Chapter 27 : Consequences and Rewards.

- Shin –

It took a few minutes for Gabriel to get a hold of herself.

When she did, she pulled back a little and thanked me before hugging me once again.

"….but that's impossible. Time inversion cannot do what you just did?" Azazel however seemed to be in denial even now.

"Well probably because it was not Temporal Inversion at all." I sighed.

"What do you mean Shin-kun?" asked Serafall who was looking or rather glaring daggers at Gabriel but held herself back from saying anything this time.

"Shun Shun Rikka is a product of luck more than anything." I had already thought of an excuse for this if it ever got out what its real powers are. "There was an accident when I was making an artifact for Temporal Inversion. The product formed was Shun Shun Rikka, which was something….much more."

Azazel halted for a moment before his eyes widened.

"BULLSHIT."

"It is one of the reasons that I rejected giving this artifact to anyone or making another one of these. This artifact is just too dangerous after all."

Azazel seems to still be in denial but knowing the real power of Shun Shun Rikka that much is obvious.

"What exactly does it do Shin-kun?" Serafall asked again but in a serious voice.

….

"It rejects events, injuries, attacks and even….reality." I answered.

….

….

….

The silence that followed was biting to say the least. The words took a few moments for them to register before they all stared at the small hairpin on my coat.

"….that's absurd. Do you even understand what you are talking about? It is no joking matter Shin-kun?" said Sirzechs this time.

Wow now he is rejecting the reality of the situation….and I thought Shun Shun Rikka is supposed to be unique.

"I know right. Well so we can all forget about it. We all just had a collective hallucination about Gabriel falling. I am pretty sure that was not the case. Let's finish everything up and leave for home. I am pretty tired after all this." I deadpanned back.

"You know, you can be really troublesome Shin-kun? This….how many know about this artifact's real power? I am not even sure what to say about it anymore." Serafall said.

"Only the ones present here. I intended to keep this a secret for however long I could, forever if possible. To be perfectly honest, even I realized this power after a few times." I stated back. My MP is getting refilled again.

"Then keep it that way. This one is not like other Longinuses. Its potential is much more dangerous than the other Longinuses." she turned towards the other younger generations and continued, "That is an order."

Many of them agreed.

"You are not my leader. You don't get to order Me." said Vali.

Really this guy has too much pride.

"Vali" Azazel called out, causing him to turn to him, "Just do it. This matter is better left here." sighed Azazel.

….

A few moments passed in silence.

"Now that that is out of the way, what will be done to the attackers?" I asked.

I had my plans for Kokabiel. A soul of that level can be used to make a decent artifact. And what better way to rub it in his face than use his soul as an artifact to protect the peace that he wanted to destroy.

As I said already, death will be a mercy compared to what I will do to him this time.

"They will be interrogated and then executed. This was an extremely close call. Even if we decide to seal them off in Cocytus, there will be a lot of disagreements regarding this. I don't think anyone will be satisfied with it either." said Azazel.

The others nodded in agreement.

Even Michael who looked genuinely sad agreed to it as they looked at Kokabiel. Kokabiel was effectively sentenced to death.

Good.

"What of the girl who stabbed Gabriel?" asked Uriel who although seems calmer than before was still angry. I kinda get why he is that way but the dude really needs to learn to read the mood.

"Lavinia will be going nowhere." Vali sharply added, the present members of the Slash Dog team also agreed to it.

"She tried to cause a war just for a boy. You think that is something easy to let go." shouted Uriel as he turned towards Azazel. "Talk some sense to this boy."

Azazel on his part looked extremely tired.

"Lavinia is not under me and I cannot decide what to do with her. She is actually a part of Grauzauberer Magician Association so she is under Mephisto Pheles' command." said Azazel.

"Then Mephisto has to answer for this. I will not let an attack on my sister go unanswered."

"She attacked Gabriel because she had wrackspurts in her head dummy. Why else would Lavinia do something so silly?" came a dreamy voice that made me snap out of my mental exhaustion and back into the ongoing conversations.

….

….

Most of the people present there went completely blank at this.

Vali looked somewhat confused but mostly grateful for the support.

"What is this child speaking about?"

"What she meant is that Lavinia was not in the right state of mind when that incident happened." I said gathering their attention to myself. "She was under the effects of a curse. The dagger that was used was made up of the arrow of the Greek God Eros or Cupid. It was the very same one that was shot at Hades to make him attracted to Persephone, his wife. From this we can know that it is strong enough to even affect a God. Secondly, the arrow was then poisoned by the blood of your own kin….Samael. As you already know the stunt your father pulled over him, the hate and negative feelings in his cursed blood poisoned the dagger twisting its powers and making it such that feelings of attraction were changed to obsession. On a side note, this dagger can also cause Angels to have stray thoughts and cause them to fall especially since it was your Father's own curse, the system is especially keen to it. Right now, she needs the cure to the curse rather than this persecution. What I want to know is when she was caught by this curse." I looked towards Lavinia before passing a potion to Merlin who starts the treatment.

