Elira's POV
"Bow." I said.
The command had already left my lips like a blade, it was cold and cutting, and I even enjoyed the way the Alphas gathered and sat in their seats.
Some even obeyed at once, lowering their heads in surrender, while others were offended, their wolves growling faintly under their skin. One who dared to lift his eyes was Alpha Renic of the Hollow Pines.
"You have no right, the title of High Luna belongs to no one. It is not an honored seat in the Council, it is a fantasy you have just invented yourself." He said, his voice was filled with barely controlled anger.
"Fantasy? Then why are you here in my hall, Alpha Renic? Why did you march your warriors on mountains to answer my summons?" I rest forward in the carved silver throne, my fingers were playing with the sharp armrest, my lips curved playfully.
"Because you threatened to burn my borders." He said with a surprise though only for a moment.
