From his seat in the back of the Assembly Hall, amongst the nervous and intimidated D-Class students, Eryndor watched the proceedings with a quiet, detached intensity. He felt a deep sense of separation, a chasm between himself and the other students.
Some students around him fidgeted nervously, their faces pale with a genuine, palpable fear, fear of what if they didn't pass. While some of the D class students wasn't flinching instead they were enthusiastic and filled with vigorous anticipation to start the exam. He watched Proctor Aerion with a sense of unease, his mind churning with what this "mission" would entail. The murmurs had died down, and the entire hall was now waiting with bated breath.
