hand in his, the quiet moments when the world felt perfect.

Klaus's focus shattered. The boy who once topped his class now skipped lessons just to be near Kelly.

His grades slipped; teachers whispered their concerns. Parents questioned, but Klaus ignored them, lost

in the gravity of Kelly's presence.

Kelly, too, was imperfect. Her brilliance sometimes made her brittle. She was careless with herself —

forgetting meals, losing sleep, letting frustrations spill over. They argued — often over small things that

ballooned into hurtful words. Yet, they made up, clinging to the love they believed would survive

anything.

One cold, rainy afternoon, Kelly's patience broke. She told Klaus she couldn't continue. The weight of
