Chapter 10 - Chapter 9: The Mask of Normalcy

From that day onward, Uchiha Shivara lived two completely different lives—one that the world could see, and one that no one would ever understand.

Within the Uchiha compound, he remained exactly what everyone expected him to be: an average child. His chakra levels appeared ordinary, his physical abilities unremarkable, and his behavior calm to the point of being forgettable. During early training sessions with other children, he performed just well enough to avoid criticism, yet never well enough to attract attention.

It was deliberate.

Every movement, every reaction, every display of ability was carefully controlled. When others pushed forward with competitive energy, Shivara held himself back. When they failed, he failed alongside them. When they improved, he improved just slightly less.

To the instructors, he was neither weak nor talented.

Just… normal.

And that was exactly how he wanted it.

But beneath that carefully crafted mask, his real growth had already begun.

Inside the Creation Space, time flowed differently. Hours in the real world became days, sometimes weeks, of uninterrupted focus. There, Shivara trained without restraint—not in flashy techniques or reckless displays of power, but in the fundamentals that most shinobi overlooked.

Chakra control.

Breathing alignment.

Energy efficiency.

He studied how chakra moved through his body, how it reacted to emotion, and how it interacted with the environment. Unlike others who treated chakra as a tool, Shivara treated it as a system—one that could be understood, optimized, and ultimately mastered.

The system assisted silently, providing subtle feedback, refining his approach, and presenting variations he would not have considered on his own.

At the same time, Shivara began something even more unusual.

Instead of focusing solely on his own strength, he turned his attention outward—to nature.

He observed how energy flowed through trees, soil, water, and air. There was a rhythm, a balance that shinobi rarely acknowledged. Most sought to dominate chakra, to force it into techniques.

But nature did not force.

It flowed.

One evening, while sitting beneath a tree at the edge of the compound, Shivara placed his hand gently against the ground. He did not push chakra outward aggressively. Instead, he allowed it to blend—slowly, carefully—with the natural energy around him.

At first, nothing happened.

But then…

A faint response.

Subtle, almost imperceptible.

A small sprout nearby straightened slightly, its energy stabilizing.

Shivara's eyes sharpened, though his expression remained calm.

"This… is different," he thought.

Not control.

Not dominance.

But connection.

From that moment, a new path began to form—one that did not rely solely on the traditions of the Uchiha, nor the expectations of the shinobi world.

A path that combined control, balance, and evolution.

And while the village continued to see him as nothing more than an ordinary child…

Shivara quietly moved further away from that illusion with every passing day.

Because in a world built on visible strength—

His greatest power would remain unsee