The information was a heavy load for the leaders of the three factions.

"Is Hades involved in this?" asked Sirzechs.

"It might be that the Grim Reapers have gone rogue?" Michael gave his own thoughts.

"That is unlikely. The Grim Reapers are too loyal to the old God of the Dead to go rogue. It is however what he will claim." said Azazel.

"What of the girl? Is she an accomplice?" asked Uriel.

This guy has been getting on my nerves. I mean I know that he is upset that his sister was hurt but still. Lavinia was in the same situation if not worse here.

"An accomplice to what Lord Uriel?" I asked. Let's beat him up until he calms down.

"An accomplice to what happened here today?" he ground his teeth.

"The battle? Yes, she was on our side and helped us fight. I have to say the ice walls she made were quite a help in protecting us." I played ignorant, goading him further.

"She attacked Gabriel." he shouted.

"Eh? Really? She did? Is Lady Gabriel hurt? When did that happen?" I asked, confused.

The others looked confused at me while Azazel, Michael, Serafall and Sirzechs had a look of realization.

"What are you playing at Devil? We all know that she attacked Gabriel which caused her to fall." he continued without looking at the others.

"Really Lady Gabriel fell? When? Why is it that her wings are still white if she fell? Are the Fallen Angels going for a fashion change?" I continued mocking.

"You…."

"Well you see Archangel Uriel, even if Lady Gabriel fell, are you sure you can afford the news about this whole affair to spread? Heaven's system which cannot even withstand a pure nun like Asia accidentally healing a devil and had to be excommunicated, will it be able to stand the burden of Lady Gabriel's rise to grace if this news spreads?" I smile internally when I see the realization dawn at his face. "It seems that you have realized the situation you are in. It would be the best if you just go back home and chill rather than dream about having Lavinia punished when she was clearly one of the victims here."

"You want me to just ignore that she caused my sister all this pain." he growled at me.

"Yes. With the number of times you people have ignored the misdeeds of the church all these years, I am pretty sure you can ignore this too." I coldly shut him off, then towards Michael for the final attack, "If I remember correctly the reason why Lucifer fell was because he wanted Angels to be given more preference than the humans? Are you going to do the same this time Lord Michael. If you pursue this incident while you have ignored many towards the church people, you will be doing the exact same things."

The pale faces of the two Archangels tell me the answer that I wanted to hear.

"I assure you that I will not take sides in this situation as well." Michael assured me.

"By the way, I am absolutely sure that Hades is involved. That said he will just shirk the responsibility of this attack by claiming that the Grim Reapers went rogue."

This calmed the leaders as they gained a serious look in their eyes.

"Do you have any proof of it Shin-kun?" asked Sirzechs, his voice emotionless.

"I scanned that dagger with a spell of mine. That was personally made by Hades." Michael clenched his fist at that. "Secondly, I just got a mission from Boss Lady to show him the consequences of attacking me. She is backing me up on this." I smiled an almost predatory smile.

Serafall and Sirzechs' eyes widened at this. "Are you sure?"

"Absolutely, so if you all go to meet the bag of bones, please do take me."

The leaders discussed things among themselves after that while the others were grateful for Lavinia.

Luna seems especially happy with this. She is trying to talk to Lavinia who is still holding Tobio's corpse.

"Shin." I heard another voice that I didn't expect to hear here.

Turning back, I saw Shuri walking towards me with red eyes with Akeno following behind her. She walked up to me and kneeled in a dozega position. "Please help my niece Suzaku."

….what the fuck?

I looked towards Akeno for an explanation.

"Suzaku nee-sama was struck with a light spear through her throat during the attack. She is…."

Ah.

Suzaku was aligned with the Shinto Faction. The pain this will cause is….

Why can't things be simple for me?

"I had heard Vali's report about it but to see this with my own eyes, Shuri Himejima is back from the dead. I take it that this is your doing?" Azazel looked towards me.

I just nodded absentmindedly.

If I just revive Suzaku right now, the people here will not let me live in peace after this.

What to do?

Hmm.

"C-can you really bring the dead back to life?" asked Lavinia. Her voice filled with equal parts despair and hope.

And now she will want me to bring back Tobio too.

What am I, a resurrection vending machine?

"Of course he can. There are few things that my Master cannot do." proudly proclaimed Jibril puffing her chest.

Not helping at all.

Think fast what to do.

Normally I would have simply ignored it and focused on what I wanted but now with Akeno being one of those asking for it.

I looked at the said girl once more. Even though she tried to hide it, I could still see a little hope in her eyes.

Fuck this shit. I know I must hold back. All of my logical side tells me to but then again I was following logic a while ago and it led to Gabriel being stabbed.

A fat load of good that was.

