The next day, as Liebe woke up, he said, "Well, today sure feels nice."
Licht, 90% asleep, said, "Let me sleep."
Liebe said, "Sure, but remember we have a training session with Iris and Olivia."
While 90% asleep, Licht said, "Iris?" In an instant, he was standing beside Liebe, fully prepared. "What the hell are you doing, Liebe?"
Liebe said, "Good. Let's get going."
As they left the room, they bumped into Alysa. Alysa said, "Good morning."
Liebe said, "Good morning."
Alysa said, "Let's make breakfast."
Liebe said, "Sure."
Alysa said, "What do you want for breakfast?"
Licht said, "Waffles."
Liebe said, "Chicken."
Alysa said, "Let's make chicken and waffles, but with a twist."
Liebe said, "Twist?"
Licht said, "Please don't."
Liebe said, "So, what's the twist?"
Alysa said, "My legs sure are tired from all that running last night, so why don't I cook and you carry me on your arms? Sounds romantic, right?"
Liebe said, "Romantic, huh? Let me thi—" As he was struck by lightning inside the building and burned to a crisp, he said, "Yes, of course."
From afar, Álfrinn said, "Hare-brain nincompoop! I thought I said to bestow her with the greatest happiness the world has ever seen, or continue bringing her joy every day!"
While they were cooking, Licht said, "I don't know why, but seeing you two like this feels weird."
Liebe and Alysa said, "Why? Isn't it normal for couples to be doing stuff like this?"
Licht said, "But… indoors?"
Liebe said, "This is indoors."
Licht said, "I'm sorry I asked."
While cooking, Elizabeth entered. Elizabeth, half asleep, said, "Sis, what's for breakfast?" As she saw them cooking together, Elizabeth said, "I was going to ask for breakfast, but I see, Brother, you are already having breakfast."
Liebe said, "Hey, it's not like that—actually, it is. God damn, it's like that."
Elizabeth said, "When you're done, can I have something to eat? I'm starving."
Then Lilith and Gelda entered. Lilith said, "I'm hungry."
Gelda said, "Breakfast would be nice."
As they saw Liebe and Alysa, Lilith said, "Tenebris, it has finally happened. Liebe finally has shown his romantic side."
Gelda said, "Tenebris, I have not failed you. Liebe didn't grow up to be like your muscle-for-brain gorilla wife. He actually knows what romance is. I'm so glad I raised that boy."
Liebe said, "You guys done?"
As Lilith and Gelda stared, they said, "Not yet."
As they made breakfast and served it, Lilith said, "I must say, it has been so long since I saw someone make and eat breakfast at once."
Gelda said, "Agreed. Back when Lilith and Tenebris were a thing, Lilith was the one carrying Tenebris—otherwise, the kitchen would have been burned down."
Lilith said, "Hey, that's a lie. Actually, the whole house would have been burned down. So, what's the plan for today?"
Liebe said, "Aren't we supposed to take everyone to the Abyssal Zone or Valhala Island to train with the whole team—and Iris, Olivia, Hedin, and Lumos?"
Lilith said, "Let's do it. Let's leave right now and train till dawn."
As Gelda placed her hand in front of her mouth and coughed, Lilith said, "As tempting as it is, I'm feeling a bit tired from last night. So, how about we go shopping, watch a movie, and, like, get you some fresh casual clothes with Alysa? Buy a few games to play, make you look fashionable and elegant."
Hearing this, Liebe stared for a bit. As he stood up, placed one hand on his forehead and the other on Lilith's, Lilith said, "What are you doing?"
Liebe said, "Checking if either one of us has a fever. But seems like I was incorrect."
As Gelda laughed a bit, Lilith said, "I actually thought about it. So, if it's okay with you, then let's go buy some things, I suppose."
Liebe said, "How about we train first, then do that stuff? Since if we go shopping first, then the clothes will just get ruined."
Lilith said, "Okay, then."
Liebe said, "Then that's a plan. Licht, you and me—we are getting Iris and Olivia. And Isurugi, get Hedin and Lumos."
Isurugi said, "Of course, sir. But actually, unfortunately, Alysa, I, Fate, Gaia, and M won't be able to join for today's training session since we are busy."
Liebe said, "M saying no to a training session—now that's a shock."
Isurugi said, "Yes, she was quite sick, I suppose."
Liebe said, "Okay, then. And tell her I said get well soon or something."
Isurugi said, "Of course, sir."
Alysa said, "And Liebe, if it's okay with you, is it okay if I join you for the shopping thing after lunch? By then, my work will also be done."
Liebe said, "Sure. But why are you guys suddenly so excited about shopping? Did you like awaken the shopping genes or something?"
Licht said, "Of course not. It's just we thought it'd be cool to stay in fashion."

Licht said, "Let's get going, otherwise we don't want to keep Iris and Olivia waiting."

As they went to Iris and Olivia's dorms, Liebe said, "Are you guys planning something?"
Licht said, "Why think that?"
Liebe said, "Because you have been thinking about clothes shopping a bit too much—like, to an unhealthy level."
Licht said, "Is that so? Guess we wanted to do something as a group and thought of shopping since we are always fighting and all."
Liebe said, "Makes sense."
As they got to the door to Iris's room, Liebe knocked and said, "Iris, Olivia—it's me, Liebe. Time for our morning training session."
As Iris said, "Olivia, it's Liebe."
Iris said, "It appears our life ends here."
Olivia said, "It has been nice knowing you."
Iris said, "Wait, I have a plan. What if we use the Masks of Ifrit—our demonic models—and transform? In this way, they won't recognize us."
Olivia said, "If it means we will survive, let's do it. Also, I can't feel my legs anymore."
Olivia said, "I know—I've been crawling all morning."
As they put on the masks, Iris transformed into Stolas and Olivia transformed into Morax. The transformation sound was heard by Liebe and Licht.
Liebe said, "Are you guys okay in there?"
As there was no response, Licht said, "What if someone saw them with us yesterday and sent an assassin?"
Liebe showed with his hands that then they follow Plan Zeta. As he said, "Iris, Olivia—I'm coming in. If you're okay, say so."
As nothing was heard, Liebe burst through the door. They saw Stolas and Morax—a bull and an owl.
Liebe saw this and said, "Demi-humans? Licht, see this." As he pointed his sword toward them and said, "Who are you, and what have you done to Iris and Olivia?"
Olivia said, "We ate them."
Liebe said, "I see. To think you dare—" As he shed tears, he said, "I will end you for coming after my friends. Now—Vesta Grand Blades!"
As his blades were covered in golden flames, he said, "I will end you here and now—Absolute Dark Grand Strike!"
As the strike destroyed more than 20% of the building, Stolas and Morax were left lying on the floor.
Liebe said, "I will do to you what you did to my friends. Now, then—beef and chicken." As he took out his fork and spoon, he said, "You two will make a delicious after-breakfast snack."
As Licht appeared from the other side of the building, he said, "Liebe, wait!"
Liebe said, "What?"
As Licht removed the masks, it turned out it was Iris and Olivia.
When they woke up, Liebe said, "Are you guys okay? I'm so glad you guys are okay. I was so worried."
Licht said, "Good to see you are okay. Let's start today's training session."
While crying, Iris and Olivia said, "Yes, of course," as they screamed, "Oh god, please save us from these psychopaths and just kill us! We can't escape!"
