"Yue? What's wrong?" asked Mikaela, seeing Yue's subdued expression in the St. Ignatius Cafeteria.
"She found out Axel revived Messerschmitt and is feeling inadequate," sighed Adelaide.
"Why?" asked Mikaela.
"He's accomplished so much. What have I done besides pine for him?" asked Yue, starting to tear up.
"There, there, Yue. You're still in school, nobody expects you to go out and build something," said Mikaela, patting Yue on the back.
"I know that. But how do I impress him? I've seen how Chancellor Liesel looks. With Axel in Germany and working with her on military stuff, she's sure to make a move on him! And why wouldn't he accept! She's the Chancellor of Germany! Why would he bother to wait for me?" asked Yue between sniffles.
"Come on, Yue. This isn't like you. You're beautiful as well. I know I give you shit because Axel is older, but I am rooting for you," said Adelaide.
"And it's not like you don't have skills. You're learning archery and dressage," said Yasmin.
