Chapter 375 - You Are Her Odr

After a few drinks, Licht wasn't drunk as Loom started to talk. Loom laughed and said, "Hey man, you should hear this. Apparently there was this big name called Team Liebe, yet we wiped the floor with them. It was hilarious. Apparently they were supposed to be the personal forces of a prince of something. I had a friend help me out, and they were easy."

Licht said, "Interesting. But how did you beat them? They sounded tough."

Loom said, "They were nothing without magic, and a few shots is what it took."

Licht said, "Wow, that must have been easy."

Loom said, "Yeah. Me and my 5 siblings did it. We are Team Argot, and it was easy."

Licht said, "How did you do it? I must know. No, I'm dying to know."

Loom said, "My brother gave me some good gear, and we wiped the floor with those losers. But we couldn't do what we were supposed to. Apparently we needed to kill as many as we could, take in the devil girl, and off the leader and the other guy."

Licht said, "So what happened? I hope they weren't too much trouble."

Loom said, "No, no. But apparently the big bad wasn't there. But we got the girls. And I don't know what the hell happened, but that lucky bastard wasn't there. And as we were leaving with the girls, this black darkness came, and that one bitch actually hurt me with daggers. But I shot her 5 times, and that made sure to keep her in place. And then we had some fun with the girls after leaving. There was this one that was squeaking about some Iris and Hedin, so I shut her up with a few stabs and shots. And then there was this tiny one—she was fun. And the other one, she just said all we wanted. She kept crying like a baby and told us apparently it was the bastard who did that. Can you actually believe it? That one guy destroyed a mall where magic was basically useless."

Licht said, "Quite unbelievable indeed."

As Loom said, "You should have seen the other one. She kept crying and moaning when I had my way with her. They say a deer and lion can live in the same forest, but not the same cage. Guess it was true. That bastard should have stayed in Eldoria."

Licht, now clenching his fists, silently smiled and said, "Mia, is my drink ready yet?"

Mia said, "Yes, sir. Warm and molten, just how you like it."

Licht said, "Oh well, then I suppose this bastard is mine. Feel free to kill anyone and everyone."

As Loom took a sip, Licht kicked the glass into his mouth, making him bleed. Licht took off his disguise and said, "I have had enough of this BS."

Loom said, "What is the meaning of this?"

Licht said, "A return gift."

As the siblings were together versus Licht, Mia, and Lichee, Licht punched Loom, but Loom used the Z Jammers. Loom smirked and said, "Not so tough, shit, without your magic."

As Licht used his rapier to break the compact devices, Licht said, "You seriously think that trick will work on us twice?" As he kicked Loom to the table. Even when the other siblings tried to use their Z Jammers, they were shot by Mia and broken by Mia and by Licht's attack.

Licht said, "Lichee, feel free to clean the bar, but these bastards are mine. And Mia, is the door closed?"

Mia said, "Yes, sir. Molten closed."

Licht said, "Good."

As Mia and Lichee fought everyone, Licht engaged the main enemy. It wasn't much of a battle, more like a one-sided torture. As he grabbed two of the siblings by the throats and pinned them against the wall, Loom had Mia with the cuffs.

Loom said, "Stop now, or else she dies!"

Licht said, "One chance. Let her go, or else I won't be so merciful." As the temperature began to rise and his hands became hot enough to melt stone as he squeezed their throats.

The girl said, "Brother, please let her go!"

The boy said, "He is killing us!"

Loom said, "Let them go, or else she won't live!" As he had a gun pointed at her head.

Licht said, "I'm done." As he loosened the grip, Lichee used her chain attack to impale Loom's arms and legs with the chain edges.

Lichee said, "You will die! Abyssal Gate!"

Licht said, "Saint's Light!" In a slash, the chains and Loom's left arm were severed.

