Ren opened his eyes. He quickly woke up and started looking around.
'Strange, where am I. Last night wasn't I playing pokemon go.... Oh no!!! What happened to that Arcues which I spotted when I was walking back from my work.'
He started searching for his mobile on the bed but he couldn't find it and then he also realized that he is not in his home.
'Ahh... where am I? '
He tried remembering and soon he clutched his head.
'Ren Glimore'
'Beasts'
'Taming?'
Lots of memories which were already present in his brain but he didn't know them overwhelmed him.
After a minute of headache and another minute of processing those, he finally understood.
'So I reincarnated huh.. '
Calmly he came out of his bed. Stood in front of the mirror which was hanged to his cupboard.
He looked at his reflection analyzing his features even though he knew it all from his memories.
'Hmm.. Black hair, black eyes , avg height, normal looking body size. Fine'
Then he opened his cupboard , started searching around some of his possessions and after that he sat back on his bed.
'Haah reincarnation.....
Well I always wanted to reincarnate but not like this. I wanted to live my full life and at the end of it I should have reincarnated then it would have been good.
Well no matter I have read lot of novels, it always happens at critical moment of your life.

Ren comforted himself on his bed and started looking towards his sealing still thinking.

"Hey Ren are you still asleep? We need to go for breakfast quickly? Don't you know we have an early lecture today"
"Yes coming, you can go forward I will be right there in some time"

Ren knew it was Rio, so he quickly got up to get freshen up to go outside.

Ren is not type of person who has many "good" friends and Rio also is of same category. So they hang out with each other lot of times. Having a good friend always helps.
Ren sat on the table in front of him for breakfast.
"Quickly finish it, many had already left"
Rio said excitedly as he completed his breakfast.
"So what's so special about today's class anyway? "
Ren even with his new memories still couldn't remember why it was scheduled so early and why Rio of all people who was always lazy for going to class this excited.
"Did you forget? Today's the day when professional tamer is going to arrive in town. We have already completed our first year and before second starts we will be starting our tamer life. He will oversee the process."
"Oh !! "
'So that's what it was'
Ren said without any excitement. It was not that he didn't want to become tamer, it's just that he can't.
He is 9 years old and just one day left until he becomes 10 year. This is the age around which everyone starts there taming life by taming their first beast. But for him this dream has long gone 5 years ago when his talent was measured and it was very low. It would be miracle if he can even tame one beast.
'I should find some other profession as soon as possible'
he compled his breakfast and both of them started going to the assigned arena.

