Kael's POV
The entire day was peaceful, and Eira looked so happy. All of us were glad to see her being herself and doing whatever she preferred.
Just as she said to Jason in the morning, she went to his room in the night. None of us minded that as well. It was his time with her, while we had to pay attention to more serious matters.
Four of us gathered in the study once the kids were asleep.
"I talked to Alpha Gerald, and we decided there is no use in getting things to the council. It's already sold its soul to that bastard Asher," I informed my brothers. "We will take things ahead on our own to end it all at once."
Roman chuckled. "That bastard must be fuming as he can't take things to the council as well. What will he say? That I am hiding vampires in my home, and at that, a vampire bitch."
