Chapter 44 - Circus Troupe 44: Foolishness

"Woah! Woah! Let's calm down for a minute!" Marric stepped in between Klein and Sharron, the tension in the room was seriously dangerous, not only Sharron carry most of it, even with Reinette who's trying to suppress her student, was having a hard time due to the fact she have had yet to fully recover to her original strength.

"Move Marric, I'm not gonna ask a second time!" Sharron's eyes was piercing cold and sharp daggers, Marric could feel his back sweating just from defending Klein.

"Calm... Down." Reinette tried to hold down Sharron by suppressing her with her own spirituality, but Sharron was able to fight back using also her own spirituality.

The room's was entering a state of rotting and withering, the nearby chairs was distingerating, the lights going out, making the room dark.

(I'm a fucking dumbass, why did I blurt it out!) Not only did he made her cried twice, but now, he made her mad, also twice, shit.

"Wait, Sharron, let's calm down, I can explain!"

"Shut your trap, I have had enough of your foolishness! How much do you want to make me suffer, I seriously like you, but you- you never answered me back, am I perhaps the real foolish one? Why did I fall for such a man in the first place? First, that damn slut, now, my teacher? Why should I consider you now of all times?!" Her voice was loud and piercing, every word sting Klein's core, as if his heart was being stabbed by a knife.

"If I knew it would've come to this, I would've never wanted to meet you in the first place, it disgust me to tell myself that the person I fell for would be so repulsive!" Out of nowhere, her boiling reached it's peak.

In a fit of moment, she swiped her hand to remove Marric from defending Klein.

Crash

"Urgh!"

Marric's shoulder's became dislocated, as he got thrown to the tables, crashing.

"Sharron, stop this!" Upon seeing this, Klein became even more worried.

Now, she's even hurting her best friend.

"So what, didn't I say the same thing too last night, but you keep thrusting you hips fucking those two other sluts!" She suddenly throw another punch, but it was aimed at Sherlock, she seems to have lost all reason.

Sherlock managed to evade somehow, if not for his great sense of danger, he would've probably been struck by now, and receiving it from a puppet would be catastrophic on his part.

"Please, stop!"

"Stop moving, idiot!" She tried to hit him over and over to take out her anger.

But Klein kept dodging on a hair's breath.

Reinette dashed to Marric to help him.

Sharron kept on and on with her words of spite, every word she said carried extreme weight of prejudice and unjust hate.

Klein listened attentively, as if she was making a sermon, every bit hurt him.

He considered Sharron a great friend, although he considers her to be a very attractive person, the idea of being with someone like her never properly crossed her mind, and they we're simply business partners and friends at best, if anything, he wanted to be a person she could trust more than anyone, for he values their relationship.

But then, taking in all the words she keep spewing out, in spite, full of hate, and insults towards Klein.

Looking back.

Klein's actions these past few days have been nothing but a lot of indulgent act on his part, it was a combination of him and other people fulfilling each other's desires and curiosity.

Other times, it was really him just pushed enough into a corner so he could agree, Klein didn't have that much problem on that part, so with that, he never really have that much to be a part of, responsibilities he should and must handle, and now, with the current situation.

"Foolish? Foolish you say?" Klein's voice suddenly turned cold as if he is some other person.

"Huh?" Sharron's demeanour and complexion suddenly took wary, as if the person in front of her was not Sherlock, but someone else instead.

Approaching him very fast, her strengthened fist was coming in close to Klein's face.

However.

"Tell me, Sharron, when did you assume you became my responsibility?"

The moment he said those words, Sharron's fist stop just at the right moment, just right in front of him.

Those words was uttered with utter coldness and indifference, Klein used his Gehrman persona to said those words while bearing the face Sharron would be familiar with, yet she found the person in front of her akin to a stranger.

His deduction and assumption, Klein made the act to help her for she might be in need of assistance and help, to think there's a hidden reason for that, that she never properly confessed and told him, so currently, right now, she being unable to take the repercussions of her past inactions, the irresponsibility on her part, it seems to come back biting on her, in the form of Klein retaliating.

But can you blame her, isn't foolishness a natural progression and reaction?

Sharron's feelings sank, as the man's view towards of her suddenly shifted to a whole different degree she never expected would come.

She then gritted her teeth, clenched her hand tightly, in a bid to say something back, her mind stopped for a moment.

She was lost, unable to say anything.

The level of repulsion she suddenly undertook in hit her hard, coming to a realization, she was suddenly helpless.

Her tremble of anger suddenly turned to fear, not out of danger, but of abandonment.

Sharron thought that she might've gone a little bit too much on her part, from the fact she might've been obsessed to the point she would openly declare fights against other women for being close with him, to threatening Sherlock himself.

She was utterly foolish, as her eyes that was in full rage since earlier, slowly became solemn, sinking, looking down upon, unable to look Sherlock in the eyes.

If she said her intentions firsthand, she might've already have him before the others could, but the damage was already done.

(Crap, I messed up!) But Klein himself also thought that he himself might've gone too far, as he might be on a certain degree, not so innocent either.

Betraying her by doing her teacher, people would be repulsed themselves when they hear that.

(Should I continue, I don't know what I should really do, but, if this is what's for the best.) Klein then stopped himself to ponder in a short amount of time, and came to a decision.

"It appears our relationship might not be at it's best right now, I think I should leave if that makes you better, I'm sorry for interrupting your time." Klein then made a small bow before leaving the establishment.

Sharron was frozen, standing in the middle like a statue, her whole state speaks nothing of but defeat and idiotic tendency ever since, with the punishment already etched into her.

Whether that be right course or not, it be always up to you to make the final decision.
