Adam was left alone for a moment as Lyra was instantly teleported away. He then met up with the surviving human kings.
"Please, I beg of you, help to rebuild the kingdom for us," all of the kings requested Adam's assistance. Adam remembered the betrayal and still felt disgusted by their behavior.
"I'll talk to all of you later," Adam said, showing his contempt.
Adam looked at the others nearby who were still dazed about what had happened.
"Johan, have you healed?" Adam asked.
"Yeah, I'm glad I wasn't affected by the reset. I'm still able to retain my human self," Johan replied.
Six out of forty five heroes retained their human bodies. The heroes group who went through evolution and still retained their species as human came together towards Adam.
"All six of you will have to lead humankind," Adam stated firmly. "That includes clearing this dungeon. Since everyone here has gone through the evolution process, your power and stats are far stronger than the rest of the humankind. You should check your skills and class inside your Status window. It is now on your hands to train and guide humanity. Do not allow the kings to use your power since they lack integrity and wisdom in governing the kingdom."
"We abide by your command, Adam," the heroes spoke, kneeling down to Adam.
"Please get up, you fought valiantly alongside us. I'm grateful for your help," Adam said.
"You're our benefactor. Without your guidance, we couldn't have reached this power. We will take your words as our oath," one of the heroes replied.
The New Kingdom Order
"Alright, then I'm not worried about the future of humankind," Adam continued. "I'll rebuild the kingdom and separate them into six sections. Each one of you will be in charge of helping and training the humans. I'm removing the kings of their title and putting Johan as the King. Decisions will be made by the six of you. The King will approve of any changes in legislation and laws in the kingdom."
"Me? KING? Adam, are you seriously putting that responsibility on me? I'm the last person you would want the title to be," Johan rebuked.
"No, we don't agree. All of us don't agree!" The five former kings came together to deny Adam's words.
"Everyone else who chooses to follow these fools who regard themselves as kings, you can choose to follow them," Adam shouted towards the kings and the people behind them. "However, it won't be the kingdom I will create. Go and make your own kingdom somewhere else."
"How dare you! We are the kings! Everyone else here will follow us. You are to obey our orders and rebuild the kingdom!" one of the kings shouted.
"Yes, listen, everyone else agrees to our words!" another king said.
Everyone else behind them went quiet. They slowly began moving towards Adam, signaling their agreement with his command. As people started walking away, the five kings started begging and pulling them back from going to Adam. People pushed their hands away. As the five kings realized no one wanted to follow them, they felt the sudden need for self-preservation to avoid exile.
"Please, Adam, I'll listen to your command. Let me stay inside the kingdom," the five kings begged and pleaded.
"I'll let the current King and the six Heroes decide your fate!" Adam said, turning towards Johan. "Johan, I put my trust in your decision. You have the power and the need to protect this kingdom since your family is alive. Having the six heroes to help govern the kingdom, you don't have to worry about the heavy work of governing. You just need to make important decisions for the kingdom. I trust that you can do that." Adam patted Johan's shoulder.
"Alright, when you put it like that, I understand why," Johan accepted. "The five former kings are to be removed of their wealth. You will work your way up as a common man." The six heroes agreed to the judgment.
