"It's obvious that you want this just as I do, so why are you acting up?" Marcus remarked. He didn't stop as requested.
"You're insane," Nina cursed at him. She kicked and pushed him out of her body, then grabbed her luggage and fled.
Unfortunately for Marcus, he was kicked in his groin, so he was feeling intense pain. He couldn't scream or chase after her. In fact, he was completely unconscious, and wolves can't shift when unconscious.
None of Marcus' guards were present to witness what happened or stop her. There was no way they would stay and watch their boss engage with a lady romantically in the first place; hence, they were absent.
Fortunately for Nina, she wasn't the one carrying the heavy bag; if she had been, she would not have succeeded in exiting the aircraft within seconds.
"I can never go on a vacation with a man who nearly ruined my life," she mumbled to herself as she descended from the staircase.
