"So this is Edolas… it really does feel like I've arrived in a completely different world," Mavis muttered, awe clearly visible in her eyes. The others weren't much different.
'Heh, amateurs getting impressed by something so basic,' Shun thought. With his vast experience visiting different worlds, he remained completely unmoved.
"Oh? I really can't use magic here…" Shun muttered. He hadn't eaten the pill Mystogan gave him yet.
"You're right, I just noticed it too," Mavis replied.
"It almost feels like something is blocking me from peeing… it's kinda pissing me off."
"…"
Shun's blunt comparison wasn't exactly well received.
Suddenly Shun closed his eyes and…
"K-KAHH-!"
He let out a strange noise, followed by a small explosion of magic power.
Swoosh!
A powerful gust of wind blew through, making everyone's clothes flutter wildly.
'Oh, this feels good, like finally overcoming constipation,' he thought.
"W-What did you just do?" Cana asked, flustered by the sudden outburst.
"Repelled that annoying restricted feeling," Shun shrugged. "More importantly, there's a suspicious building ahead. It's moving very slowly but steadily."
"Huh? I don't see anything," Mavis said. She squinted seriously in the direction Shun was pointing, but nothing appeared.
'Cute,' Shun thought.
POP-!
Without asking anyone's opinion, Shun created a paw bubble to transport them straight to the suspicious building. Since the trip would take less than five minutes this time, he didn't bother making it comfortable.
"There really is a suspicious building! And it's moving?!"
"That symbol… and that name…"
As they got closer, they saw a strange structure made of giant green vines and branches.
"The appearance seems to be camouflage, and it's moving slowly… almost like they're running from someone," Shun said, sharing his deduction.
"Their situation is a bit complicated…" Mystogan muttered, sounding awkward.
"Well, let's go in and ask."
'Those Anima things are just portals in the end. Lisanna was taken and ended up with Fairy Tail in the original story. So we've arrived near the Edolas version of the Fairy Tail guild, huh,' Shun thought as he opened the gate.
Creaak—
The moment the door opened, the chaotic noise inside instantly fell silent.
"Hello," Shun said casually, giving a small wave.
"…"
"Who the fuck are you?! How did you find us?!"
After a brief silence, a blonde delinquent who seemed to be the leader stepped forward.
"I'm Shun, the guild master of Fairy Tail," Shun introduced himself humbly.
"What? Are you okay in the head?" Edolas Lucy clearly didn't like this intruder one bit.
"…"
'I forgot this world's Lucy is like this. But it's interesting. I should've brought our Lucy along, but she's on vacation,' Shun thought with a sigh before calling for backup.
"Hey, Mystogan. Explain everything to them. That's a guild master's order," Shun said, using his authority.
"This guy really enjoys his new position a bit too much," Cana sighed to the others.
"Haha…" Mavis and the rest couldn't help but laugh a little.
——
After half an hour of "No way! Do you think we're stupid?" reactions, Mystogan finally managed to explain everything.
'Well, Cana, Juvia, and Mira are literally living proof.'
"So there really is a parallel world," Edolas Lucy muttered as she studied them.
"So he really is the guild master in your world?" Edolas Lucy asked.
"Yes, despite his evil appearance, he's a good guy… maybe?" Cana answered, only half sure.
Step. Step.
"You're me from Earth Land?" A very elegant lady in a beautiful white dress and hat approached and asked.
"You're me!" Cana was shocked by how different they were.
Cana and Edolas Cana moved a bit away from the group and started asking each other all kinds of questions.
The same thing happened with Juvia.
Only Mira stayed behind for now, since this world's Strauss family hadn't appeared yet.
Creaak—
Just as they were wondering where this world's Mira and her siblings were, the door opened again and three white-haired siblings walked in.
"Lisanna!" The moment Mira saw her, she wanted to rush over, but…
"Wait, Mira," Shun stopped her.
"Why?"
Shun's words confused both Mira and Lisanna, who still hadn't decided whether to pretend to be the Edolas version of herself. After all, she hadn't been here long.
"She looks a bit different. She might be the Edolas Lisanna," Shun said seriously, unintentionally hurting Lisanna, who thought he didn't recognize her.
"No, Shun. She's our Lisanna. I can tell it's her," Mira said as she carefully observed Lisanna. The longer she looked, the more certain she became.
