RINA'S POV

I clenched my fists into tight balls as I walked behind Rhea, 'Why does everything revolved around her, wouldn't it be better if I was the only child?'

Before I realized what I was doing, I reached out to Rhea's hair and pulled it hard enough that she came tumbling down the stairs.

"Ahh," She groaned in pain. Our parents rushed to the scene and my hands flew to my mouth in disbelief, shocked at my own actions.

'What have I done, I didn't know what came over me, how could I have done something like this,' I froze where I stood as I watched Rhea cry out in pain while holding onto her left arm.

Mom and Dad rushed towards her in shock, it must have took them by surprise — Hell, it even took me by surprise, my actions were— they were unreasonable and unnecessary.

"Rhea ... Someone get the first aid kit, quickly!" He ordered the maids that had gathered around.

"What happened my dear, how did this happen?" Mommy asked after gathering her composure.

"Rh--Rhea are you okay?" I stuttered, of course she wasn't, I had hurt my twin sister and all for what?

"What happened to your sister, how did this happen Rina?!" Daddy asked me and I was rendered immobile, panicking even more.

I--I don't know, sh--she missed a step and fell," I lied right through my teeth, "Ask her she'll tell you,"

I bit my lower lip, hoping to hell she wouldn't tell them I pulled her down the stairs.

"Rhea is that true?" Mom asked. Silence reigned for a moment, Rhea gaze met mine, she looked dumbfounded and displeased — probably wondering why I did what I did. I shook my head, obviously begging her not to tell.

"Yes, I--I missed a stair and fell — I'm sorry for not being careful," She said and I sighed in relief.

"You should be more careful my love, thankfully it's just a sprain — nothing's broke ," Daddy said, stroking her hair affectionately.

"Here," Mommy said, applying ointment on Rhea's arm, I watched as they picked her up and carried her towards the sofa — pampering her, I had felt bad a while ago but now the anger I felt intensified, she got more attention — all I did was help her get more attention from our parents.

I stomped up to my room and slammed the door behind me.

RHEA'S POV

Why would Rina do this, I glanced at her and tears rolled down my eyes, not because of the physical pain I was feeling but the emotional pain that I felt knowing it was Rina my own sister, who dragged me down the stairs for no reason, why does she hate me so much, what did I do to deserve her hatred?

When our parents asked her what had happened, I was expecting her to tell the truth, but she lied. I was shocked and disappointed, she shocked her head violently, begging me not to tell on her, I could tell she was scared and nervous.

Maybe she didn't mean to do it, it could have been a mistake, maybe she was about to fall and grabbed onto me for support so I fell instead — I tried so hard to convince myself it was a a misunderstanding but I knew Rina, I knew deep down she meant it.

They applied ointment on my arm and then bandaged it, putting it in a cast, and it was all daddy, at least I had the opportunity for my daddy who was almost never around to treat my injuries and it felt great, I couldn't help but smile to myself.

"Why are you smiling dear, you're hurt?" Artie asked, it seemed she noticed it.

"I know Nanny, but Daddy is treating my wound, I'm almost thankful I got hurt," I said with a smile and Daddy's gaze met mine, he playfully flicked my head and then kissed my cast.

"Don't make such jokes Mihá," He said and mommy also flicked my head.

"Do you have any idea how scared I was?" She said with years threatening to fall.

"I'm fine mommy, don't worry to much or you'll have wrinkles," I embraced her.

It was a bit uncomfortable to sleep at night due to my sprained arm, but finally it was morning, I got up and freshened up, after taking a bath I tied a towel around my chest and went into my closet, there was a beautiful dress hanging right Infront of it, It was among the gifts Dad brought along with him, I had a lot of dresses but I never wore them.

I planned on wearing it today, the first day of school, but Rina's words echoed in my head, 'Make sure you keep dressing like this, we wouldn't want you stealing my thunder, you're the tomboy, I'm the glamorous twin,'

I sighed, pushing the dress away and taking out a blue flannel shirt, you'd be surprised how many of these Rina bought for me as gifts because she didn't want me dressing as classy as her. In her words, she didn't want me 'stealing her thunder.'

I paired the Flannel shirt with a white jean and blue sneakers, it was kinda hard doing all these with one hand but I managed anyway, all that was left was braiding my hair, Rina always suggested I braid my hair in pigtails.

But at that moment I sat Infront of the dressing mirror, my hair fell against my shoulders in waves like waterfalls, it looked more beautiful this way, I looked a lot like Rina — no not quite. I applied red lipstick and an eyeliner, now I looked exactly like Rina.

A knock landed on my door and mom came in, I immediately wiped off the lipstick and sat up straight. "Good morning mom," I greeted with a warm smile.

She closed the door behind her "You're all ready," She stated. "I was hoping to help you out,"

"Not quite ready yet, would you please help me braid my hair in pigtails," I asked, giving her a brush. She nodded and took the brush, combing my hair gently and cautiously. I closed my eyes, feeling my mother's hand on my head.

"I should've been here sooner but your sister demanded I dress her up for school," Mom said and I chuckled. "Why don't you stay home today, call in sick, your arm is still not healed,"

"And miss the first day of school, no way mom, it's been Rina and my dream to attend Silver High College ever since we were kids," I said excitedly.

"You have beautiful hair, why do you always braid it, why don't you try dressing like your sister for once," Mom asked.

"I guess it's just my style,"

"All done," She said after a short while and kisses my head. "You should always do what you want to do Mihá, don't let yourself be a puppet to anyone," I smiled and she took the pink lipstick Infront of the mirror, handing it over to me.

"I don't like make up mom,"

"Just wear it today, for me," She said and I took it, applying it to my lips.

"You are so beautiful Mihá," She said and then left the room.

She's right, I was Indeed beautiful. A knock came at the door shortly after "Come in mom," I said, thinking it was mommy again but to my surprise it was Rina.

She was all dressed up and looked as glamorous and pretty as ever, she was dressed in a blue crop top and a short white skirt — we were wearing the exact same color of clothes, what a coincidence — only I looked like a boy and she looked like a sexy teen, she was also putting in blue flats and her hair was in a low ponytail with two strands resting at the side of her perfectly sculpted face.

Her make-up was light but once again it enhanced her beauty and the blue top she wore outlined her perfectly plump boobs.

"Rina," I called in surprise, standing up almost immediately.

"Hey Rhea, I want to apologize for what happened yesterday, because of me you're hurt, and on the first day of school,''

"It's okay Rina, I know you didn't meant to,"

"Thanks, I came bearing a gift, you were always the one giving me gifts on our birthdays so I want to give you one," Rina said.

"Oh Rina, you didn't have to, besides our birthday has passed,"

"I had too, you're my twin," she said giving me the small rectangular box. I collected it, and when I opened it my smile faded.

"It's a cheap, nerdy glasses for a nerdy girl," Rina said, her tone switching from sweet to bitchy.

"You can have this back, my eyesight is great," I said, outstretching her gift back to her.

"It's a gift from me to you sister, you should at least wear it," She said, putting the glasses on me. "Everytime, okay?"

I nodded and she hugged me, "let's go, we might get late for school," She grabbed my cast hurriedly and I winced in pain and she withdrew her hand. "Oh sorry, I forgot about that, let's go," She pulled at my other arm and pulled me outside.

"Girls,"

"Good morning Dad," Rina and I greeted in unison.

"Morning my bundle of joy," He kissed our foreheads and we embraced him.

"It feels nice waking up and you're still here," Rina uttered, she seemed genuinely excited.
