Chapter 18 - The Angel Eye!

Clara hesitated as she stood at the edge of the glowing temple.

Her instincts told her to investigate, but another part of her urged caution.

After Few minutes She ultimately chose to remain in guard of us for now.

If there was one thing she had learned from this ordeal it was that the Abyss Tower held dangers far beyond what she had expected. Rushing in blindly could very well mean death.

Turning her gaze toward the two unconscious fiordea Reo and Althea Clara bit her lip hard enough to draw blood. The coppery taste brought her a sense of clarity.

She had always considered herself a prodigy, perhaps the strongest of her generation. But Now...

Without Reo and Althea, she wouldn't have lasted even a Day.

Her golden eyes focused on Althea cold Expression She was interested and curiousity flickering in Clara eyes.

Despite showing E Ranked power.

Althea had defeated a D- ranked Cyclops.

It didn't make sense. How could someone with such low measurable strength produce that kind of overwhelming power? Was there something hidden beneath her aura?

Meanwhile, Reo's body slowly began to recover. His arm regenerated completely, the tissue stitching itself back together under the effects of the potion.

Clara breathed a small sigh of relief and moved to examine his arm more closely.

Tilting her head with innocent curiosity, she continued to study him.

His body wasn't defined in a sculpted way no chiseled abs or flashy muscles

but it had an unmistakable ruggedness. A masculine resilience. She gently pressed her fingers against his chest, feeling the hardness of his frame. Compared to her own soft and polished skin, the difference was striking.

Without realizing it, she had cradled his head in her lap. Her expression softened slightly, a faint smile tugging at her lips. She looked down at him as he lay unconscious, her fingers brushing his hair away from his forehead.

Hours Passed.

Then a soft shift in the air.

Althea stirred.

Her divine, curvaceous form slowly rose from where she lay, stretching her limbs. As she arched her back, her presence seemed to fill the entire area. The moment her Crimson eyes opened, they locked onto Clara.

The two women stared at each other.

No words were exchanged. There was no awkwardness, no embarrassment. Just cold, calculating stares. As if two natural predators had crossed paths. The air itself turned frigid under the weight of their gaze.

Clara blinked, tilting her head innocently, her expression unreadable.

Before either could speak, Althea's gaze shifted toward the temple. Her lips pressed into a thin line she was curious too see such thing.

Althea had not seen The Temple there Before and The waters are Gone She was rather curious what's up with it.

Maybe she was the only one could feel it but it was palpable That Temple was not ordinary Even if she Still have her Former power as a Goddess she would still be interested what is inside.

Just as Clara opened her mouth to say they should wait Reo he stirred his Movement slow.

I groaned as I woke up my mind still hazy from the pain and exhaustion. Everything ached and Very Painfull.

But then I realized I wasn't lying on the ground The surface beneath me was soft… cold yet strangely warm.

As my eyes opened fully I was CD by Clara's emotionless Expression She gently patted my Forehead.

"Are you atleast alright now?" She asked her tone nonchalant but there's a worried tone.

Clara was extremely Greatfull on what Reo had Done saving her.

Caught off guard my face burned shamelessly and quickly coughed trying to shake off the awkwardness as I sat up.

Looking around, I finally laid eyes on the temple.

Built from golden stones that shimmered like sunlight the structure had runes etched into its walls ancient symbols pulsing with unknown power.

A staircase had seemingly formed from nowhere, leading directly to us.

Treasure? A trap? Or perhaps a way out of the Abyss Tower?

The three of us exchanged glances. I was the first to step forward, taking the lead. Clara followed behind, her steps quiet and measured.

Althea brought up the rear, her presence still cold and watchful.

As soon as we crossed the threshold, a wave of energy washed over me. It was nearly maddening pure, concentrated power humming in the air.

Then, the system chimed.

The temple's interior was smaller than expected, with only a single chamber ahead. At its center stood three pedestals, each glowing with A Rank energy.

Before me was a sword with a blue-scaled blade and a deep navy handle. Its surface shimmered like rippling water.

To the right a necklace, pulsating gently, a mystic aura swirling within its crystal core.

To the left an eye perfectly preserved, embedded it have Pure Purple Eye pupils and it make me remember something but wasn't able too comprehend what it was.

in my Past Life.

Clara and Althea moved forward, seemingly drawn to their respective Reward. Each pedestal responded to our presence, reacting as if these rewards had been waiting for us.

The energy radiating from them was immense. Unbelievably so This?

As we go inside it Leaked out each one of them A Ranked i smile as i finnaly remember who it belongs.
