A seemingly normal boy named Luke is reborn into the colorful but dangerous world of Pokémon.

He has a rather peculiar companion in his new life: a "Hero System."

But this is no ordinary system. 

The task assign by the system are anything but reassuring.

When the legendary birds are angered and threaten the world, the system task luke to use his "bromance" to calm them down. 

Later, as Groudon and Kyogre rampaging through the Hoenn region, he's told to use his "muscular body" to stop their rampage.

And when Arceus, the creation god, misinterprets human actions and plans to destroy the world, Luke is tasked with influencing it with his "pure soul."

Every time, the utter ridiculousness of the task given by the system always bring a distressed Luke to tears.

He quickly realizes that this system is not a usual "hero system," it's more accurately a "Suicide system" – constantly putting him in situations where heroes traditionally "die young."

Luke finds himself stuck with this bizarre system, navigating the dangerous Pokémon world with a constant sense of impending doom and a System that seems determined to get him killed, or at least, severely distressed.
