On every screen, every public holo-display, and every private communication channel across the former Principality of Zeon's sphere of influence, the figure of Vertin appeared. She stood upon the bridge of a captured Federation warship, her pose both defiant and regal.
"Today!" her voice boomed, sharp and full of righteous fury. "We take back our homeland from the Federation! We have the will, the power, and the absolute conviction to purge the stain of their tyranny from our homes! March with me! I will lead you to glory! SIEG ZEON!"
The response was instant, a deafening wave of unified sound that washed through the broadcast channels
"SIEG ZEON!"
"SIEG ZEON!"
"SIEG ZEON!"
Meanwhile deep in the black expanse of space, the 57th Neo Delaz F Division sliced through the void, their objective: the formidable fortress of Solomon.
Inside the cramped cockpit of the RX-78GP02A Gundam "Physalis", the ace pilot Anavel adjusted his flight controls. Beside him, a fellow pilot, a grizzled man in a standard Gelgoog, hailed him over the comms.
"Yo, Anavel, you ready?"
Anavel gripped the controls, his grin hidden beneath his helmet. "Yes, I am ready."
"You know, they say MS Girls are the future of combat, all that fancy tech and skill," the grizzled pilot quipped, his tone slightly sarcastic. "But us pilots? We're the real deal. The ones with the guts."
"No matter what," Anavel countered coolly, his eyes fixed on the target data scrolling across his HUD."Having an MS Girl on your side will always tip the scales. For us pilots, underestimating an MS Girl is stupid thinking."
"True enough," the pilot conceded. "But then aga—"
The ship's captain cut across their private channel, his voice echoing over the main comms. "All pilots! We are getting closer to Solomon! Prepare to launch!"
Suddenly, a massive mobile suit, a modified Gundam equipped with an enormous, reinforced shield, was ejected from the flagship's catapult.
"Magnificent," Anavel breathed, watching the colossal machine. "this is a superb mobile suit."
"I think so, too, sir," the grizzled pilot agreed as his own Gelgoog followed.
"What!? Alert! Unidentified ships are headed here!" a desperate voice screeched over the Federation's defensive comms—the last words of a poor GM C-Type pilot before a Zeon beam round silenced him.
The 57th Neo Delaz F Division's attack on Solomon had begun, catching the Federation forces completely off guard.
Inside the primary command center of Solomon, chaos reigned.
"Commander! What are your orders?" an officer shouted over the console alarms.
The commander, known only as 'The Reincarnator,' slammed his fist on the tactical display. "Begin the counter-attack! Send every pilot to fight! Prepare to hold the line until reinforcements arrive!"
"Understood!" The officer saluted stiffly and dashed out.
The Reincarnator ran a weary hand across his face. "Damn it all! We have no MS Girls in this base—just standard pilots! And the Zeon attack force? They're saturated with them! This battle just got ten times harder."
In the fray, a Federation GM C-Type pilot strained against his controls, frantically trying to lock onto a streaking Gelgoog.
"What the hell! These Zeeks are moving too fast!" He couldn't land a single hit.
"These GMs suck at aiming," a Gelgoog pilot sneered before his beam machine gun carved a swathe through multiple enemy units.
"Anavel!" The captain's voice cut through the noise. "You have permission to fire the weapon! MS Teams Five and Nine are your escort!"
"Understood!" Anavel roared, pushing his Gundam to maximum output, boosting directly toward the fortress.
Shing!
A beam shot narrowly missed his head. The grizzled Gelgoog pilot had shoved Anavel's Gundam aside, taking the near-miss on his own shield.
"Anavel! Go! We will handle them!" the veteran screamed, immediately engaging a swarm of GMs.
Anavel pushed past the battle, the immense, terrifying Atomic Bazooka mounted on his mobile suit. He drew closer, aiming for the heart of the Federation fleet.