"I cannot revive the two of them normally. Only one. I used up the other slot for Shuri-san." I lied. "You can choose who you want me to bring back. That said," I turned towards Lavinia, "While I can think about Suzaku due to Shuri-san and Akeno, why would I do that for Tobio. Pardon me but I don't even know him well. If tomorrow I need this to bring back someone close to me, I would rather keep it than use it right now."

Was I being a douche?

Sure. But I was being practical.

Just because someone can bring back the dead doesn't mean they will do so for no price at all.

Luna likes Lavinia, that is good enough for me to save her. I would have done that even if that had not been the case as not doing so would have caused too much trouble.

Bringing back Tobio however was a completely different case.

He is a good guy from what I have heard but so was Sirius.

The bottom line is that I don't really know him.

I wouldn't have thought a second if it had been one of my family but for someone unrelated to me, I have no intention of just doing it just because I can.

Bringing Suzaku back makes more sense too.

The Shinto Faction may be enraged if the leader of one of the five principal clans were to die in a Fallen Angel attack in the presence of the Maou's relatives and Archangels.

Bloody Politics.

Even Gods are not exempt from it.

Tobio on the other hand doesn't have such backing because he was killed by Kokabiel and his backing is Azazel himself who can't do shit to anyone here considering his position in this matter.

"I-I will do anything you want. P-p-please help him. Please. Tobio is her nephew as well just like Suzaku. They are both my friends so please bring them back. I will do anything that you want me to do." she pleaded. I had to check her again with observe to see if she was still under the curse but it turns out that she wasn't.

"Shin please…." This time it was Akeno.

If I am going to do this, I need to get something out of it as well. I have to play this properly or I might mess it up big time.

"Let me explain this properly." I looked towards the leaders as well who while they pretended to talk among themselves, were actually listening to everything that I said. "I have a position that gives me extra lives. I had two extra lives in a way that if I had died then I could revive myself two times before finally dying. I can use this extra life to bring anyone back from Death if certain conditions are met and I am allowed to bring that person back. No bringing back a long dead primordial God or something. Nope that is above my pay scale. I used one of my two extra lives to bring back Shuri-san for Akeno's sake. I currently have only one extra life left, so if I do bring one of them back, you need to understand what it is exactly that I am using here. It is not a mere spell that I can use willy nilly."

+30 Affection with Shuri Himejima(70/100) for using your own life to bring her back.

+50 Obedience with Shuri Himejima(90/100) for using your own life to bring her back.

Looking at the looks on their faces, I was quite satisfied.

Rias looked as if she wanted to stop me from doing it as she gripped my arms harder but a reassuring grip from me calmed her down.

Akeno looked extremely conflicted when she heard it as well. I think she wouldn't even have asked me if it hadn't been for Shuri right now.

The Slash Dog Team however had an extremely serious look on their faces.

"I can bring back only one person normally but I do have a simple way to bring both back. It is just that I am not sure that one of them might be happy with the second method." I continued, a plan already forming in my mind.

"What method Shin-kun? Please tell me. If there is anything that can be done to bring the two of them back then I will do anything as well." Shuri chimed in.

I looked towards them as sighed before continuing, "I can bring back Tobio using my extra life as that is the only method to do it. He has been dead for a while and his body needs to be healed as well. For Suzaku however there is an alternative as she hasn't been gone for long." I looked towards Rias and then Akeno who seems to have gotten the hint.

"What alternative?"

"I can use the Evil Pieces to bring her back. That way both of them can be revived. I am not sure however what her reaction will be." I continued looking towards Shuri.

She paused for a while in thought.

The others as well.

I however was counting on it to happen.

Suzaku Himejima can fight an Ultimate Class Devil at her full power. If she used the Spirit of the Divine Beast Suzaku then even more easily.

I have no idea if the Spirit will stay with her if she becomes a Devil but I have nothing to lose anyways. I will only need one pawn piece to reincarnate her and it is not much of a problem with my upgraded evil pieces. It is just that if I did it upfront then I would have been targeted by many but this way, it will not be my problem alone and I can get a decent backup in others.

"Do it. I will take responsibility for anything that happens. Suzaku will not complain." Shuri said after a bit of consideration.

I honestly had no idea that she was so close to Suzaku. Then again she was the previous candidate as the host of the Divine Spirit and Suzaku is the current one. Their connection might go back more than I know.

I looked towards Azazel, "I need the Canis Lykaon back."

He stood quiet for a moment before nodding without any words.

This is probably going to cause me a lot of problems but the amount of gains from this is not something that I can just ignore. The bigger the risk, greater the profit.

I walked towards Kokabiel who was still in a state of delirium and took out my new Sacred Gear extractor from my inventory.

This one can safely extract the Sacred Gears without killing the host. Even without it in my opinion, the vitality of a twelve winged Fallen Angel will be able to withstand it even with my previous Sacred Gear Extractor.

