At the other side of the city that was calm and peaceful, Rem and Roy were walking down a peaceful path that had the sun light shining beautifully. The day was still early and it was around 11:00Am, Rem's arm was locked with Roy's, she seemed to be rather happy being with him. Yuki, Mio, Racheal, Marallda, Lydia along with Gwen and Regina were walking right behind them. Yuki asked with a look of disinterest "Hey, don't you think this lovey dovey thing between those two have been going on for too long? I mean, we were to hang out among ourselves, not follow Rem on a quiet walk with her crush.", Lydia added "Yeah, it's a bit annoying tho, but who cares.". Racheal then explained "Well, we could always separate away from them and go do our hangout somewhere else.", Gwen had her arms behind her head like a pillow "Lets be honest, you all just want to see what kind of romance would happen between those two.". Lydia, Yuki and Racheal turned to Gwen with evil smiles and annoyed looks with their eyes glowing "Hey, keep quiet. You're going to ruin the moment.", Gwen replied with slight annoyance "Hey, don't you violently look at me that way.". Rem turned to her friends who were walking behind "Is there a problem back there?", she asked, Gwen replied while playfully holding the necks of Yuki, Lydia and Racheal "Nothing, everything's fine here.". Mio, Regina and Marallda weren't really concerned at all, Mio while spacing out thought to herself "Another assassination exams where we have to fight one another, huh. I should probably go meet Ranpo sensei for training after this.", she turned to Regina and asked "Hey Regina, how do you think this ssassination exam would turn out?", Regina replied with a straight face and no hesitation "Horrible.", this statement from her got Mio smiling nervously "Hm, you don't say.", she muttered. Regina explained to her "No, seriously, it's not going to be good at all. There's going to be lots of uncomfortable competition. People participating would want to assert dominance on one another rather than focusing on the kind of strategies and fighting styles to practice before the match. Not just that, but there are cases where people have tried to kill each other before their match's so they can have an easy win. In short, this assassination exam would be one that brings the scum out of people.". Mio sighed "Sounds stressfull.", she turned back and looked at Fred walking behind them "He's probably waiting for his friend Roy to finish spending time with Rem so that they both can go along with their day.", Mio said to Regina. Regina replied "You're probably right.", Gwen on the other hand while grabbing her friends by the necks and holding them in place was staring at Fred who was walking behind them. Fred noticed this and waved to her with a mild smile, Gwen seemed a bit flustered and faced her front "He looked at me.", she thought to herself while feeling shy. Regina on the other hand looked at how Roy and Rem were having their moment and then flashbacked to how she ignored Volt, Regina's eyes narrowed "Volt is my friend and my teammate. Seeing him being insulted like that pisses me off. Whether its from another friend of his or even his own sister, I don't like the idea of him being silently insulted like that. I'll talk to Rem about this after she's done having fun.". Marallda on the other hand was just quiet all through, but while everyone was talking and doing their own thing, she had a thought in her head "I wonder what Baroka is doing right now.". Meanwhile Volt was near a river throwing stones at the water, he seemed rather sad "So she has a guy she likes, who cares? You shouldn't just ignore your brother like that. I mean, we're literally twins who used to play and train together until I was taken to the soliders base to live there. I just don't get why she'd do that. He's probably not even strong at all, he's most likely a weak bastard!", he muttered to himself and paused for a moment. Volt paused for a few seconds and then slammed his fist on the ground with a small spark of lightning that created a small ball sized crater on the ground, he took a deep breath and sighed "What am I even doing getting angry about being ignored. She's a girl, she's capable of doing stupid stuff when she feels like it. And plus, calling that Roy guy a weak bastard for something he didn't even do or wasn't his fault is stupid and weak minded of me.", he placed both his palms on his face and exclaimed "Aaaahh! When did I become so weak minded that I'd insult someone else who isn't even my problem.". Suddenly, a red haired lady approached him "Hey there kid, are you doing well?", Volt looked up and saw a woman with red long hair that looked like flames, she was wearing a black and red jumpsuit standing beside him, he responded "Oh, I'm doing well. Miss Suzuha.", Suzuha Blaze(22 years old) replied "Volt boy, I saw you sitting here all depressed, so I came here to ask you what the problem was. You good, Kid?", Volt sighed "No, it's nothing. I'm just feeling a little worried about the assassination exam coming up. And I was all night training my max electricity output to the bone, my body seemed a bit worn out after I was done training, so im a bit pale.", Suzuha replied "Hm, that's a bit reckless of you. Your electricity powers take a toll on your body, remember? Your body is the thing that generates all that electric power, so don't push it too much.", Volt replied with a tired smile "Yeah, I understand.". Suzuha opened her palm and generated a small wave of flames on it "Your electricity and my flames are very similar. Yours fries anything it touches with fast strikes, mine incinerates things on a slower process, but it depends on the amount of energy I put in it tho.", she stood up and waved to him "Remember to always take care of yourself. And plus, you'll be fine, don't worry about the assassination exam. Just keep training and do your best, win or lose, you'll still gain something.", she walked off while waving "Later boy.". Volt waved back at her "Yeah, thanks Suzuha.", Baroka walked in with two ice cream cones on his hands "Hey, Volt. Who was that lady?", Volt replied "Oh, she's just a lady I look up to, she's pretty chill.", Baroka replied "Whatever", and stretched an ice cream to him "Here, have some.", Volt grabbed it "Thanks buddy.", Baroka responded "You're welcome.".
