grow Stronger!

Not even the Shirayama family knew how much their ancestral katana was worth. After murdering them, Fuwa Kuro-ō had even gone so far as to leave a similar blade behind to confuse any investigators. Yet, none of these tricks had managed to deceive Uchiha Ikeizumi !

"That is all! Today, in the name of [Absolute Justice], I judge you!" Ikeizumi gripped his hilt, but after a brief thought, he met Fuwa Kuro-ō's gaze once more. Allowing such an extreme villain to die too quickly would be a defilement of justice. "Feel the pain of those you have harmed! This is the Judgment Pupil from Hell!"

The tomoe in Ikeizumi 's Sharingan spun rapidly, merging into a four-pointed shuriken pattern...a pinwheel design. He instantly activated the Mangekyō technique of his left eye.

Using a Mangekyō ability to execute a mere Mist Jōnin was certainly using a sledgehammer to crack a nut. However, with Ikeizumi 's current visual prowess, he didn't need to worry about such minor consumption.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!"

Fuwa Kuro-ō, his body pinned by the Sharingan Genjutsu, immediately let out a scream that sounded barely human. Just like the victims who died tragically at his hands, he personally experienced every ounce of agony they went through. More terrifyingly, the Judgment Pupil provided an immersive, visceral experience.

In Fuwa's mental space, he became the incarnation of those sisters. He didn't just feel the physical pain of the assault and murder; he also suffered the psychological trauma of watching his closest relative die.

Even though he was a cold-blooded piece of human trash, under the effect of the dōjutsu, he felt every bit of the victims' psychological devastation as if it were his own.

More horrifyingly, this was only the beginning. Before Fuwa could recover from the dual physiological and psychological blow, he became the child he had kidnapped and tied up. Realizing what was about to happen, Fuwa screamed in terror.

But no matter how he begged or threatened, the "other Fuwa Kuro-ō" acted as if he heard nothing, grinning as he swung the long blade to cleave him in two at the waist.

The unprecedented agony made Fuwa wish for instant death. But the Fuwa of that day had intentionally avoided vital organs while testing his blade. That child had wailed for nearly half a day before finally expiring, and now, the one experiencing that eternity was Fuwa himself!

Experiencing the victims' lives over and over again...under any other circumstance, he would have gone insane long ago. But under the dōjutsu's influence, Fuwa participated in every "experience" in a peak state of consciousness. Countless cycles of living and dying finally pushed Fuwa's physical body to its limit.

Thud!

Fuwa Kuro-ō, still letting out non-human wails, fell straight to the ground. His body twitched uncontrollably and his bowels voided, yet he could no longer make a sound. His consciousness was still being tortured within the dōjutsu, but his body had instinctively begun to reject the pain signals from his brain.

"Still trying to play tricks!" Ikeizumi 's expression darkened. Even though this was just an instinctive physical reaction, in Ikeizumi 's eyes, it was ironclad evidence of Fuwa Kuro-ō attempting to escape his punishment. "Heavenly Wrath Flames!"

Blood flowed from Ikeizumi 's right eye socket. A massive burst of crimson flames surged out from within Fuwa's body. The physical form, already disconnected from consciousness, was instantly incinerated into ash.

However, the truly terrifying part wasn't the destruction of the flesh. If anyone among the Mist shinobi present could see souls, they would find Fuwa's soul hovering above the ashes, wailing incessantly. Originally, only the mind and body were meant to receive execution, but since Fuwa's body instinctively refused the sentence, Ikeizumi could only use his soul to make up the difference.

Fuwa Kuro-ō suffered for what felt like an eternity in the world of consciousness, yet in reality, only a split second had passed. Seeing Fuwa killed so abruptly by Ikeizumi , the Mist shinobi began to stir.

"That guy is completely looking down on us..." "Dammit! What right does he have to kill Kuro-ō? What evidence does he have for those things!" "This monster is just here to kill! We can't sit here and wait for death!"

The Mist shinobi, especially the conservatives, immediately prepared for battle. Under the suppression of the Fifth Mizukage Mei Terumī and Elder Genji, they could hold their noses and feign submission to Ikeizumi , but that didn't mean they were actually convinced.

Seeing Ikeizumi 's right eye bleeding, some Mist shinobi even assumed he had been injured. They had hundreds of people...a "strong and numerous" force...while the enemy had been through continuous battles and now had his most important eye injured. Wasn't this a golden opportunity to strike?

"Silence!" Mei Terumī stood up immediately to bark an order. She hadn't told the others about Ikeizumi 's "Judgment" ability specifically to prevent the sinners from being too scared to face him.

Seeing Ikeizumi execute Fuwa, Mei wasn't surprised at all. She only felt a sense of defeat that her hope...her plan to ask Ikeizumi to give these people a chance...had utterly shattered.

Fuwa Kuro-ō alone had committed so many crimes; to her knowledge, he wasn't even the most animalistic member of the conservative faction. It wasn't hard to imagine that the conservatives were about to be completely wiped out.

"Do not panic, and do not harbor any illusions. These eyes of mine can see the crimes you have committed in the past and will commit in the future. This is common knowledge in Konoha." Ikeizumi swept his calm gaze over the agitated Mist shinobi. Out of consideration for the "White Names" and borderless innocents among them, he added an explanation: "In the name of [Absolute Justice], I will not wrong a single innocent person, nor will I let a single person who deserves to die escape!"

"As long as your conscience is clear, there is no need to worry. Lord Ikeizumi 's ability has been verified by Elder Genji. As long as you haven't committed unforgivable crimes, you still have a chance for atonement!" Mei Terumī added hurriedly, even dragging Genji's name in to strengthen her persuasiveness, though she also took the chance to sneak in her own agenda.

Ikeizumi frowned slightly. Among those White Names, there were many who were dangerously close to becoming Red Names; he had no intention of letting them off easily.

However, there was no need to emphasize that point now. He had to prioritize the Red Names first. With matters of urgency at hand, he could only temporarily set aside the punishment for the White Names.

Ultimately, he still wasn't strong enough. Back then, because he wasn't strong enough, he couldn't truly complete the execution of Danzō and had to let him go for a while. Now, it was still because he wasn't strong enough that he couldn't complete the execution of all Red Names in an instant. Thus, he could only let the White Names be for now.