I placed the extractor on his chest while Jibril held him down and Canis Lykaon was free in a few minutes.

Now for the hard part.

To bring Tobio back.

I used Shun Shun Rikka to restore his body to a proper state and placed the Canis Lykaon near him before using Resurrection.

As the spell ended, I felt him take a breath.

It will take a few moments for him to wake up.

Canis Lykaon's spirit snuggled on his chest as he slept.

"I-impossible . That is not possible. Only the Sephiroth Graal can do anything even close to this." someone muttered though I couldn't care less who it was.

I walked up to Suzaku and brought out a pawn piece.

Pawn Piece(Mutated)

A Mutated Pawn piece of the evil piece set belonging to Shin Kageyami.

Turns a being below God and Buddha into a Devil. Grants a small boost in overall magical powers to the reincarnated being.

Rank: Legendary.

I made my entire set into legendary pieces as soon as I could.

These pieces have much more capacity than the Epic pieces.

I slowly placed it on Suzaku's chest and the piece slowly sank into her.

A blackish light enveloped the whole body of the said girl as magic around her kept rising.

I actually wanted to see how the Vermilion Bird will react with my magic. I have power aligned to Death, Destruction and Shadows while it is the embodiment of Life, Rebirth and Light.

Even if it chooses a different host, I can still get Suzaku to serve under me and that would be quite nice in itself. She was very experienced. Even her death was a result of a suicide attack by an Eight Winged Fallen Angel.

The only problem I can think of is the Shinto Faction trying to use this as an excuse to try something with me.

I did make a plan to use it for my own good. I got that idea as soon as I remembered the mission from Death and decided to go on with it.

If it works well then I won't have the Shinto Faction as my enemy and instead use it to my own advantage.

The hole through her body healed and her power increased by quite a bit before settling. The nature of her power changed by quite a bit though.

The demonic power of the Devils is quite chaotic in nature. It is one of the reasons why healing magic is extremely rare among devils. Sacred Gears and the Stiri's water magic used for healing is the best they can get apart from the Phenex Tears and now my potions.

It took a lot out of me though.

I needed around half of my mana reserves to reincarnate her as a devil even with my upgraded piece.

It goes to show that she was not only strong but had extremely high potential too.

I put a hand on her head as I checked her body for any abnormalities and I couldn't believe what I just felt.

Suzaku, The Vermilion Bird was still inside her.

The connection was not broken.

It is obvious when you think about it. Unlike what people think, Life and Death are not two different things. They are the opposite sides of the same coin. Complementary to each other rather than truly opposite.

Rebirth has no meaning without Death and Light without Darkness. The darkest Shadow exists under the brightest Light.

The Vermilion Bird knows this. It decided to stay inside her because of your connection to me. It knows the relation between me and my sister Life.

….

Wow.

The Shinto Faction won't be happy but now they won't be able to do shit because Suzaku decided this on its own. This will help me mitigate some of the heat coming my way.

I sat back on the ground and thought about the result of today's events.

What did all this end up doing?

Kokabiel is beaten half dead and I have already placed a curse on him which will kill him on my whim. I still need his soul to make an artifact.

I will lock the fucker inside the artifact and make him watch as the peace conference is held and a Treaty of Peace between the Three Factions is signed. I will make him protect that peace using his own powers at the hands of those that he tried to kill today.

That is my revenge.

I did tell him that I would make him wish for Death and that Death would be a mercy to him compared to what I would do to him by the end of all this.

I keep my words after all.

Gabriel was restored to an unfallen state.

Obviously Shun Shun Rikka's powers were revealed. Another thing that I wanted to hide as long as possible.

I can only rely on Michael's fear of the System going down if its existence was revealed.

Uriel, loud as he might be also seemed to know about this and thus quieted down.

Lavinia.

*Sigh* I originally wanted to leave it to others to take care of but Luna intervened.

I know Luna quite well from Harry's memories and my own experience with her.

She may act all air-headed but she knows more of what goes on than most of us do. The only reason she doesn't spread that knowledge is so that it doesn't change her future into something she doesn't know.

The only exceptions are the things that she consciously wants to change.

Like with the case of Hermione. So when she intervened, I knew that I had to save Lavinia because if I can be sure of one thing. It is that Luna Lovegood is my friend.

She holds absolutely no ill intent towards me.

Acting rude towards the Angels might have been due to me being in a bad mood but in hindsight, it might also be something good.

They will leave Lavinia so as to not get me mad after they saw what I can do.

Now the real question was how I get Lavinia in my peerage or at least close to me and lo and behold, the opportunity presented itself.

She said she will do anything didn't she?

I will have her join my peerage or at least Rias' peerage then.

If Mephisto Pheles comes here then he can fuck off.

The others didn't interrupt me from my thoughts because they too probably felt Death's presence when she spoke to me. They probably think that I am talking to her right now.

The only thing that I cannot predict at this moment is what Tobio's reaction will be to Lavinia and Suzaku joining my peerage.

