After obtaining the knowledge of the Mind Domain he wanted from Green Light Serapis, Leyton had been engrossed in books and the development of secret arts.

It wasn't until Klein, with sweat on his forehead, knocked on the downstairs door that Leyton still used his analyzed Door ability to connect the study door with the downstairs living room door.

After Klein noticed the change in the door, he pushed it open and walked directly into the study on the second floor.

Leyton glanced at the sweat on Klein's forehead and asked, "Are you hot?"

"A little. I bought a Mystical Item, and its negative effect is that it makes one feel as if they are in a hot summer."

As Klein spoke, he displayed the dark gold, sun brooch shaped like a sunbird, which he held in his hand.

"Hmm." Leyton nodded slightly, snapped his fingers, and a cool breeze instantly filled the study.

In the cold winter, this coolness was a bit biting. However, for Klein, it was just right; he felt the heat on his body dissipate a lot.

This time, Leyton didn't pour Klein coffee, but rather a glass of juice. He held the poured juice in his hand, and a thin layer of white frost quickly covered the glass.

"Here, iced juice. I think this is more suitable for your current appetite!"

Klein took the cold glass, exhaled a long breath, and a slight smile appeared on his face as he said, "You seem exceptionally skilled at casting spells."

"This is inevitable. Whether it's a Reader or a Mystery Pryer, both are Pathways skilled in spellcasting."

Leyton nodded noncommittally, then added, "Don't drink too fast. The burning sensation on your body is just an illusion. Your body's True feeling should be cold."

Klein nodded lightly and said, "I understand."

"Miss Sharron is already selecting an ambush location. The operation should commence within the next two days."

Leyton nodded slightly in response, "I know. Just notify me when you act. I should be staying home reading during this period."

Klein's eyes held a hint of doubt as he repeatedly scrutinized Leyton.

Leyton returned a questioning look.

"Cough, I feel like you've changed a bit."

Klein raised the glass of iced juice in his hand and said very seriously.

After a brief silence, Leyton quickly composed himself and said, "Two days ago, Red Light Aiur Moria reminded me that my humanity was a bit unstable. I am currently adjusting my state."

Klein frowned slightly, and his tone was somewhat worried as he asked, "Humanity unstable? Is there any way to solve it?"

"Advance as soon as possible."

Leyton reached out and pointed to the stack of books on the desk.

Klein's gaze swept over the stack of roughly bound books on the desk, and he could probably guess that he was preparing to develop new secret arts again.

"I understand. Then I won't disturb you for now. If you need help, you can come find me anytime."

He nodded to Leyton and then took his leave.

After Klein left, Leyton re-immersed himself in the ocean of knowledge.

As he flipped through the book, he couldn't help but sigh, "Unconsciously, I've actually fallen in love with reading. If it were me half a year ago, I would probably drown in the ocean of knowledge!"

The next morning, Leyton got up, washed up, and went downstairs to the dining room to enjoy the breakfast prepared by Bugs Bunny.

"Knock, knock~"

A knock sounded, and then the door creaked open by itself.

Klein looked at the automatically opening door, then turned to look at the newspapers and envelopes that had popped out of the mailbox behind him.

Klein restrained his impulse to activate his Spirit Vision. He felt that a Spirit recovered by a crow could not be too normal, and it was better not to see these Spirits to avoid polluting his eyes.

After entering the house, Klein walked directly to the dining room, pulled out a chair, sat down, and then said, "Miss Sharron is ready. We'll meet at the back door of Bravehearts Bar at 10 PM tonight."

"Hmm, I understand. You go ahead first. Wraiths are also good at divination, so I need to keep my presence concealed. Otherwise, those indulgent guys might just run away."

Leyton replied while eating his breakfast.

Klein nodded lightly and said, "Okay."

At 10 PM, in the alley behind Bravehearts Bar.

Klein, dressed in a black double-breasted long formal coat and a black semi-tall top hat, strolled leisurely towards the nearest street.

Just as he reached the alley entrance, a carriage stopped in front of him. Behind the glass window were a pair of black eyes that constantly suppressed malice.

Klein calmly pressed his semi-tall top hat, gripped his sturdy cane, and boarded the carriage.

"There's one more, isn't there?" Maric scanned Klein and the empty alley behind him, his brows gradually furrowing.

"He's concealed. Wraiths are skilled in divination, and he doesn't want the other party to retreat because they sense his presence."

