"Us?" the woman asked.
"We are the elite unit of the Divine Saber. Have you ever heard of the Sovereign Sword Army?" she asked again.
Agares shook his head. He had never heard that name in his entire life. Milenia never mentioned it, and neither did Louise. This was his first time hearing it—from them directly.
"Oh come on, what did you people study in Virelion?"
"Alright then, where's your squad? Let me meet them."
He stayed silent, and so did Aoi. The woman kept rambling about Virelion and the army. Was her memory stuck in the Virelion era?
"There's no one."
"Did they die?"
"I'm the last Saber in the world," Agares explained.
"HAHAHA! You're kidding, right? There's no way you'd say that—we're the strongest!"
Agares squinted. Something felt off about them. It was like there was a memory implanted in their minds.
That triggered his suspicion and raised his curiosity.
"Tell me. Who was your last Divine Saber?" asked Agares.
"Leonard!"
