Future Manga – The Digital Platform.
The new digital manga platform was named Future Manga.
In addition to a mobile app, there was also a web version.
The web version had been completed for a while and already housed most of Future Manga Weekly's serialized manga.
As per Su Yu's suggestion, part of each serialized manga would be available for free, while the remaining chapters would require payment using manga points—a form of virtual currency that users could purchase.
Users who spent money on the platform would level up, granting them special status in the comment sections, distinguishing them from regular readers.
Additionally, spending a certain amount would earn Future Manga Points, which could be used in a rewards shop to redeem official merchandise from Future Manga Publishing.
There was also a donation system and bestseller rankings to encourage reader engagement.
Once Hanada Yui received confirmation that the testing phase was complete, she immediately contacted Su Yu.
Su Yu gave her a simple response:
"Start promoting it first, then launch gradually."
After ending the call, Hanada Yui immediately reached out to advertising agencies.
However, just as she was finalizing negotiations, her assistant entered the office with surprising news.
"President, several advertising agencies have reached out to us first. They want to help promote the Future Manga platform, and they're offering very low rates." The assistant spoke cautiously.
"Are you sure?" Hanada Yui frowned.
"I've already verified it. These are legitimate agencies, and there's more than one." The assistant handed her a list of contacts.
Hanada Yui quickly searched for their information.
A few minutes later, she noticed something peculiar—
Most of these agencies were based in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto.
As soon as she saw those three locations, she immediately made the connection.
Turning to her assistant, she instructed, "Proceed with the contracts at their offered rates."
"Understood." The assistant bowed and left the room.
After a moment of hesitation, Hanada Yui picked up her phone and called Yukinoshita Haruno.
When Haruno heard the situation, she chuckled.
"As you suspected, someone is indeed helping Future Manga Publishing. This person greatly admires Su Yu-kun, but don't worry—they have no ulterior motives."
"I see. That's a relief," Hanada Yui sighed in relief.
"Yukinoshita's family also has advertising connections. I'll have them reach out to you," Haruno added.
"Thank you very much," Hanada Yui responded gratefully.
After School – Tennis Court.
Su Yu stayed at the tennis court for an hour before heading back to Sakura Dormitory.
On the way, he received a message from Satou Yumiko.
"Pre-orders: 300,000."
Su Yu glanced at the number and put his phone away, no longer surprised.
Earlier that afternoon, Satou Yumiko had already informed him of the total planned print run.
1 million copies.
Bookstore orders were still increasing.
The physical copies would be delivered to major bookstores before Friday, and sales would begin immediately upon arrival.
Meanwhile, online store operations had been expanded to handle the surge in orders.
After 24 hours, online sales would officially open.
Pre-orders didn't reflect actual sales numbers—sales could multiply several times over, as many people tended to buy multiple copies.
Sakura Dormitory
After taking a shower and changing clothes, Su Yu mentioned that he was heading to Future Manga Publishing.
Hearing this, Kawasaki Saki ended her study session early and changed into professional attire.
Su Yu glanced at her outfit but didn't comment, heading toward the door instead.
Kawasaki Saki followed him.
As they walked toward the train station, Su Yu spoke casually.
"Next year, we can take the driver's test."
"I… I haven't planned on buying a car yet," Kawasaki Saki hesitated.
"As my assistant, you can't be without a car. Once you have your license, I'll get you one." Su Yu looked at her.
"I…"
"That way, we can drive to the beach at night. I'd like to lie back in the car and watch the stars."
"…I understand." Kawasaki Saki replied softly.
Seeing her agreement, Su Yu leaned in and whispered something in her ear.
Kawasaki Saki's face instantly turned red as she looked away.
Once they arrived at the station, they boarded the train.
Su Yu sat next to Kawasaki Saki, gazing out the window.
"If… if I hadn't met you, I don't think I'd ever have noticed the scenery outside the train window," Kawasaki Saki said quietly.
"Busy people don't have time to stop and appreciate landscapes that won't fill their stomachs," Su Yu remarked, glancing at a tired salaryman across from them, who seemed to be dozing off.
"That's why… I'm really grateful to you," Kawasaki Saki murmured before leaning against his shoulder.
"How grateful?" Su Yu asked, looking at her.
Kawasaki Saki blushed.
After a brief pause, she leaned closer and whispered something in his ear.
Hearing her words, Su Yu smiled and wrapped an arm around her waist.
Kawasaki Saki's face turned even redder as she nestled into his embrace.
Future Manga Publishing – Editorial Office.
Since they had arrived early, Su Yu first stopped by the editorial department.
Satou Yumiko poured him a cup of tea and began explaining how major bookstores in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto had drastically increased their orders for Yuuya.
Su Yu listened and immediately understood—this was the work of that mysterious "ojou-sama."
That meant she was likely somewhere within those three cities.
Knock, knock.
"Come in."
Satou Yumiko turned toward the door.
Tamura Nanako entered the office, holding her phone with an unusual expression.
She glanced at Su Yu before walking over to Satou Yumiko.
"What's wrong?" Satou Yumiko asked.
"Look at this."
Tamura Nanako handed her phone to Satou Yumiko.
Upon reading the message, Satou Yumiko's eyes widened in shock.
The next second, she turned to Su Yu, looking completely astonished.
"Su Yu-sensei… do you know Her Highness, the Princess?"
Su Yu blinked in confusion.
Then, he looked at Tamura Nanako's phone.
The message was crystal clear.
A certain princess had publicly recommended Yuuya to the media, saying it was a fun and charming manga that had been introduced to her by a friend.
After reading it, Su Yu immediately thought of the mysterious ojou-sama who had lent him 50 billion yen.
Without a doubt—she was the one who made the recommendation.
For her to be friends with a princess, she definitely wasn't an ordinary person.
"Su Yu-sensei, you…" Tamura Nanako stared at him, as if waiting for an explanation.
"I don't know any princess," Su Yu said calmly. "Maybe a Yuuya fan helped out."
"I see… then I won't worry about it." Tamura Nanako let out a relieved sigh.
"This will probably become news. Use my account to post a message thanking Her Highness for her support," Su Yu instructed.
"Understood," Tamura Nanako nodded and went off to make the post.
Satou Yumiko looked at Su Yu with a bright smile.
"Su Yu-sensei, it looks like Yuuya might surpass the #1 spot on the bestseller list."
Su Yu wasn't overly excited—he simply told her to prepare for additional print runs.
Satou Yumiko noticed that he seemed deep in thought, so she didn't press further.