Maric pinched his furrowed brows, still sounding somewhat suspicious as he said, "Your attire is not suitable for combat."

Klein smiled with ease and said, "My Beyonder abilities are different from yours, and my fighting style is also different. This kind of attire will not cause any negative impact, and it's even quite suitable for me."

As he explained, he also took out three tranquilizers from a concealed pocket inside his clothes—the special tranquilizers he had bought from that stout Apothecary at the previous gathering.

On the other side of the carriage window, a translucent, ethereal figure quickly materialized.

It was Miss Sharron, dressed in a black court gown and wearing a small, soft cap.

Sharron's azure eyes looked at Klein, and her voice drifted as she said, "You explained too much; it wasn't natural."

"Probably because I'm a little nervous."

Klein eased his embarrassment with a smile and responded.

He then handed the three tranquilizers he was holding to Maric: "You find an opportunity to drink them yourself. You're definitely more experienced than I am."

Maric took the tranquilizers, gently shook the liquid inside, and looked at the sealed, transparent glass test tubes: "No problem."

Klein nodded slightly and then asked other questions: "Will you be harmed by Purification?"

"Zombies will, and I will too when I'm in my Spirit Body state."

Sharron's answer was very concise and clear.

Klein nodded, then asked about the effects of other types of damage.

After about ten minutes, the Zombie driving the carriage reined in the horses. The carriage stopped in a dilapidated building's dark, layered area, and the sound of rushing water could be heard not far away.

Maric explained, "This place has been abandoned for a year and is about to be converted into the West Bayland Shipyard. Our designated ambush location is in the warehouse area."

Klein got out of the carriage, looked around, and began to recall the surroundings.

"The abandoned shipyard… If anything unexpected happens, the Tussock River is the best escape route. According to what I learned before, if you go out from here and walk about two kilometers northwest, there's a Lever Church belonging to the God of Steam and Machinery."

After walking for a few minutes, Klein and his companions arrived at an open space surrounded by several warehouses.

Maric pointed to a wooden box quietly placed in a dim corner and said, "That's the dynamite you wanted."

Sharron looked around, her gaze lingering on the roof of a certain warehouse for a moment before moving away.

Her voice, ethereal and faint, said to Klein, "You make your preparations here. We'll go lure the enemy over. This won't take more than thirty minutes, so please manage your time well."

"Communicate well with your friend. It's best to wait until the scarlet moon coronet appears before you use that eye to find Steve and launch a surprise attack on him."

Klein listened carefully, nodded slightly, and chuckled, "A very simple plan."

"The simpler the plan, the more effective it is," Sharron responded calmly.

After the exchange, Sharron's figure instantly vanished, and Maric also quickly ran out of the shipyard.

Klein walked to the wooden box containing the dynamite, took out the sticks of dynamite, and prepared to bury them in different corners and different warehouses.

The nearby shadows suddenly distorted, and Leyton, dressed in a light brown long trench coat with a stand-collar gray wool sweater underneath, emerged from the shadows, holding a bone staff.

Klein's gaze lingered on the bone staff in Leyton's hand, which was about the length of an adult's forearm. This bone staff gave him a very strong sense of ominousness and darkness.

"After you find the Wraith, attack him first. I won't actively observe the Wraith's position, as that would break my concealed state."

After reminding Klein, the surrounding shadows once again wriggled, covering Leyton's figure, and he vanished from the spot.

"Okay." Klein said to the empty space in front of him, not caring if the other party had heard, and left the corner with the gunpowder.

After burying all the dynamite, Klein took out his revolver again, adjusted the bullet ratio inside, changing it to three Purification bullets and two Exorcism bullets.

He also scattered some matches and cut-out paper figures in inconspicuous locations.

After doing all this, Klein surveyed the surrounding environment, confirmed that nothing was missed, then took out the sun brooch from the iron box and pinned it to his left chest.

He climbed onto the roof of a nearby warehouse and hid in the shadows.

"Snap!" He snapped his fingers, and the paper figure he had previously thrown into the gap between the two warehouses immediately gained strength, turning into his likeness and standing there.

On the opposite warehouse roof, Leyton sat in a patch of shadow, his aura and figure completely concealed, silently watching Klein's busy preparations below.

Not long after, three figures approached from the distance at extremely high speed.

Maric, running at the very front, was faster than a Steam train at its peak. With a whoosh, his figure arrived at the entrance of the open space.
