Hunter suddenly smiled darkly and moved.
A short dagger appeared in his hand as he thrust it forward in a swift, calculated motion.
Sorrowful's body moved on reflex, but he still couldn't dodge, blood flowed out as he staggered back with a pained groan.
Stopping, he raised his head and looked at Hunter with rage.
"You…"
A long bloody scar marred his face, running from bottom right to the top left temple through the eyes.
Hunter straightened his back and smiled pleasantly.
"Impressive, I was actually going for the kill."
Sorrowful kept his hand on his wounded eye as blood flowed between his fingers and fell on the ground below.
"How…can you still move?"
Hunter chuckled.
"How would I know?"
Hunter really didn't know—when time stopped, he felt that he could somehow move, he didn't let that chance skip and used it to trick Sorrowful into coming close.
Although he was warned by Null, saving him from a sudden death. Hunter still felt good.
'I knew, It won't be that easy.'
Though, he did have a suspicion of what caused this strange phenomenon.
'The Invitation Card?'
MisinformationSpreader scowled.
"He…he could also see through my illusions. How is it possible?"
Then, Null's eerie voice resounded again in the ruined warehouse with a demonic laugh.
"Someone with the same blood as mine running through their veins can never fall to these petty tricks."