I could care less. I made a deal and if they try to back down from it, I am willing to take measures to get my end of the deal even if I have to use rough means.

I felt a little grip on my arm as I saw Rias hold my arm to her chest and snuggle to my side. I too leaned into her.

I really wish I could just go back to my bed and lie down while holding Rias and let sleep claim me. I am just too tired. Not physically or mentally ….but emotionally. Unfortunately, I still have some work to do.

I turned towards Lavinia and spoke, "You said anything didn't you?"

The Slash Dog team tensed around her.

I could care less about them, in fact I dare them to try and back down from it.

She however had collected herself enough. The curse and then what happened right now must have down a real number on her mind; however she still nodded towards me.

"You can't force her." shouted Kouki Samejima.

I simply turned towards him and spoke in as even of a voice as I could muster, "I am not forcing anyone. I merely made a deal and she agreed to it. It is a reasonable request after all."

"Reasonable? You want her to serve under you for who knows how many years and you think that it is reasonable?" his voice grew louder with each word.

Vali shuffled in his place but didn't say any words. I think he is still hesitant because I saved Lavinia from being persecuted just now and then I revived Tobio.

I guess he is holding his opinion on this matter.

"Yes." I calmly answered.

"YOU….."

I cut off his rant before it could continue though.

"I don't think you understand what I just did here." I started as I looked toward Tobio's sleeping form. "I used MY life, a full life and not just some life force to bring him back for this deal. A life of my own for her to serve me in my peerage is a perfectly reasonable deal. Moreover, she herself decided to do this. Who the fuck are you to interrupt the deal? Are you insinuating that my life is not worth that much or could it be that now that he is revived, you are planning to back down from the deal?" I added with a hint of steel in my voice.

"I will join you." came the voice of Lavinia from behind the group.

Everyone looked towards her.

"I promised that I will do anything so I will join you. You kept your end of the deal." she said with conviction.

"Sure. I will wait for you at my house tomorrow." I looked towards the others and finished, "I am quite tired from all this. If you have any questions can we save it till the next time? I need some time to rest right now. If you want to know what happened in the fights, Meredith can provide you with the recordings. We made sure to cover the territory with cameras to catch any hint of the enemies. Jibril, handover Kokabiel to Azazel."

"It is fine Shin-kun. You and the rest can go and rest for now. Rias-chan, take him inside. You have all fought a battle much above anything you should have been allowed to participate in due to our mistakes. We will take care of everything this time." Serafall came forward while Sirzechs nodded too.

I looked towards Shuri and Akeno, "Take her and see that she rests well." I said while pointing towards Suzaku.

I directly Shadow walked to my bedroom with Rias as Sakuya and the rest soon followed.

It is around 4 am right now. I really hope that they will take care of whatever mess is left there. We all went to our rooms where Rias and Sakuya followed me.

Without any extra words, we undressed as we reached our rooms and headed for a bath.

I really like this silence right now. The two girls know this as well.

No words are spoken as I stand under the shower, as a pair of hands wrap around my chest from behind me. Rias presses her breasts against my back as she rubs her face against the top of my back.

Sakuya takes the front and uses soap to wash my chest.

The cold water running on our bodies does wonders for my exhausted mind and I slowly wrap my hand around the two of them and enter the bathtub to relax.

Today I made many mistakes.

My calculations were inadequate and that almost led to a Great War.

What was the reason for this?

Did I grow overconfident knowing the strength of my peerage and my own self?

Maybe, I can't deny that I did have that thought at the back of my mind.

Was I too hung up on my canon knowledge?

Obviously.

I realized this when Lavinia stabbed Gabriel that I had completely missed that probability because some part of my mind had been reassured by my previous knowledge of the world.

Even though The Game had said it already that this was not the same world. There were many differences.

It was obvious when I saw the army that Kokabiel had brought along with him that things had changed.

I was still assured because I knew that such an army can easily be taken care of by our peerages. Totally failing to realize that if such a change can happen then so can others too.

The person that I faced today was not a dumb second arc villain from an anime. It was someone who had fought against God and the Satans in the Great War and yet I was acting like a fool.

If I didn't have Merlin and he in his desperation had blasted off the whole town?

Sure I could have survived and maybe even resurrected the others over time but…. there would have been a war for sure.

If I didn't have the Shun Shun Rikka, there still would have been a war.

I clenched my fists tightly as I realized exactly how lucky I was that things just ended up as they did today.

Even our current level of strength is not enough.

Kokabiel wouldn't have dared to attack us if I had been a Super Devil.

I need to speed things up by a bit.

I Have to clear things here before I can start concentrating on my strength.

Game, what is the requirement for World Jumps.

Complete the Wizarding World part. It will be considered completed when you fulfill the prophecy.

So Tom has to die.

Sure.

So be it.

What will happen to this world when I go to a different world?

