"A strong opponent" Yuta said to himself with a smirk
Standing before him was a grade 5 demon almost breaking through to a grade 6 demon.
Yuta stood at 6'3" (about 191 cm), yet…, the demon towered over him, easily over three hundred centimeters tall.
Both stood tall, posture straight as they looked at each other with murderous intent.
Not paying attention to the destruction around Valon, Yuta and the demon stood in their own world.
Their eyes never wavered from each other.
'Finally, entertainment'
Yuta thought to himself.
His heart beat frantically, his blood pumped wildly—every fiber of his body and soul craving excitement.

Before Yuta could complete his statement, a long broad sword swung in his direction.
'Dodge, Yuta!' Luna's voice tore through his mind.
Yuta's lips curled.

Ignoring the pleadings and cries of Luna, Yuta was determined to hold the sword with his bare hands
He wanted to test how strong he has become since he arrived in this world
The sword moved so fast that Yuta's eyes failed to track it.
Almost instinctively, Yuta planted his foot—

"Aren't you no fun?" Yuta mocked
As they were locked in their intense confrontation, the demon which had been silent since their whole brief confrontation finally spoke up.
"You might actually last a few seconds."

A vein bulged on Yuta's forehead yet he tried to remain calm
Yuta smiled at the demon calmly
"What is your name?"
"Of what importance does my name carry?" the demon replied
"I need to know the name of who I kill next"

Silence, then-
"Nice response"
The demon replied yet it did not understand the significance of why a puny human would want to know its name
"My name is Slurig, a demon general of ***** tribe"
'Doesn't want me to know his tribe's name, huh'
Yuta paused for a second before asking another question
"Why don't you want me to know your tribe's name?"
"Classified information"
"Alright"
"Tell me your name. I'd hate to forget the face of someone interesting as you, human"
The demon asked, his voice weighing every tone
Slurig's voice was a little hoarse but Yuta decided to pay no mind about his tone before he replied calmly
"My name is Liam Roth"
"Liam huh"
'He's intrigued huh'

In a swift motion, the sword which Yuta had held with his bare hand suddenly changed its shape
From being a broad sword into a thin like rapier shaped sword as Slurig easily retracted it from Yuta's grasp

Yuta stepped back creating distance between himself and Slurig as he unsheathed his sword from his back.
'I need to be careful, he's dangerous'
Yuta's senses were screaming at an alarming rate

Both figures moved at unimaginable speed; their killing intent enveloped the air as their sword clashed against each other

Both swords clashed mightily as sparks of lightning flew around.
The ground cracked profusely as both figures stood against each other waiting to see who would lose their footing first.
Dust rose as their impact scattered around the building shattering the surrounding room
Locked tight as their sword clashed against each other, the ground which had a crack slowly gave away

As the building came crashing down, Yuta pushing Slurig in attempt to create distance but Slurig was resilient.
Being physically strong, Slurig gave him no time, pressing his sword forward as he forced Yuta to the edge
*Ugh*
Yuta groaned as both Slurig continued pressing on until they both neared the ground floor.
'Can't keep dragging this down'
'You are definitely right Yuta' Luna responded
Yuta was well aware that in the long run, this physical battle with Slurig would not end in his favor
Condensing mana until it was small enough, Yuta muttered to himself quietly

Noticing the small gap in Slurig attack probably to being stunned by Yuta's ability, Yuta kicked Slurig

Yuta knew this would not kill Slurig but he needed a space to breathe even if it was for a second

Before Slurig fell deep, he grabbed Yuta's leg which caught him Yuta off guard
"Wait"
Yuta said in caution
A wide grin appeared on Slurig' s face which sent shivers down Yuta spine
"Let's go down there together" Slurig said with a smirk
'Savage beast' Yuta cursed
As Slurig edged closer, using full force— he slammed Yuta down first before crashing after him
*Thud*
As Yuta and Slurig both came crashing down, the ground broke terribly as Yuta and Slurig went into different directions
Glass shattered, debris cracking yet at the east sides of things, someone lay down on the ground as something was impaled into him
The figure struggled to get the grasp of things as he went in and out of a daze
*Ugh*
Dust settled down as the figure slowly came into view
"Yuta!"
Luna voice echoed bringing him back to reality
As Yuta slowly opened his eyes, his mind was in disarray, blood trickled faintly from his head
'Ouch'
Slowly regaining his consciousness, Yuta saw although hazy a reinforcement bar impaled through his chest
The reinforcement pierced through missing his heart by an inch

Yuta coughed out blood
"Yuta!"
Luna screams echoed around it surrounding
Slowly raising his hand which shook profusely, Yuta covered his face for a second.

Coming from the northern side was Slurig
Snapping himself back to reality, Yuta saw Slurig who slowly walked towards him.
He was unharmed.
'You got be kidding me'
It may have been due to his massive size and strength taking into factor.
"Hahaha"
Slurig laughter echoed through the rubble
Despite being impaled, Yuta's mind screamed at him

Yuta dragged himself from the reinforcement bar, the initial pain which had not registered in Yuta's mind slowly did

Yuta struggled to rise to his feet
"Yuta, take it easy"
Luna screamed at him
"No, I can still fight" Yuta said as he desperately tried to stand still
Staring into Yuta's end, Luna could see it
Yuta red crimson eyes did not waver, they became colder, sharper like being forged into something stronger

Yuta stood up with the support of his sword only to meet Slurig who was inches away from him
With his fists clenched tightly, Slurig punched Yuta straight in the face

Yuta's body crashed through the rubble onto the next before crashing into another building.
Yuta's body ached intensely

He felt nothing.
Maybe it was due to the fact that he was running on adrenaline at the moment but Yuta didn't care
"Sorry Yuta, should I come out and assist you"
"No Luna, I can't have them discovering you"
His reasoning although flawed was correct and Luna couldn't argue

Luna said gripping the edge of her cloth tightly
"No buts" Yuta spoke calmly

As Yuta conversed with Luna, Slurig dashed towards that building
Clenching his fight, Slurig attempted to strike Yuta once more.
The force which he carried Slurig twisted his fists, he was rather prepared to break a few of Yuta's ribs

Yuta slipped into the darkness before reappearing behind Slurig's shadow

Yuta sword enveloped in black flames as he slashed at unimaginable speed
As Yuta sword was about to strike Slurig, he turned instinctively
Every hair of Yuta's body stood on its end.

As Yuta's sword was about to strike Slurig body, Slurig kicked Yuta away sending him flying
The kick carried impact as Yuta felt a few of his ribs crack a little

Staring at the ground where its feet resided was a poodle
A stick and black stench of blood which displayed human bodies
Whether it be male, female or children, it feasted on them regardless as long as it could gain strength
In a calm yet dreadful tone, it spoke
"Humans are stupid creatures"