"Mira-nee!" Lisanna couldn't hold back anymore and ran straight into the embrace of the wilder, more intense Mira, leaving the gentle Edolas Mira behind.
"Lisanna!" Mira immediately caught her in a tight hug.
'Hmm, I thought Lisanna would pretend to be the Edolas version like she did in the original, so I was trying to play along… but I guess it wasn't needed,' Shun sighed. He left the sisters to reunite and walked over to this world's Mira.
"Hello. Are you Mirajane and Elfman from this world?" Shun asked the confused siblings.
Edolas Mira had a kind, bubbly personality. After the accident that caused her strong trauma and grief, people's personalities often shifted to either gentle and kind or cruel and cold. In this world, Lisanna had died a few years ago, and Mira's personality had become gentle.
"Yes… what do you mean by 'this world'?" Mira asked, occasionally stealing glances at Mira and Lisanna.
"About that, we're actually from a parallel world, including the Lisanna who suddenly appeared here a few days ago." With Shun finding his conversation partner, everyone else scattered too.
Cana was chatting with her elegant, well-dressed Edolas self.
Juvia was with her much more confident Edolas version.
Mavis, Sorano, and Yukino were rather interested in the delinquent Lucy and bad-mouthed Levy.
——
After about half an hour of chatting around the guild, a loud voice cut through.
"What?! That guy is the guild master of Earth Land's Fairy Tail?" Edolas Lucy's shout immediately drew everyone's attention. Despite Shun repeatedly calling himself guild master, Lucy only realized that he was serious now.
"Huh? You got a problem with that?" Shun asked from where he stood with Edolas Mira, putting on a fake offended expression.
"Um… I mean, no matter how I look at it, you don't seem like the type who has the personality of a guild master. No offense though," Lucy said, scratching the back of her head awkwardly.
'Oh? So she's the type who thinks they can say anything as long as they add "no offense though" at the end.'
The Earth Land Fairy Tail members reacted in different ways.
Cana had a small smile she tried to hide, knowing she'd get in trouble later if Shun noticed her amusement.
Juvia and Sorano looked openly offended.
The others stayed neutral.
After a moment of silence, unexpectedly Mira spoke up.
"Why… huh? The simplest reason is because… he's the strongest," Mira said with a slightly smug look.
'Cute,' Shun thought quietly.
"Strongest? In the guild?" Lucy asked, still dubious.
Hearing her confusion, Mira continued.
"No, in the whole world. In all of Earth Land, he's the strongest!"
"…"
Mira's words silenced the entire guild.
'I noticed it before, but… Mira has definitely been influenced by that fanatic Elfman. Well, I'm not complaining,' Shun thought as he enjoyed the attention with a smug expression.
Mira added even more.
"To give you an easy comparison of his strength… we are closer to the second-strongest mage in Earth Land than the second-strongest mage is to Shun!"
"…"
'Just how highly do the Strauss siblings think of me? Is she talking about God Serena?' Even Shun felt a little flustered. To change the subject, he stood up and said,
"Well, enough about that. For now… to thank you guys for taking care of my sister-in-law… I mean little sister, I'm inviting everyone to a barbecue party."
At Shun's declaration, some blushed while others completely ignored certain parts of his words and got excited about the barbecue.
"Ohh!! Meat!"
"Barbecue!!"
"Wait, where's the meat you're talking about?"
"I hope you're not about to say 'I'll go hunt now!'"
The crowd calmed down and fired off a bunch of questions.
"Well, let's head outside for now," Shun said simply and walked out.
Once outside, he waited calmly for everyone to follow so he could show off.
"Arc of Creation. Barbecue set!" Shun chanted, mostly to help himself visualize better.
'I used to feel awkward chanting, but it's way more efficient with creation magic. Plus, now that I have so many spells, I need to name them so I don't forget,' Shun thought with a small sigh as he created a full set of tools: grill, fuel, spatula, meat thermometer, and more.
Seeing items appear out of nowhere, the Edolas Fairy Tail members were stunned. In their world, magic came only from items, and the only ones with magic in their bodies were the Exceeds, the flying cat race that Happy belonged to, some of whom had unique abilities like seeing the future.
"Things are being created out of nowhere?!!"
"How is that possible?!"
"Is this Earth Land magic?!"
