NOTE: In this story, Ash, Gary, and others begin their journey the very same day as Julian's start. They are all 16 years old. Ash attended Professor Oak's Pokémon School in Pallet Town from the age of 6 until he turned 16. His classmates included Gary, Green, Bianca, Cheren, Chloe, Dawn, Hinda, May, Paul, Silver, Rosa, Shauna, Trevor, Wally, and Yellow, all of whom are the same age as Ash. Additionally, Ash spent a year as a transfer student in Alola. Now that school has ended, they are waiting for their starter Pokémon so they can embark on their journeys.
As Julian says his goodbyes and turns to leave, he plans to head to Viridian Forest first. He wants to catch some Pokémon and train them for his upcoming battles, starting with Brock, the Gym Leader of the Pewter Gym.
While riding his bike on the way to the forest, Julian considers which Pokémon he should catch. Over the past month, he has trained his Bulbasaur extensively, improving his speed, defence, and attack. He has also taught him some physical moves as well as some special attacks.

Julian possessed the unique ability of Aura, a gift that had been bestowed upon him. He could sense and utilize the purest form of aura, having mastered its abilities during his childhood. His aura had developed to such an extraordinary level that it could be described as omniforce, the fundamental force that makes up the entire universe, encompassing every atom and molecule.
Omniforce is present in minimal quantities throughout nature, and it is primarily wielded by a select few legendary Pokémon. No Pokémon in the world, except for Arceus, has access to such a vast amount of omniforce—perhaps even more than Julian himself. While standard Pokémon cannot harness omniforce, a very limited number of legendary Pokémon can.
In addition to omniforce, Julian had the capacity to use psychic powers, heal Pokémon, create barriers, read minds, sense emotions, and perceive life, much like sage mode. However, God had placed significant limitations on his powers to prevent their misuse. As a result, Julian could only access his abilities to a very restricted extent.
As he rode through the forest, Julian couldn't shake the feeling of missing Daisy and a sense of depression settled over him. He had no idea when he would see her again, which made him frown. The deeper he went into the woods, the more he sensed the presence of various Pokémon, but none seemed to have the potential he was looking for, so he kept riding. Suddenly, he detected a Pokémon with good potential nearby; however, it was in a frightened and troubled state. Julian parked his bike and walked towards the direction of the bushes.
He saw an equine Pokémon with cream-colored fur that resembled a foal/filly. It has brown eyes and triangular ears with reddish interiors. Yellow and reddish-orange flames make up its mane and tail. The mane forms a short crest on top of its head and a short strip down its back to its tail. Additional flames are present behind its elbows and knees.
This was Ponyta. Ponyta got scared seeing Julian and decided to attack.
Ponyta released a very powerful ember on Julian.
Julian released Balbasaur immediately.
Julian, "Use razor leaf to defend against ember."
He could have used petal dance, but it took a large amount of strength from Bulbasaur.
The razor leaves defended against the ember, and a few even hit Ponyta, but they were not effective enough.
Ponyta used Tackle and came running towards Bulbasaur at high speed.
Julian, "Use take down and then mixed powder."
Bulbasaur's takedown was very powerful, and as they collided, Ponyta got pushed back. Then Bulbasaur released some powders from his bulb. As soon as Ponyta inhaled it, he fell asleep.
Mixed powder is a combination move of sleep powder, poison powder and stun pollen, which Bulbasaur and Julian practised.
Julian threw a pokeball and caught Ponyta.
Julia thought, 'Ponyta are very fast Pokémon. Rapidash are even faster. Ponyta also had the ability that whenever it gets hit by fire-type moves, its fire power increases. Its physical attacks are also high. Speed is his real weapon. System show Ponyta's stats.'

Julian was happy that he caught his first Pokémon, but a sudden realisation hit him. According to the Pokedex, Ponyta live in big groups along with several Ponyta. But this little one is alone in the wild and is troubled and scared. Did she get separated from her family and friends?
Julian released Ponyta and fed her some berries, which will heal her from the effect of the powders. As Ponyta recovered, she again seemed worried. Julian made his aura around him calm, warm and friendly. Julian used his aura to speak to Ponyta through telepathy.