Licht said, "Lichee, are you trying to turn him to dust? These bastards will not die yet. They need to receive every wound back a thousandfold. They touched us, and our leader will show them." As he grabbed Loom's throat and picked him up, he said, "Killing you now is too good. You need to stay alive till then. Liebe will show what pain is. And if you want to live that badly, tell Zeto to stay the hell away from Liebe's cage." As he slammed him against a wall and said, "Don't die, bastard." And punched a hole straight through his guts.

As they reached the door, Licht easily tore it off the wall, and they left.

While walking, Licht said, "Mia, please get checked by Lumos."

Mia said, "Of course, sir."

Lichee said, "I want to kill all of them, not just the people in the bar."

Licht said, "No. We deserved our own payback, and we got that. And they deserve death by Liebe's hand. They will get that in 2 days."

Later, Liebe came out of the chamber beneath the cathedral, and his communicator buzzed. As he picked up, he stated, "Go for Liebe."

Isurugi said, "Sir, there is an issue at the hospital."

Liebe said, "What is it?"

Isurugi said, "Lord Orion Bouduin is here to see Alysa, and Eosian Bouduin is angry he wasn't informed on any of this. He is demanding you. And Mr. Orion is having a moment with his daughter, and he said he wanted a word."

Liebe said, "OK. I'm coming." As he teleported to the hospital.

As Eosian saw him, he grabbed him by the collar and said, "Faust, how dare you!" And punched him.

Isurugi said, "You little—"

As Liebe stopped Isurugi, Liebe took every hit from Eosian. After Eosian was done, he was breathing heavily as Noir and Aile tried to stop him.

Liebe said, "You done?" As he healed and walked away.

As Eosian screamed, "Faust! How dare you! Why didn't you keep her safe? I won't forgive you, Faust! I knew you weren't right for her! You let her down, Faust! And for that, I will never forgive you! How dare you, Faust, let this happen to my sister!"

As Liebe walked away, he met Orion Bouduin as he was leaving Alysa's room.

Orion said, "Liebe, I heard what happened."

Liebe teared up and said, "I'm sorry, Uncle. I'm sorry I couldn't protect her. It's all my fault. I wish I was the one who died. At least she would be OK now."

Orion said, "No, she wouldn't. She would be in a worse place than you. You are her Odr. She chose you as her Odr. Remember that. And I saw how much you two cared for one another. And the more I saw, the more I wanted to believe. Don't let her down. And know the difference between being strong and being capable is that anyone can be strong, but when someone can remain strong while everyone else has given up, then they are capable. I know you will heal her. You have the look in your eyes—the look of a hero. As much as I'm angry right now, I know you are raging further. Show them your steel. Prove the truth. Show who you are. As a father, nothing hurts more than seeing my daughter in such a state where she is afraid of me." As he went away.

Eosian punched Liebe in the gut. He said, "Faust, I think a half-breed like you is the worst person for my older sister. I still believe she made a mistake choosing you as her champion. And she will never be like she used to. You can never forgive you for that. But if you are a man, prove me wrong." As Eosian went away.

Isurugi said, "Sir, did you take it?"

Liebe said, "Yeah. I deserve that at least."

Isurugi said, "You aren't mad?"

Liebe said, "I'm mad alright. I'm burning with hatred."

Isurugi said, "I hate the Baladian team as well, sir. I want payback, as everyone does."

But Liebe said, "No. I don't hate the Baladian team. Not in the slightest. I hate every living being in that nation. Everyone in that nation—regardless of age, race, or gender—must perish. They took something precious from me. And their citizens helped the corrupted. They made the way. Even after that, the ones who did it are roaming free. They are living like nothing. No one asked why from that nation. No one helped. They were left alone. And everyone must pay for that. Everyone will pay with their lives. They will see their end like Olivia saw. They will witness despair like Alysa. The People's Republic of Baledia will be wiped clean from the face of the world along with every one of its citizens. And as for how to save her, I found a way. But it requires a fate worse than death to heal her mentally and physically."
