"I'm really sorry for downplaying your efforts and laughing at your drawing," Nina pleaded as she walked over to him and squatted down to talk with him.
Marcus said nothing but covered his face with his palms.
"You still get mad over little things, and you were telling me that you have changed. Where exactly did you change, then?" she said.
Marcus sighed and took his palms off his face and looked at her in the face.
"Little things, you say?"
"Well, I'm sorry. Little things or big things, the best thing is that I admitted my errors and apologized for them," she added. She held his hand, trying to get him up, but Marcus refused.
