Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Elias Thorne (5)

As the stalemate continued longer a voice cut through the room,

"Alright, alright, the two of you never seemed to get along always tearing at each at first sight, stop this squabble do you want to bring this building down"

Unfortunately neither of them seemed to have heard, An old man with white lustrous white gray hair appeared although old his face was vibrant, he stood straight, if it wasn't for his hair an slightly old face you wouldn't know he was old, seeing no seemed to be listening to him he shook his head and spoke again this time the warmth in his voice seemed to have faded a bit

"Excuse me do i need to repeat myself again, before you two stop acting like children"

Finally it seemed like they both heeded his words and stopped the Director shook his head, and walked back to seat with Mark, this time his legs no longer crossed a cup of tea from nowhere appeared in his hands he drank it all in one go then turned to look at the old man, the old man a kind smile gracing his face said to him

"Samuel your just back from the Eldritch realm and already looking for trouble, won't you calm down a bit"

Samuel looked at the old man for a few seconds before pointing his finger together Dilton, saying

"He started it"

Dilton anger once again rose through the roof, while the old man smiled, Dilton took deep breaths calming his breath before speaking, tapping the table

"enough of this, Samuel how do you explain the mess that occurred in your own house"

Samuel waved his hands, and began

speaking "that's why am here, i sensed two energy signatures colliding in this direction, and rushed back to investigate, although it seems i was too late from the crowd outside"

The old man shook his head, and stroked his beard, speaking "We picked up a breach in Static Expanse, but then it dissappered, and we thought it was an interference, but its the strangest thing we did not pick up any eldritch presence in Material world until everything happened and the eldritch in question disappeared before we discovered a problem occured"

The room fell into silence everyone deep in thought until a voice sounded filled with trepadition sounded in the room, it was Mark

"Actually about the report, there was something I was planning to report directly to you sir after the news conference,"

Mark said turning his head his head to the old man

"In the causality report the children did not die but we had to write it as they died, because their body's were never found"
