Chapter 23 - Chapter 23 – A House with Dreams

The first rays of dawn broke through the window as Darren flipped through real estate listings on his phone.

The system had already filtered properties fitting his budget — and his dream criteria: a house with a pool, plenty of space for his mother and Aria, and in a safe, welcoming neighborhood.

He jotted down three promising options:

A spacious three-bedroom with a small pool and garden in a quiet suburb.

A newly renovated four-bedroom with a modest pool but close to schools and shops.

A luxurious five-bedroom mansion with a large pool—but well beyond his current budget.

Darren sighed. The mansion was tempting, but he had to be practical. Every penny spent now was a strategic investment.

Later that day, he visited the first house with his mother and sister. The garden was neat, the pool sparkling under the afternoon sun. Aria's eyes lit up.

"Mom, imagine us swimming here every day!" she exclaimed.

His mother smiled warmly. "It's beautiful. But what about the neighborhood? Is it safe?"

Darren pulled up the neighborhood's safety stats on his system.

[Neighborhood Crime Rate: Low]

[School Quality: Above Average]

[Community Growth Index: Positive]

He nodded. "This place checks out."

Over the next few days, they toured the second option, noting the proximity to amenities. It felt more convenient, but the pool was smaller than Aria hoped.

Throughout, Darren juggled business calls and system missions. The rebate system quietly added to his funds each day, making the dream home seem more attainable.

One evening, as they sat down for dinner, Darren shared his thoughts.

"We can't rush. I want this house to be a fresh start for us all. Somewhere safe, happy."

His mother squeezed his hand. "We trust you, Darren. You've already done so much."

The system alerted him:

[Rebate Bonus: +£150,000 credited.]

[New Mission: Finalize house purchase and plan renovations.]

That night, Darren stared at the stars beyond the window.

A new chapter was about to begin — one where his family could finally breathe easy.
