Yuliy thought for a while in his room and made the decision that it was time to leave, "On the night of the next full moon", rolling his body over, looking at Haru. Her skin glistened in the moonlight as he lay his head down on the pillow next to her. His voice was heavy with gratitude and sorrow. "It's time for me to go."
The thought of Yuliy's absence pained her heart. "You don't have to leave," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. Shutting her eyes, pulling her body into a fetal position into his chest, "I don't care if I remind you of her. Please stay."
Yuliy smiled, his expression bittersweet. "You've given me more than I deserve," cupping Haru's face to look at him. "I've found my peace here, Haru. But now, I need to find my path." He knew that if he stayed here, it would only mean that he would grow attached to her and cause her pain.
As he turned to get up, Haru put her arm around his waist, holding onto his hot skin. "Come back?"
Yuliy paused, catching a glimmer of the blurred moonlight in his eyes. He wiped his eyes. He didn't want to give her any hope, but he also didn't want to lose her, "If the moonlight wills it," he bluffed.