They arrived in the arena which was same as football stadium just 3 times bigger in every dimension.
He has visited it before but for Ren who just reincarnated seeing it still amazed him. Building such thing was not difficult in his previous life. It's just that it didn't have any practical application.
Both joined their group of classmates who were waiting for the instructors to arrive.
In some time 2 instructors arrived with a man who looked like a athlete. With good height and muscles just by looking at him you could tell he is powerful and confident.
Instructor started introducing...
"As everyone has gathered know, this is our today's guest overseers, he is also a pass out from this academy and a advance tamer now."
"Now one by one each of you will come in front as I call your name, you will be summoning your beasts"
Saying that a portal appeared besides him and a big frog, 6 foot tall with green color , yellow strips and red eyes appeared from the portal.
"Nail !! "
Instructor called the first one.
"You know the steps right, first open the portal and summon the beast"
Nail nodded and started concentrating on one point in front of him.
It didn't take long and a small black portal started appearing in front of him.
The portal with time grew bigger and bigger until it's radius increased upto 2 meters and then as it stopped from it a wolf like creature came out.
The wolf looked confused, started looking here and there but as it's eyes fell on the frog it froze on the spot.
"Now... Start the taming ritual !! "
Hearing instructor Nail nervously started creating a new portal again, this time it was a white portal as it appeared
"Ribbit!! "
Hearing the frog, the wolf looked unwilling but still with fear entered the white portal and then the portal was closed.
'Hmm.. So that's how it is, even with memories I haven't seen it happen, so everyone can summon the beast with one portal which a person has created and then make the beast who appeared from that portal to enter the other taming portal.
But I thought after summoning the person should make good bond with beast before let it enter the taming portal, what's the point of naming it taming then? will it even hear his orders'
Ren thoughts were interrupted as the instructor cleared his doubts unknowingly.
"As you have seen and learned during first year, from the summoning portal he summoned the beast, looking at the beast can anyone guess what it was? "
Silence... filled the air. It was not that they didn't studied the identification of beast. But just knowing the description doesn't help much when you see a random beast got summoned and you are seeing it for first time.
In silence two hands were raised, looking them instructor was not surprised as if he expected it.
"Ok Allen you can answer first this time"
"Looking at the beast it was a wolf like creature, by looking at it's dark color I can say it's an shadow wolf "
He said confidently feeling proud after giving his answer.
"You were close but wrong, Ria you can answer"
Ria who looked like a smart type studious and eager to answer quickly started explanining.
"From the out looks it really had dark fur but as I closely looked it also had red straps which signifies it's potential in Fire. So it might be a dual element but I think it's a fire wolf."
"Correct , as Ria explaned. Everytime when you are doing identification you must watch every detail without overlooking or you will miss judge and will pay the price if you are it's opponent."
Ria had a smirk on her face as she looked at Allen. Which Allen didn't like for sure.
"Now as we studied , once potential of summoning is determined by the size of portal one can open. As big portals can summon bigger beasts and small portal restricts your chances as it can't summon bigger beasts than it can fit."
"As you saw Nail has portal with roughly 2m radius. Which can be said to be an average size. His potential is average."
Nail sighed hearing it.
"But don't be discouraged , it you can summon an higher ranking beast or a not grown beast , you will have very good chance of entering into advance even in "
"The beast you summoned before a fire wolf is a good first bond. It will make your academic life easier. It can also grow until intermediate rank as it evolves."
Hearing it Nail became excited again. He felt like he can again have a dream of becoming top tamer. In excitement he asked
"When can I summon another beast to tame? "
"You shouldn't hurry. Summoning beast takes a lot of energy. You need to atleast wait for a month. And eventhough you summoned the beast you will not be able to tame it as you just entered in Novice rank where you can store one beast in taming space."
"Thank you instructor"
Saying this he returned to his position.
"Ok next"
Same as before one by one each student went opened the portal , a random beast came out of it and then the beast intimidated by the Frog entered the taming portal.
And then came Ria's turn. As she started forming her portal her portal grew bigger and bigger even surpassing the size of frog and from something shot like ice cannon ball in the air, making the arena cooler.
As everyone looked at it they all recognized that beast. It was a bird with icecles on it;s feathers, it looked female and majestic.
Ren quickly thought it was a Articuno but quickly realized that it was not as it's lot of features were missing like , it;s size was definitely smaller, It didn't have that long blue tail and crown on his head. But other than these it definitely looked similar.
Seeing it everyone froze on the spot , even the instructors and the frog looked like it stopped croacking midway also froze in fear looking at the bird.
The Adavanced Tamer seeing the situation quickly opened his portal from it a giant serpant atleast 10m long with purple color came out. With it's entrance the staring confrontation started between those two.
Even if the Serpant looked ferociuos the bird didn't have any ounce of fear. After staring at it for a while it's eye went on to looking at Ria. After seeing her it gave nod.
"Quickly open your taming portal."
Advanced profession instructed , he also looked nervous.
Ria with her not steady legs somehow concentrated and opened her portal and the bird quickly entered in it.
After the portal closed atmosphere calmed down. Even instructors sighed.
"Every once in a while such occurence occures for talented indivisuals with such big portals. High ranked beast get summoned. Hence we need professionals tamers assistance while summoning anything".
"Ria was lucky that such high ranked bird accepted her voluntiarly or big fight would have broken out."
Ria hearing it was very happy as if it was her most lucky day. Other students on the other hand who participated before her were depressed seeing the large difference between her beast and their beast power.
"Ok next. Allen"
Allen came forward with confidence and started opening his portal.
His portal also got as big as Ria and from it came a beast which looked like lion cub.
It looked like confused first but quickly composed itself, even in the presence of the big snake it didn't back down.
It was not it's power but it's courage.
After the standoff for while it also entered the taming portal.
"Next Ren.. "
'Oh it's my turn now'
Ren quickly went to the spot and started concentrating. He knew the results but nothing could be done
A small portal formed in front of him.

..
The portal remained small. It was so small even his fist can't pass through it.
..
All look studdnned at the sight. Instructors were same. One of them even said frustratingly
"What are you doing, concentrate more, increase it's size, how will you summon a beast with such small size"
'I also want to do that'
Ren sighed as he recalled the same experience from back then.
As time passed some students got the situation and started laughing.
"Are you for real, that's the best you can do"
"I knew he was trash didn't knew his talent was also trash"
"I didn't even know who he is"
"What will even come out of that portal some worm"
As these talks going on suddenly a worm fell out of the portal.
SILENCE....
"Hahaha"
"I really have a foresight, you come here I will tell your future"
In this commotion Ren was most surprised.
'What something really came out?? '
He quickly formed his taming portal and captured the worm by his hand and threw it inside the portal.
Instructors even the professional were surprised seeing this. Thinking even fool didn't do that.
But they composed themselves and asked the routine.
"Students did you identified which beast was it"
"A lower grade earth worm"
Allen shouted..
"Correct"
Instructor sighed.
"Hahaha it is was really that, I just guessed by its size"
"Well now that I think about it, earthworms are really good for fertile lands, Ren can now become the best farmer in the word"
Even in such a mockery Ren still looked happy as he returned to his position.
Rio seeing him tried consoling him.
"I know you are smart, you can still become good in other professions. "
"I know"
Ren sighed. But from inside he was still happy forming his first bond.