Julian, "Hello, little one. Don't worry, let's introduce ourselves. I am Julian, and you just fought against my partner Bulbasaur."
Ponyta was surprised to see a human communicating with her without talking. But she decided to avoid it for now.
Ponyta thought,' This human seems to be kind and has powerful Pokémon. He might help me.'
If Julian focuses on one person for long, then he can read their thoughts, and he read Ponyta's but did not comment.
Ponyta responded, "Hi, I am Ponyta. I need help. Some evil people are kidnapping my family. Please help me, I beg you."
Julian responded, "Don't worry, young one. I will help you. Take me to the place."
Ponyta led Julian to the place. Julian and Ponyta hid behind the bush to observe the scene.
Julian,' There are 6 Rapidash and 3 Ponyta, all of them are in nets. There are 2 people wearing white and an R written on their shirts. And there is a Meowth. Wait, isn't this Team Rocket trio? Now I will have to deal with them and rescue Ponyta's family.'
Julian suddenly emerged from the bushes and said, "Well, well. Look who we have here—the Team Rocket thieves."
The trio was startled to see a tall young man appear out of nowhere. They asked in unison, "Who are you, and why are you here?"
Julian replied, "My identity is unimportant. I am here to rescue those Pokémon. Release them at once."
Jessie noticed how attractive Julian was and felt herself blush. "Well, look at this handsome boy playing the hero. This isn't a playground, but I can offer you a chance to be my knight in shining armor."
Everyone, including Julian, was taken aback. No one expected her to say that. Julian thought, 'Is she actually attracted to me and asking me on a date?' He was shocked but didn't show it. As he took a moment to admire Jessie's figure—her magenta hair, well-built abs, and defined curves—he realized this wasn't the time to get distracted by those thoughts.
Jessie noticed Julian checking her out and blushed even more.
James, oblivious to the exchange, spotted the Ponyta next to Julian and said, "Now that you're here, why don't you hand over your Pokémon peacefully, or we can also use force."
Meowth chimed in, "So, which option do you choose? If I were in your place, I would go with the first option."
Julian replied firmly, "I warn you for the last time, release all of those Pokémon. I wonder how much I could get if I kidnapped you and took you to Officer Jenny in Viridian City."
James shot back, "So you want to go the hard way, huh? You think you're tough? Let's see."
Julian responded confidently, "Let's see how long you can last against my rock-hard willpower."
Jessie blushed once again at his words.
Meowth said, "Imagine if Giovanni boss wants to go out hunting during winter but is feeling cold. Then, out of nowhere, Rapidash comes in, and the boss feels warm and stops shivering. He rides Rapidash and hunts as long as he wants, returning happy. He'll say he enjoyed his day without feeling cold thanks to this Rapidash. Then he'll remember that this Rapidash was gifted to him by Meowth and his friends, and he'll reward us with a promotion." The trio laughed at the thought and prepared to fight.
Julian hadn't expected them to retaliate. Under the influence of his intimidating aura, any other grunt would have fled. It seemed this trio was truly special.
But he would have just laughed off if he would had heard Meowth.
Then they released their Pokémon.
Jessie, "Go Ekans, use tackle on Ponyta."
James, "Go Koffing, use poison gas."
Julian, "Bulbasaur, go, use Power Whip on Koffing. Ponyta, do the attack and counter with tackle."
Koffing was not fast enough to dodge Bulbasaur's attack and was thrown back. Ponyta dodged the attack and countered with a tackle, which sent Arbok flying back.
While both Pokémon were flying back, Julian said, "Ponyta, give them no time to recover, use tackle again, fast. Bulbasaur, be ready to use Leech Seed on both of them at the same time when they both are sent flying back again."
Ponyta sent Koffing and Ekans flying back together, and Bulbasaur used Leech Seed, trapping them both with the vines. They landed on Jessie, James and Meowth.
Julian said," Now Bulbasaur, Razor Leaf, Ponyta, and Ember. Full power, boom, boom, boom."
Both attacks landed and sent the trio flying high in the sky. The trio said, "Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!" and they disappeared.
