Chapter 127: Yuexuan and Tang Yuehua
After leaving Shrek Academy, Zhu Zhuyun couldn't help but ask, "Weis, where are we going next?"
Dai Weis smiled and said, "Come on, I'll take you somewhere nice!"
Without further explanation, he took Zhu Zhuyun and Zhu Zhuqing by the hand and led them toward the busiest part of Heaven Dou City. After walking for half an hour, Dai Weis stopped in front of a tall building.
"Where is this…"
Zhu Zhuyun looked at the building in front of her. It was five stories high—considered tall in the fantasy sewers of the Douluo Continent.
The building exuded elegance and grace, with a slightly rustic architectural style. The plaque bore only two simple words:
Yuexuan.
Zhu Zhuyun softly read the name aloud. She also noticed that although the number of people here was small, they were all well-dressed and carried themselves with distinguished manners, both men and women.
Looking inside, Zhu Zhuyun frowned slightly and muttered, "Weis, what are we doing here? Isn't this the kind of place that teaches etiquette to nobles?"
There were similar establishments in the Star Luo Empire, so Zhu Zhuyun wasn't unfamiliar with Yuexuan's atmosphere. But when she noticed that most of the people inside were fair-skinned and beautiful women, she stopped smiling, pinched Dai Weis's waist, and said coquettishly:
"I said… you didn't bring us here just to look at pretty girls, did you?"
"Haha, that was part of the plan."
Seeing him admit it so shamelessly, Zhu Zhuyun grew more annoyed and said sarcastically, "What, Zhuqing and I aren't enough for you?"
"How could you satisfy me? You know the saying—domestic flowers aren't as fragrant as wild ones, hahaha…"
"Dai Weis! You…"
Just as Zhu Zhuyun was about to explode, Dai Weis quickly reached out to rub her head and said with a grin, "Okay, okay, I was joking! Do you really think I'm the type to flirt with every girl I see?"
"No, you are that type of person!" Zhu Zhuyun snapped proudly. "Or do you think you're some cowardly big brother of Dai Mubai? The two of you are cut from the same cloth."
"No way, wife, now you've gone too far!"
"I said what I said. What can you do about it? Lululu~" Zhu Zhuyun stuck out her tongue mischievously.
"I can't do anything to you," Dai Weis said with a smirk. "I just want to eat some oysters tonight and try a little whale jelly. What do you think?"
Zhu Zhuyun's face turned pale. She clung to Dai Weis's arm, eyes seductive and pleading for mercy.
"Oh, my dear husband, I was wrong! I won't compare you to that wimp Dai Mubai again. Please, let's skip the whale jelly tonight, okay?"
She couldn't handle Dai Weis in bed. If she ate whale jelly on top of that, she'd probably faint.
"That's more like it." Dai Weis scratched Zhu Zhuyun's nose and walked confidently into Yuexuan.
Seeing how luxuriously they were dressed, the staff didn't stop them. Dai Weis and the others entered Yuexuan without issue.
The moment they stepped inside, a refreshing floral scent hit them, instantly uplifting the mood. The hall was filled with an array of flowers, filling the air with a gentle, lingering fragrance.
The four girls' eyes lit up as they breathed in the soothing aroma, their prior irritation instantly dissipated.
After passing the screen wall on the first floor, they entered a spacious hall. Several girls stood around a long table, simply yet elegantly dressed. When they saw Dai Weis enter, they all smiled softly.
Dai Weis approached them with a friendly chuckle. "Hello, ladies! Is Madam Yuehua here?"
The leading young woman asked in surprise, "Excuse me, you are…?"
"I am Dai Weis, the Crown Prince of the Star Luo Empire! I have come to pay my respects to Madam Yuehua, Master of Yuexuan."
He then produced the White Tiger Token, unique to the Star Luo Empire. The young woman, who clearly recognized its significance, widened her eyes in shock, stepped back in a panic, and nearly lost her balance.
Realizing her mistake, she quickly bowed and said, "Your Highness, the Crown Prince! My apologies. Madam Yuehua is upstairs. Please wait just a moment."
She then turned and hurried upstairs to invite Tang Yuehua out.
Moments later, a graceful, refined woman descended the stairs slowly, followed by two other girls.
Dai Weis was momentarily stunned—Tang Yuehua, though already thirty years old, looked like she was only in her mid-twenties. She wasn't much older than him.
If he hadn't known she was Tang Hao's sister, he might have called her "big sister."
As Dai Weis observed Tang Yuehua, she was also secretly observing him. But her spirit power was only at rank nine, so she couldn't see through his true cultivation.
Retracting his gaze, Dai Weis bowed respectfully and smiled. "Junior Dai Weis greets Madam Yuehua."
"So you're the Crown Prince of Star Luo. Please forgive me for not recognizing you," Tang Yuehua returned the bow with a gentle and dignified smile. Then, she added warmly, "This isn't the place for conversation. Your Highness, please come with me."
"I shall respectfully follow Madam Yuehua's lead," Dai Weis smiled, then turned to Zhu Zhuyun and the others.
"Zhuyun, I need to speak privately with Madam Yuehua. It may take a while. You all go ahead and look around. Just don't stray too far."
"Alright, don't worry—we won't," Zhu Zhuyun replied with a smile. Without hesitation, she pulled Zhu Zhuqing and the others away.
Dai Weis followed Tang Yuehua into a guest room. She personally poured a cup of hot tea for him and placed it on the table, speaking gently: "Your Highness, please enjoy. This is Tiandou City's finest black tea. I hope you'll like it."
"Thank you, Madam Yuehua," Dai Weis said as he raised the cup and drank it all in one go.
Tang Yuehua smiled softly, watching him with the gentle gaze of an older sister. Then, she asked in a calm voice:
"I wonder what brings the Crown Prince of the Star Luo Empire all the way to Heaven Dou City to see me?"
"I know about the Clear Sky Douluo."
Tang Yuehua's hand, still holding the teapot, paused mid-pour. Then, she feigned calmness and continued her movements.
But Dai Weis's sharp eyes did not miss it. Ignoring her attempt at pretense, he continued speaking:
"I know that Madam Yuehua established Yuexuan, the noble etiquette academy in Heaven Dou City, partly to earn money from aristocrats to purchase supplies for the Clear Sky Sect.
It's fair to say that the sect's daily expenses are now entirely on your shoulders.
You've worked tirelessly for the Clear Sky Sect—not only have you remained unmarried, but there are even bizarre rumors linking you to Emperor Xue Ye.
And yet, the people of the Clear Sky Sect act like overgrown children, shamelessly relying on a woman to support them."