"For the rebirth of the ideals of Zeon," he whispered, a fervent gleam in his eyes. "For the success of Operation Stardust! Solomon, I have returned!"
He fired.
A blinding, incandescent light erupted, engulfing the space station and the surrounding fleet. Ships, GMs, and everything in its path simply ceased to exist, replaced by a momentary, terrifying sun.
"So beautiful," Anavel murmured, watching the light fade.
"Everyone! Solomon is open! CHARGE!"
On the war-torn surface of Earth, an outdated Zaku II head tumbled to the dust, severed by the searing blade of a GM II MS Girl's beam saber.
"Retreat!" a Zaku II MS Girl screamed, attempting to evade the pursuing GM C-Type MS Girl who was relentlessly spraying her with beam fire.
"Where are the reinforcements!" the Zaku Girl cried out just before a blast hit her left arm, vaporizing the limb.
"Ahhh!" she shrieked, then the GM MS Girl kicked her into a nearby rock formation.
"Hahaha! You think your outdated suits can keep up with us? Pathetic!" the Federation MS Girl gloated, aiming her beam gun down at her defeated foe.
The Zaku II MS Girl looked up, a sly, painful smirk crossing her face.
"What the hell is funny, huh?"
"It's just that..." The Zaku Girl's voice was weak, but satisfied. "We had more than enough time to get you distracted."
The Federation MS Girl whirled around, too late. A Gelgoog Ground Type MS Girl had closed the distance, plunging her Beam Naginata directly through the GM's chest. The Federation girl slumped, dead.
"You okay?" the Gelgoog pilot asked, trying to help the Zaku Girl up.
"I am fine," the Zaku Girl gasped. "Just get me to a repair depot."
"We are losing ground! Zeon is pushing us back! They are taking Odessa! Send reinforcements!" a Federation soldier cried into his radio.
He was cut short as multiple HLVs (Heavy-Lift Vehicles) dropped from the sky, landing with thunderous impact. Piloted Zaku IIs, Doms, and Gelgoogs erupted from the containers, slamming into the tattered Federation defensive line.
"Push them back! SIEG ZEON!" a Dom Troopen MS Girl yelled, firing her Heavy Bazooka into the Federation trenches.
"AHH!" A Zaku II MS Girl screamed as she fell, cut down by the arriving reinforcements: GM Customs and Powered GMs.
"Federation advanced MS Girls spotted! We need reinforcements!" an officer yelled.
"Understood," a voice crackled back over the comms. "Sending a team of Gelgoogs and Doms." The connection cut out.
Meanwhile, at the California Base, the coastal waters churned. Zeon aquatic Mobile Suits—G-Gok, Z'Gok, and Agguguy—surfaced in a devastating, coordinated assault.
"Surprise! Zeon is back!" a Z'Gok MS Girl crowed, her claw tearing apart a GM Aqua unit.
"Alert the base!" an Aqua GM MS Girl shrieked before a Gogg's Mega Particle Beam cannon evaporated her.
Federation ships burned on the water as the Zeon underwater units ran rampant. Simultaneously, HLV transports landed near the base and Gaw attack carriers dropped multiple piloted Mobile Suits and MS Girls.
Vertin stood on the captured Pegasus-class ship, its bridge window overlooking the colossal Federation fleet guarding Side 3—their former home.
"Heh," i said, my voice dripping with venomous confidence, broadcast live to the cheering citizens below. "Today we will take back our homeland from the scum known as the Federation! Now, my brothers and sisters, we have returned! SIEG ZEON!"
I struck my signature, cool pose as the citizens of Side 3 erupted into a fresh wave of frenzied chanting.
"SIEG ZEON!"
"SIEG ZEON!"
"SIEG ZEON!"
Inside the Federation command post on Side 3, the grim reality set in.
"This is bad," a Federation officer muttered, watching the citizens' becoming rebellious.
"Yes," the one next to him agreed, his face pale and set. "This is real bad."
