Chapter 105: Sisterly Competition
In the Prince's Mansion, three beautiful figures moved like streaks of light, fiercely clashing and weaving together. Their battle dazzled the eye, intense and breathtaking.
The three women were Zhu Zhuyun, Zhu Zhuqing, and Anna—currently engaged in a sparring match. Zhu Zhuqing and Anna had teamed up against their strongest opponent, Zhu Zhuyun.
Zhu Zhuyun's soul power had reached the peak of level 55, almost breaking through to 56. With two ten-thousand-year spirit bones, one being the rare skull, and the other a torso bone, she could already fight against Spirit Emperors.
Zhu Zhuqing and Anna had also progressed significantly over the past six months. Three months prior, Zhu Zhuqing had broken through to level 40 and ventured into the Star Dou Great Forest to hunt an eight-thousand-year Ghost Tiger. After absorbing its spirit ring, she obtained her fourth soul skill: Nether Shadow Clone.
This technique was similar to Zhu Zhuyun's Netherworld Clone—it could produce multiple physical clones with combat capability and allowed them to use her first three soul skills. While not as powerful in individual strength, the advantage was in numbers.
Anna, too, had made great strides. Her soul power reached level 39. Following Davis's advice, she refrained from absorbing power from spirit beasts or spirit masters and instead trained diligently to build a strong foundation.
Even more impressively, Anna had developed her own soul skill.
Although Zhu Zhuyun had two ten-thousand-year soul bones, Zhu Zhuqing and Anna shared two between them. The battle among the three women remained deadlocked—it was hard to declare a winner.
"Heh, looks like you two have improved a lot!" Zhu Zhuyun chuckled, the corners of her lips lifting slightly. After sparring for half an hour, she still hadn't overwhelmed them, which pleased her as their older sister—but she wasn't one to go easy.
Suddenly, Zhu Zhuyun's voice turned cold:
"But if you think this is all I've got… you're wrong! Ghost Tiger Torso Bone Skill: Netherworld Clone!"
In an instant, two streaks of light shot out from her chest and landed behind Zhu Zhuqing and Anna—materializing into two identical Zhu Zhuyun clones.
Zhu Zhuqing's heart skipped a beat. She immediately warned,
"Nana, be careful. Sister's Netherworld Clone is very powerful. It has half her combat strength and can use all her soul skills. More importantly, these clones are extremely fast.
Nana, your attack power is still lacking. Focus on protecting yourself. Use your Black Jade Divine Grass to bind the clones—I'll go in for the kill."
"Got it! I've been wanting to try out my self-created skill anyway!"
Suddenly, countless dark green vines of Black Jade Divine Grass erupted from Anna, spiraling upward and encasing her slender form. Then, they wove together to form a ten-meter-long wooden dragon, which surged toward the Zhu Zhuyun clones like a divine beast descending from the heavens.
"Self-created soul skill: Black Jade Dragon!"
This was a skill Anna developed herself based on Davis's advice and the ancient Wood Dragon technique. It made up for her low personal attack power.
The wooden dragon, woven from an abundance of divine grass, was incredibly sturdy—resistant to fire and water—and had formidable combat capabilities. Anna controlled the dragon remotely, like a puppeteer pulling strings.
The dragon shot forward, tearing through the air with a thunderous roar. Its deafening cry echoed through the sky as it lunged at a clone, instantly binding it in its coils.
"Sister Zhuqing, now!"
"Got it! Third soul skill: Netherworld Slash!"
With a cold glint in her eye, Zhu Zhuqing dashed toward the captured clone. Her claws shimmered with deadly sharpness as she lunged at its head.
The momentum was terrifying—it seemed she would tear the clone apart in the next breath!
However, just as her claws were about to strike, the clone smiled faintly. A purple light flashed in its eyes, catching Zhu Zhuqing completely off guard.
"Netherworld Spring Fall?! That's my sister's third soul skill! I let my guard down. I didn't think the clones could use soul skills so suddenly!"
Normally, a soul master had to channel a soul ring before activating a skill. The glow of the ring gave opponents time to prepare or guess the ability. But Zhu Zhuyun's Netherworld Clones didn't follow the rules. As clones, they could instantly release skills—making them hard to predict and even harder to counter.
"I win, my dear sister."
A teasing voice came from behind. At some point, Zhu Zhuyun herself had appeared behind Zhu Zhuqing, wrapping her arms around her sister's slender waist. Her hands shamelessly roamed, groping her chest.
Feeling the softness under her fingers, she smirked:
"Hehe, so smooth. Looks like Weiss will be in for quite the blessing in the future."
"Ahn... s-stop! Sister, let me go!" Zhu Zhuqing's face flushed red, and she struggled against her sister's grip. But how could Zhu Zhuyun let her go so easily?
"Sister, please! Let go! Brother Weiss is back!"
"Hehe, trying to lie to me? You need a better excuse than that!"
"No really, look! He's here!"
Half-suspicious, Zhu Zhuyun looked up—then froze.
Sure enough, Davis was descending from the sky. A brilliant gleam lit up her eyes. She instantly waved and called out:
"Weiss! You're finally back! What took you so long? Come down here!"
"Hahaha! I'm enjoying the sisterly battle too much!"
Hovering above, Davis watched their spar with great amusement, completely captivated.
Moments later, he descended, landing beside the trio. With a warm smile, he ruffled the hair of both wives.
"Long time no see, my beauties. Did you miss me?"
"Go away! Who missed you?"
"Hehe, Brother Weiss! I missed you so much! Every day you were gone, I couldn't sleep!"
Zhu Zhuqing spoke boldly from the heart, while Zhu Zhuyun stiffened with jealousy.
Zhuqing, you little fox! Teaming up with me one moment and scheming against me the next? You've got real green tea potential!
"Heh, Zhuqing is so sweet. I like that," Davis smiled and hugged her.
Zhu Zhuyun, flustered, was about to complain—only for Davis to pull her into his embrace as well, burying his face in the scent of both his beloved wives.
His actions said it all: No need for words. I know your heart.
Zhu Zhuyun's heart raced. Her face flushed pink.
"Weiss... are you... already a Soul Emperor?" she suddenly asked. She could sense the immense pressure emanating from him.
"Yes."
Davis didn't hide it. He released his martial spirit—and six spirit rings rose around him: yellow, purple, purple, black, black, black.
The brilliance and depth of those colors stunned all three women into speechlessness.