The time here will stop. Later on when you decide which one will be your hub world, only the time in that world will move while you do world jumps. You cannot do further world jumps or come back to this world unless you complete a quest in that world.

It seems fair enough.

Honestly this place is not safe enough to be my hub world.

Too many OP beings for me to rest easily.

Anyways, I need to complete the wizarding world before that.

I had been putting it off for a while because I wanted him to cause as much damage as he could to the wizarding world before I did the work. Those fuckers needed to be brought down a peg or two.

Maybe it is time to take matters into my own hands. Enough of playing passive.

"Rias."

"Hmm."

"I want to finish the matters in the wizarding world after this. I need to complete the prophecy as soon as possible."

"Did something happen there?" she asked, a little worried.

"No. I just have to complete those things fast. I only need to destroy the last two Horcruxes and finish off Riddle. You can do whatever you want with the rest." I answered.

"Okay. I will take care of the rest."

I had to tell her this because Rias was extremely adamant on dealing with the wizarding world herself. She didn't like my no shit given attitude towards the wizarding world people. I honestly didn't have any complaints with them. It is not like they tortured 'me'. If anything, it was only because Harry died that I was able to take his body.

She however had been angry since the day we read my file that Serafall gave us.

Hermione is in it as well. More because of her own reasons.

Those fuckers really did pull a number on her.

I heard later from Rias that the only reason she was left a virgin was because she was to be used in a ritual.

She has been out for blood since then and who am I to interfere in that.

Fuckers who say revenge isn't the answer are mostly hypocrites or someone that hadn't had something really bad happen to them.

I will leave the revenge part to them.

I just need to take care of the Horcruxes and then Tom.

My Shadow Servants have been providing me with enough information even now.

A simple Shadow Servant inside Snape and Draco's shadows which was passed on to Lucius' own shadow and I have an eye on the inner circle of Tom's minions at all times.

The light faction has been suffering many casualties due to their only stunners rule. It is like they are trying to make it easier for me to wipe them out.

In a way I can understand the no stunner rule. It was actually started to help save those who were actually under Imperius. The DEs could just send innocent people towards the enemies and they would have died if the enemies used any lethal spells. A win-win for them.

However this point was twisted into something retarded by Dumbles and now it has resulted in this whole mess.

"I know about the location of the Horcruxes. One is with Riddle and the other is….Alex Potter."

"I will kill him then." Rias quickly said.

"I will not kill him. I will just remove the piece of Riddle's soul from his body and leave him as it is. You and Hermione are free to kill him if you want."

"Okay."

"I will leave the rest to you."

With those words said, silence prevailed again inside the room.

- Sirzechs –

Sirzechs took the cup of tea given to him by Grayfia as he thought about the events of this day.

It was a miracle that he was discussing the terms of a peace conference instead of preparing for another Great War.

When he had heard the news of the attack on Kuoh, his heart was struck in his throat with anxiety.

It would have taken them around an hour to reach that place and that would have been enough for someone like Kokabiel with an army to completely wipe the entire town out let alone a small group of devils.

Shin and his peerage were strong from what he had seen and heard but as far as he knew, Shin was only an Eight Winged Devil. Sure he had his artifacts and potions but they would only do so much in case of an attack from an army.

Gabriel, he didn't know what her actual stance was and he wouldn't have trusted her to put the life of his sister above others.

The Slash Dog team were simple children.

And then there were the Grim Reapers.

Overall it was easy to say that he was thanking the Satans that this clusterfuck ended as simply as it did.

"That Jibril girl sure doesn't hold back." came the voice of Azazel as it broke him from his thoughts.

The Flügel sure doesn't know the meaning of holding back. He had heard about her from Serafall. An angel from another world. The headaches his new brother-in-law brings is beyond anything Sirzechs could imagine. At the very least this time one of the said headaches helped save the life of his sister.

He watched as the Flügel wiped the floor with Pluto, the Strongest Grim Reaper in existence who was even enhanced using 'its' power and yet he was erased as if a mere insect.

Now that was another problem. Why would 'it' interfere with all this?

No one knows what the Infinity thinks and that in itself is troublesome.

"Yes. Jibril-chan is stronger than me. I knew that already but had no idea how strong she actually was." Serafall said cheerfully. She was probably the only one who had any idea about the result of this farce today.

She was after all the one who coordinates with Shin all the time.

"I will have to point out that the other children had fought equally well. Although not as strong as Jibril-dono, their contribution cannot be denied at all." said Michael joining in the conversation.

Yes. That was true after all.

Who knew Rias had reached 'this' level of strength so fast. He had heard from his mother that she had started training seriously since Shin came into her life but didn't think that she would make this kind of progress. It honestly filled his heart with pride watching his adorable little sister grow up into such a bright young woman. He watched the screen with a smile on his face. Maybe her marrying Shin wasn't as bad as he had thought earlier if this helped her grow so much. Also maybe it was time he too started meeting and getting to know his brother-in-law better.

