Chapter 203 - Chapter 203: The Side Story Animation of Madoka

After seeing Isshiki Iroha off at the station,

Su Yu headed back to Sakura Dorm.

As he approached, he noticed a light glowing from the second floor.

Sakura Dorm was getting livelier by the day.

"Su Yu-kun."

Kawasaki Saki's voice called out.

"You've worked hard."

Su Yu turned toward her standing by the door of the Kawasaki residence.

"Not really. I feel fulfilled. I want to become someone like Miss Hanada," Saki said softly.

"Then aim for the same university as Hanada Yui."

Su Yu walked up to her.

"I'll work hard," Saki said, blushing and lowering her head.

"Your sister's reading?" Su Yu asked as he got closer.

Saki nodded, her eyes holding a hint of hope.

With that confirmation, Su Yu gently hugged her—

And then leaned down and kissed her.

Saki didn't resist. She tried her best to respond.

Just then—

"Ahem."

A loud cough cut through the moment.

Startled, Saki quickly pulled away.

Su Yu looked over to see Hiratsuka Shizuka standing by the door.

"Shizuka-sensei, if you've caught a cold, drink more hot water," Su Yu said calmly.

"I need to talk to you," Hiratsuka said, giving him a sharp look.

"Sensei… it's getting late. You want me to go to your room at this hour…" Su Yu teased.

"It's about Haruno," she interrupted, walking into her room.

Su Yu glanced at the blushing Saki.

"Good night."

"Good night…"

Saki replied softly, her face still red as she retreated into her room.

Su Yu followed Hiratsuka into her place.

After changing into indoor slippers, he stepped into the living room.

She was already sitting on the sofa, watching him.

Su Yu sat down and, without asking, poured himself a cup of tea from the table.

"Wait—"

Before Hiratsuka could finish, he had already brought the cup to his lips and drank it down in one go.

Setting the cup down, he looked at her.

"What is it, Shizuka-sensei?"

"...N-Nothing."

Her face was flushed as she glanced at the teacup he had just used.

Su Yu immediately realized why.

He poured another cup with a chuckle.

"The tea you have here is sweet. I really like it."

"I… I'm glad," she said, looking away.

"You want to ask why Mrs. Yukinoshita handed the company over to Haruno, right?" Su Yu asked.

"This… does it have anything to do with you?" Hiratsuka narrowed her eyes.

Su Yu nodded without denying it.

She stared at him intently.

"I don't know what methods you used, but Haruno isn't ready to take over the Yukinoshita company yet."

"There's no such thing as the perfect time, Sensei. If Haruno can endure this phase, she'll gain full control. If not, I'll step in and help restructure the company," Su Yu replied calmly.

"You have that kind of capability?" Hiratsuka asked skeptically.

"Sensei, did you forget how I beat you?" Su Yu asked, raising an eyebrow.

Hiratsuka fell silent.

Su Yu smiled faintly and picked up the tea again.

"To me, there's nothing impossible."

"…If you have time, go see Haruno. She's taking on a lot alone."

Her voice softened slightly.

Su Yu said nothing, simply finished his tea and stood up.

At the door, he turned back.

"I will."

Hiratsuka let out a sigh as she watched him leave.

She knew this wasn't the right thing to do.

But they were her students…

When Su Yu returned home—

The three girls were in pajamas, gathered in the living room discussing the Madoka Magica game.

He walked in, and they glanced at him—then returned to their discussion.

Su Yu didn't interrupt. He grabbed some clothes and went to take a bath.

Half an hour later—

He returned, now in pajamas.

"Su Yu-kun, want to see our progress? I'd like your opinion," Yui asked, looking at him.

"Sure, let me take a look."

He sat down between Miura Yumiko and Yui.

Ebina Hina had taken charge of the plot. It wasn't a straight retelling of Madoka's original story, but a gentler, more playful variation.

Kawasaki Saki had designed puzzle elements—simple enough for kids, just requiring a bit of thinking.

Yui and Yumiko were in charge of character art and backgrounds. The core story had been visualized.

Everything on the table now was the foundation of the game.

With this groundwork, making a game wouldn't be too difficult—

They might not even need a top-tier studio.

Su Yu read the story first, then examined the art.

His conclusion:

It was a simple yet charming tale.

And this game could easily be adapted into a side-story anime.

"We can hand this over to Future Animation," Su Yu said, putting down the material.

"Huh?" the three girls looked at him in confusion.

"This story you came up with—I think it works as a Madoka Magica side story. But the studio has to change. It can't be done by Shining Animation," Su Yu explained.

"This can become an anime?" Yui asked in shock.

"Making anime isn't as hard as you think. The biggest hurdle is funding," Su Yu said with a chuckle.

"Wait… you're saying you'll fund this anime?" Miura Yumiko caught on.

Su Yu nodded.

"But what if it loses money…" Yui asked worriedly.

"Then each of you five girls owes me tens of millions. You can pay it off slowly," Su Yu said, wrapping his arm around Yui's slender waist.

"I don't want to owe you that much!" Yui blushed.

"That's the point. If you owe me a ton, you can't leave me, you silly girl," Su Yu teased.

Yui lowered her head, embarrassed by the gazes from Ebina and Yumiko.

"I'm feeling a bit tired. I'll go rest first. You should get some sleep too," Ebina said, standing up.

Her words made Yumiko's face flush as well.

A door opened and closed—Ebina went into the small guest room.

Su Yu extended his other arm, wrapping it around Yumiko's waist.

Yumiko looked at Yui.

Yui looked back.

Their eyes met—

And they both turned their heads away.

Su Yu glanced at the two bashful girls.

He gave Yumiko a kiss on the cheek, then turned and kissed Yui.

Then he let them go.

"You two go rest first. I'll tidy up all this stuff."
