With the end of my fanfic, DC: The Template System, I've decided to do a complete reboot of my MonsterVerse fanfic with a completely different premise.
This time, don't expect another overpowered system story.
Instead, I wanted to write something more survival-focused.
What if, instead of becoming Kong… the protagonist became one of his greatest enemies?
A college student wakes up on Skull Island, but not as a human, a titan, or some overpowered godlike creature or even anacondalike before.
He wakes up as a newborn Skullcrawler.
Hunted by his own siblings minutes after birth and thrown into a brutal survival-of-the-fittest environment, he must adapt or die on one of the deadliest islands in fiction.
No system or instant power-ups.
Set years before Kong: Skull Island, this story explores a younger Kong, the growing conflict between the apes and the Skullcrawler brood, and a protagonist trying to carve out a place for himself in an ecosystem where everything wants him dead.