"I never knew that Holy Lightning could be used in this way. I wonder what Barakiel will think about this when he sees the videos?" Azazel said while thinking.

"We can keep watching this after we discuss the terms of the peace treaty. It is clear that many things were going on in the background of this battle for us to ignore. The involvement of Ophis alone puts us in an extremely dire situation. The Infinity could wipe out our entire races if it wanted. We have no idea if it did this on a whim or due to a plan. This needs to be addressed as soon as possible."

"I might have some ideas about it." Azazel said, drawing the attention of the others towards him. "I have heard that Ophis has been collecting people to make an organization of her own. Magicians, Fallen Angels, Devils, Angels and even Gods and other races are being recruited into the organization. I have no idea about the goals because my informants haven't infiltrated deep enough yet but when such people gather together, nothing good happens."

….now that was worrying news.

What exactly was Ophis planning?

"Angels! Are you sure Azazel that Angels are involved?" asked a surprised Michael.

"Yes. Heaven's System is not as perfect as it used to be. I would not be surprised if many Angels found loopholes to escape falling and joined the organization on their own."

It is just one thing after another.

Michael slumped down in his chair looking completely defeated. He could honestly feel pity for the poor man. Having to bear all that workload on top of this mess and not to mention the church. It was a miracle in itself that he hadn't fallen yet.

"The interference of Hades points out that he might be a part of that organization as well. It is extremely troubling to think that someone who detests the Three Factions is now associated with Ophis." said Uriel who had calmed down considerably since the start of the day.

Shin's comment about Lucifer must have hit harder than he could have imagined.

"Shin said that he will take care of Hades so I think we should leave it to him. I trust that he knows what he is doing." he said as others looked towards him.

"Who is this Boss Lady that he speaks of Sirzechs?" Michael asked, a little curious.

….now that is troublesome.

"….that is not my place to tell. I can just tell you that it will be better for Shin to handle this matter as he is the most suitable person for it."

Michael understood that he would not get any information about this matter so he left it at that.

Smart man.

"I think deciding about a formal peace conference as soon as Kokabiel is dealt with should be our first priority. I originally wanted to freeze him myself but….now after watching the condition he is in right now, I am of half a mind that he should be left as it is to suffer for the rest of his existence." said Serafall frostily.

"We can all agree on that. Your brother-in-law did quite a number on him. Honestly it was scary because that was the only video feed we didn't get due to the black gas covering the entire barrier. However looking at the result of the battle, it is easy to say that it was completely one sided." commented Azazel.

That it was.

Scary was not the correct word for it. It was more on the lines of terrifying especially for those who know of Shin's original connection and patron.

He could just imagine the clusterfuck he would have to face when the news reaches Ajuka and Zekram.

It was already decided that the powers of Rias, Shin and their peerages will be understated for now. They still have room to grow so it is better if their true powers are hidden so as to not attract unwanted attention towards them. Gabriel and the Slash Dog Team will be given credit for this battle.

Well he will manage it when he goes back. For now, he had to pull another all-nighter for world peace.

- Suzaku –

Suzaku opened her eyes to see an unfamiliar ceiling above her. It was only a moment later that the events from before came rushing in her head.

An Eight Winged Fallen Angel had gotten across their defense and had thrown a light spear at her at the cost of his own life before self-detonating himself for the diversion. She was still a bit shaken from Lavinia's attack and Tobios death.

It had succeeded too because she could clearly remember the light spear tearing a hole through her neck and almost tearing her head off from her body.

She should have been dead, so why is she still alive?

As this thought crossed her mind, her eyes snapped open as she rose from her bed in a quick movement.

Reviving after dying?

There were very few ways that could be possible but the most common was ….reincarnating as a devil.

She looked towards her body and then closed her eyes to feel her magic and sure enough it was completely chaotic unlike the smooth and calming spiritual powers that her clan practiced. She had turned into a devil.

Thousands of thoughts ran through her mind. What is going to happen to her? Who was it that revived her? What happened to Lavinia and Tobio? Where was she?

"It seems that you woke up Suzaku-chan?" came a soft voice from the room as the door opened and Shuri entered the room.

"Shuri oba-sama….who?" she could barely form words.

"It was Shin-kun who brought you back to life on my request. I couldn't see my family die and requested him to bring you back." Shuri said softly.

"I….what happened to Tobio?" she could barely ask as thoughts filled her mind again.

"Tobio-kun is alive too. Shin brought him back to life as well." Shuri said though her tone carried a hint of sorrow that she could not understand.

"Is he a devil too?" she hazarded a thought.

"No. He had been dead for a long while so Evil Pieces couldn't work on him. He was brought back by Shin-kun's magic?" Shuri answered.

