Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Death, New World and Wishes

John Wayne, a graduating engineering student, was on his way to the proudest moment of his life—his college graduation. Dressed sharply in his gown, he was on the phone with his mother, reassuring her with a smile, "Don't worry, Mom. I won't be late. I promise."

But fate, ever mischievous, had other plans.

A sharp beep! echoed through the street.

Instinctively, John turned his head—just in time to see the blinding lights of an oncoming truck.

"Truck-kun," as anime fans would call it, never missed a shift. Devoted to his mysterious cosmic duty of transporting souls to other worlds, he did what he did best.

John Wayne died on graduation day.

The Void

Floating in darkness, John slowly regained consciousness. There was no pain—just a vast, peaceful void, and a warm presence watching him. As his soul gathered its bearings, a figure emerged from the shadows, smiling gently like a father watching his child stumble into the world.

John stood, confused but calm. "Am I… dead?"

The being chuckled. "Yes. A rather unfortunate death."

John blinked. "So this is where you judge me?"

The entity shook his head. "No judgment today. Truck-kun was on the job—but he missed a red light. That was our mistake. And when it's our fault, compensation is in order. You, John Wayne, are granted reincarnation into a universe of your destiny… and a number of wishes based on your luck."

John's eyes widened. "Seriously?"

The being nodded, raising his hand. Two divine roulette wheels materialized midair, golden and radiant. One glowed with names of multiverses—MCU, DCEU, Tensura, Modern Family, Naruto, Warhammer 40K, Fast & Furious, and more. The other had glowing Roman numerals, from I to X.

"Spin the first wheel," the godly entity said. "This determines your next world."

John stepped forward nervously. "Please not Warhammer, please not Warhammer…"

He spun.

The wheel slowed… ticked past Warhammer 40K… and landed on Fast & Furious.

John exhaled in relief. "Thank you."

The god grinned. "Cars, guns, heists, and over-the-top action—perfect for your talents."

"Now spin the second."

He did.

It stopped at V—five wishes.

"Name your first wish," the god said.

John didn't hesitate. "I want Great Sage, Rimuru Tempest's unique skill."

"Smart choice," the god nodded. "An AI that evolves, grants limitless insight, and processes information faster than any mortal mind. Granted."

"My second wish," John said, "is Degenerate, Shizue Izawa's unique skill."

"Excellent synergy," the god mused. "Combining and synthesizing skills, crafting myth-tier materials… Paired with Great Sage, you're basically an inventor god. Granted."

John grinned. "For my third wish, I want a Demon Lord Seed—but unawakened. I want something to work toward."

The god laughed. "In a world fueled by gas and muscle cars, you'll be the nuclear option. Granted."

"My fourth wish," John said, "is the ability to name others, granting them growth and evolution."

The god paused, then smiled deeply. "In a world where family is sacred, you seek to build your own. I'll allow it—with one condition. You must build trust first. A loyalty threshold must be met before you can name them. Granted."

John nodded, impressed. "That's fair."

"For my final wish…" he grinned, "I want Observation Haki—at the level of Admiral Fujitora, with no cap on its potential."

The god let out a low whistle. "You're not holding back. Precognition, spiritual perception, danger sense… with Great Sage and Haki together, you'll be a one-man army. Still, to keep things interesting, you'll start at a beginner's level. You'll grow into it."

"Wish granted."

John bowed his head. "Thank you."

"You may now choose your starting point and appearance," the god said.

"I want to awaken at age ten, with my memories intact. For appearance… make me 6'7", lean muscular build, black hair, and brown eyes."

The god raised his hand. "Done."

Light surrounded John, his body fading into particles.

As the void swallowed him, the god smiled warmly. "Go, John Wayne. Bring chaos, bring change. The world of Fast & Furious won't know what hit it."

A New Life Begins

Ten-year-old John Wayne opened his eyes in East L.A., with the hum of engines and the roar of street racers in the background. His body was unfamiliar—taller, stronger—but his mind was sharper than ever.

A voice echoed inside him.

"Great Sage System Online."

"Initialization Complete. Awaiting Commands."

A smirk spread across John's face.

Cars, guns, speed, family, and now—power.

He was no longer just a man.

He was the future king of the underground.
