Chapter 99 - Chapter 99: A Date with Little Yukino

Su Yu explained Hiratsuka Shizuka's request in detail, along with his own speculation.

Hearing Su Yu's thoughts, Yukinoshita Yukino fell silent.

Indeed, if someone could adopt a child, that might truly resolve this request.

But then she thought about Sensei's father...

"I don't know much about Sensei's father, but this child won't be easy to find—unless they have some connection to her family," Yukino analyzed seriously.

"I was thinking the same, but as far as I know, Sensei's family doesn't have any distant relatives," Su Yu nodded.

"Sensei has helped me before. If you can come up with a good solution, I'll agree to one request from you…"

"Including a kiss?" Su Yu asked with a teasing smile.

Yukino's face instantly turned red, and she turned her head away, giving a soft "Mm" in response.

Seeing this, Su Yu pulled her into a tight embrace.

This was a main storyline mission!

If he could resolve Sensei's request, he could increase his favorability with little Yukino!

"...Do you and my sister have some kind of agreement? Why does she seem so close to you?" Yukino suddenly asked.

"I'll tell you about it another time. You only need to know one thing—I don't like your sister, and she doesn't like me either," Su Yu said after a brief pause.

"I'll believe you… for now. It's getting late, I should rest," Yukino looked at him and reminded him.

"I'm going to rest too," Su Yu said, and then he suddenly lifted her up.

"W-What are you doing?" Yukino's face turned bright red in an instant.

"I'm carrying you to your room. Any problem with that?" Su Yu asked.

"T-That kind of thing… is absolutely not okay!" Yukino's gaze wavered as her entire face flushed.

"Oh? So that's what you were thinking? I just meant to take you to your room. Did you think I was going to stay?" Su Yu chuckled.

Realizing her misunderstanding, Yukino shyly clenched her small fists and lightly punched Su Yu in embarrassment.

Su Yu smiled and lifted her into a princess carry.

The second daughter of the Yukinoshita family was surprisingly light.

Carrying her, Su Yu walked to the door, opened it, and made his way toward Yukino's bedroom.

Yukino buried her head against his chest, her heart caught between embarrassment and nervousness.

Eventually, Su Yu gently placed her down.

"My princess, goodnight."

Yukino looked at him.

Su Yu's face carried a warm smile as he left the room and closed the door behind him.

Her heart pounded wildly—she had even mentally prepared herself to push him away.

But unexpectedly, Su Yu was so… disciplined.

"Is it really because of his sense of responsibility?" Yukino recalled her sister's evaluation of Su Yu.

The Next Morning

Su Yu left Yukino's apartment early in the morning, going for a jog.

After running for half an hour, he stopped by a supermarket on his way back and bought some ingredients.

By the time he returned, Yukino was still asleep. Unlike Yui, who loved to sleep in, Yukino wasn't particularly lazy, but since it was Saturday and she didn't have work, sleeping a little longer was understandable.

Su Yu entered the kitchen and started preparing breakfast.

Just as the meal was nearly done, Yukino finally woke up.

She had changed into a fresh set of clothes, making her look a little more adorable and a little less aloof.

"Good morning, my princess," Su Yu greeted with a smile.

"D-Don't call me that," Yukino said, flustered.

"Alright then, little Yukino," Su Yu adjusted the nickname as he brought breakfast to the living room.

Yukino followed behind him.

The two of them sat at the dining table, quietly enjoying their meal.

"...Where are we going today?"

"It's a secret. I want to take little Yukino on a different kind of date."

"I'm not good with crowded places…"

"I know. The places I chose are all quiet. And for tonight, we'll be at my place."

Hearing that, Yukino's face flushed slightly, but she didn't protest.

Su Yu noticed her faint blush and knew she had silently agreed to his plan.

After breakfast, they cleaned up the dishes together.

Then, they took the elevator down to the front entrance of the apartment, where the car was already waiting.

The First Stop: Shopping for Su Yu's Clothes

The first stop of their date wasn't planned by Su Yu.

Yukino figured that since Su Yu might often visit her apartment in the future, it would be good to pick out some clothes for him to keep there.

Su Yu, of course, had no reason to refuse.

However… Yukino's method of picking clothes was…

"Little Yukino, I think we should be shopping at an armor store instead of a clothing store," Su Yu teased as he watched her meticulously test the fabric quality.

"I don't know much about clothes," Yukino admitted softly, her face slightly red.

"It's fine. I'll pick the clothes, and you pay. Since we're on a date, I won't hold back," Su Yu chuckled.

"Mm. Pick as many as you like, and also get some suits made. You might need them in the future," Yukino said without hesitation.

Neither of them lacked money, so buying things for someone they cared about wasn't a big deal.

Since she had offered, Su Yu didn't hold back and started trying on different outfits.

Yukino approved of his choices, though she felt like something was still missing.

In the end, Su Yu selected over a dozen outfits.

Yukino paid with a simple swipe of her card, drawing curious glances from the store staff.

Su Yu didn't mind their reactions at all.

After making their purchases, they went to a boutique specializing in custom-tailored suits, where Yukino ordered five suits for him.

The Second Stop: The Aquarium

The next stop was Su Yu's choice.

Even though they couldn't see pandas there, an aquarium was a peaceful place.

Watching schools of fish swim gracefully, it felt as though they were in the deep sea.

And since there weren't many people around, Yukino felt at ease.

Su Yu gently embraced her as they both gazed up at the fish swimming above.

"Su Yu-kun, do you like fish?" Yukino suddenly asked.

"I like braised fish," Su Yu replied.

Yukino immediately shot him a glare.

"That's not what I meant!"

"I don't particularly like fish, but I do enjoy the tranquility of the underwater world. Unfortunately, I can't dive, so I'll never truly experience the deep sea."

Su Yu's playful expression faded as he watched the fish swim by.

"I can teach you how to dive. It's quite simple," Yukino said, satisfied with his response.

"Little Yukino really knows a lot," Su Yu praised.

"My sister taught me. She's the one who truly knows everything."

"She also has things she doesn't know."

"You mean technology?"

"I mean, she doesn't know how to like someone."

Hearing that, Yukino glanced at him.

Su Yu didn't explain further and simply watched a large fish swim by.

"My sister is the type of person who would do anything for the Yukinoshita family. Stay away from her."

"Yes, yes, my jealous little princess."