"Then why couldn't he do the same for me?" She, even though grateful couldn't hide the bitterness in her voice. If Shin had the power to bring back Shuri and Tobio as Humans then why not her? What did he want from her? She had noticed that all the members in his peerage were women? Could it be that she was going to be….

Her thoughts were cut off by Shuri hugging her as she spoke.

"It was not that he didn't want to. He was originally going to do just that but others requested him to bring back Tobio too. The magic that Shin used has a great cost that even I didn't know till now. He is too kind to put that burden on anyone by telling them about it. Shin due to the deity that he serves had extra lives. Two extra lives. It was so that even if he died, he could be resurrected and could live on. He used one of those lives to bring me back and thus had only one life left. Tobio had been dead for a long while so he couldn't be brought back with the Evil Pieces while you could. It was the only way for the two of you to live." Shuri slowly explained everything to her.

It took her a few moments to process what had actually been said.

Giving up his own life to bring someone back?

Did he really give up his own life to bring her Aunt and Tobio back?

Even in her bitterness, Suzaku was someone raised to be the Clan Head of The Himejima Clan so she could understand the gravity of the situation and the debt that she held towards someone like that.

"Where are the others?" she whispered slowly.

"They are all resting. It was a very exhausting day for everyone. Suzaku-chan," Shuri suddenly said, making her look at her, "Please don't hate Shin-kun. It was only due to my request that he did this. He had already paid a price that no one had any right to ask him for but if you hate him for this, I personally wouldn't be able to live with myself. You are like a daughter to me, just like Akeno. I have taught you everything myself. I couldn't see you dying so I forced my selfishness on him. It is not his fault."

….

Suzaku could only be silent and listen to it.

On one hand her heart was really warmed by the care and affection of her aunt and on the other she could feel a little pity towards Shin who was dragged into all this. Even though she was still a little bitter about being turned into a devil, it was still abated to a large extent.

She was not sure how to face him anymore.

It was at that moment that she felt a warmth in her body and her eyes widened.

Her body glowed and a small bird of fire formed in front of her.

….

Suzaku was still inside her body.

How?

Suzaku would never associate with someone tainted as Devils were? It was impossible for it to remain bonded to her after she was reincarnated as a devil. It was one of the main reasons that she resented Shin for turning her into a devil even if it wasn't fair to him. It was because she lost her best friend due to it.

But Suzaku was still inside her.

She felt Suzaku sending its thoughts to her as she closed her eyes and conversed with it.

Shuri, knowing what was going on stepped back a little and left the two to their own conversation.

Thoughts and information about Life, Death and Rebirth came to her mind and Suzaku explained why it was here even though she was a devil.

It was going to be a long night for everyone.

Although she was sure of one thing by the end of it. Shin actually helped her and she owes him a debt for it.

A debt that she will repay even if she had to work her whole life for it.

I turned towards my side and hugged Rias tighter as I read the message.

So she woke up.

Author's Note :-

I am sorry that this chapter was extremely delayed. I have had a huge workload for the past few weeks.

It is going to be the same for one more week after which I will have more free time.

I had to stop a lot of time during this chapter so if you feel a change of pace in the chapter at times, please ignore.

It was more or less the conclusion chapter.

Again, it might seem that things are over and that nothing of any importance happened in this attack but you couldn't be more wrong.

We will see the real consequences of this battle soon enough.

Hades is going to feel the consequence the best.

For Shin, it was a lesson to not be lax.

I personally think that when he started this world, he was playing this as a game.

As time goes on, he will realize that it is not that simple.

I want him to experience character growth.

This was a minor hiccup on his way to greatness that would help him grow.

I know many people would have wanted some permanent effect to make him realize this but to all those I have only a few words to say…..fuck off. If you want that go and write your own story.

Did Shin take advantage of Lavinia and Suzaku?

Yes he did.

So what.

He could tear out the Sacred Gears from others but couldn't take advantage of Lavinia and Suzaku? Whatever gave you that idea?

As for what will happen with Tobio or if they are a part of his harem or not or what I am not giving all the girls equal time.

You have to understand that there needs to be situations that will bring the other girls close to Shin. I have events planned for that. I can't just write BS to get everyone into his bed in two chapters. That is exactly what I have been trying to avoid since the very start.

So for those who want Meredith and Morgiana, please wait a while. They will have their own turn. I have barely gotten to Akeno and Kuroka right now.

Lavinia and Suzaku will need a lot more work than that.

And finally for the foreshadowing.

Yeah, we are going to handle the wizarding world next.

Shin has decided to speed things up because he finally realized that villains in this world are not as foolish as he expected them to be.

We will get into the wizarding world arc after which we will be having our first world jump.

The Peace Conference, I haven't decided if it will be before or after the world jump.

I will wing it as I write.

Anyways I am exhausted right now. I have been forced to put this chapter off many times due to all the work I am getting out of nowhere.

Finally feels awesome to get it over with.

So enjoy the chapter.

Good Day, Peace Out.
