Kiara gulped hard, then let out a sigh, followed by placing her palm on her forehead in support while she played with the chopping stick on the food.
"Why did you want to leave? Is there anything you're lacking here?" Philip was bothered by that sudden decision. It hadn't even been a day since she moved in, and now she was declaring her intention to leave.
"Come on, Kiara, I've always told you to open up to me if you're having a problem," Philip continued. He held her jaw, trying to raise her head to look him in the face but she shrugged off his hand.
She rolled her eyes and gulped down, still playing with the food. "I… I," she sighed. "Nothing, actually," she denied.
"Come on, Kiara. You can't just decide to leave my place without having any valid reasons," he replied.
"Well, I needed to go fix something in my hometown. Once that is done, I'll come back to visit you."
