Her words weren't fully a joke, it was a mix of hope. After all, if he actually turned into an evil mage, it would be a disaster.

Gajeel, Natsu and Wendy, who was watching from the side, were shocked by the sudden news bomb drop. And of course, their respective dragons inside their bodies were shocked too.

Shun said, then turned to Laxus and Gildarts.
"You guys are the last hope, since Laxus and Gildarts seem to not be in good condition today." Shun said with a small smile.

'You're asking that now?' Cana and Shun both had the exact same thought.
"Mm, about that…" Shun stole a glance at Cana, who glanced back at him and winked, hoping to give him a sign to be quiet.
Shun immediately understood the sign.

Noticing that everyone was staring awkwardly, Shun announced, "It's over. Nirvana has been destroyed. Go back to the guild. I'll fix the mess and then catch up."