Seeing everyone captivated by their guild master's magic, even Cana wore a smug look.
"As always, only his magic is beautiful," Cana muttered to herself.
Except for Cana, the others openly showed their admiration.
"Are you going to create the meat with magic too?" Edolas Mira asked, completely fascinated.
"No… I could, but I take my cooking seriously. I never eat food made from magic," Shun explained with a small smile.
"Eeh… but I think it's nice to have something you're passionate about. It's charming," Edolas Mira said with a warm smile.
Seeing their harmonious conversation, Earth Land Mira watched with a strange feeling rising inside her… She was being NTR-ed by her parallel self.
Shun pulled her out of her thoughts by taking out huge cuts of meat from his storage ring, courtesy of the now-silent system.
"What is that?"
"What kind of animal is that meat from?"
"They're from Sea Kings, and some are from dinosaurs on an island called 'Little Garden,'" Shun explained patiently.
He created tables and chairs for everyone to sit at and began cooking with practiced skill.
"This guy… is showing off more than usual. Is he planning to prey on the parallel versions of us too?" Cana asked with an incredulous look.
"What do you mean?" Yukino asked, the only one nearby.
"Ah, nothing," Cana said, waving her hands awkwardly.
Soon the delicious smell of grilling meat filled the forest.
"All right, you can start on the finished ones," Shun announced. The moment he gave the signal, everyone rushed to the Sea King meat.
"Delicious!"
"Ahh!"
While not quite as exaggerated as reactions in the Shokugeki no Soma world, their faces told the full story of how they felt.
"This is heavenly!!"
"I could die now…"
"Heh," Shun smirked at the results of his cooking.
"This is really delicious. How did you make the seasoning?" Edolas Mira asked.
"Hm, it's a secret, but I can teach you later if you promise not to spread it."
"Really?" Edolas Mira beamed with delight.
——
Soon night had fallen in the forest. The delicious aroma had attracted nearby beasts, but none dared approach once they sensed Shun's overwhelming presence. They knew that if they tried to steal food, they'd become the next dish.
"It got so late so fast, huh… Where will you guys sleep? If you don't mind the floor, you can use the guild hall," Edolas Lucy offered.
"Ah, thanks for the offer, but don't worry about us," Shun declined. He used his magic to effortlessly clear away stones and trees, creating a flat area.
"Arc of Creation…" Shun built a simple two-story house large enough for everyone.
"Well, let's go to sleep," Shun said to the Earth Land group.
"…"
Shun ignored the reactions, already tired of the attention, and headed to his room.
"Can you believe my words now?" Mira asked Lucy, arms behind her back and a teasing smile on her face.
"Well… after seeing all this, I do…" Lucy admitted honestly.
With Shun already gone, Cana suddenly gathered the girls.
"Hey, you girls. Let's have a girls' talk," Cana said mischievously.
"Eh…" Cana's suggestion caused a chain of blushes, but no one hated the idea. In fact, they were very interested.
Even Mavis, who had planned to follow Shun, got pulled along.
Only Bisca, who was already married declined the invitation.
——
Except for Shun, who sat in his room on a wooden chair, looking out the window at the moon while sipping tea.
Everyone else—the girls from Edolas Fairy Tail and the girls from Earth Land—gathered in a medium-sized bedroom with double beds. They sat on the beds and sofa. Surprisingly, the room already had snacks and a tea set ready beside the bed.
"Wow… this is really detailed. Are those made with magic too?" Lucy asked while munching on cookies.
"No, those are handmade by Shun. The tea was probably bought somewhere," Mavis explained.
"He's surprisingly thoughtful, huh…" Edolas Wendy, who was surprisingly an adult with a big chest, commented with a small blush.
"Un!" Hearing Shun praised made Mavis happy.
"So about the girls' talk…" Edolas Cana said, blushing.
"Ah, right. That's why we gathered," Earth Land Cana said, smiling while scratching the back of her head.
"So, who do you like?" Earth Land Cana asked bluntly.
"…"
'Would anyone be brave enough to answer in this atmosphere?' everyone thought, except one white-haired girl.
"Shun, of course!" Sorano said as if it were obvious.
"…"
Her confident answer made them doubt themselves.
'Were we the weird ones?!'
"Well, I can understand why…" Edolas Mira agreed with a small blush.
Seeing the room fall silent after only Sorano answered, Cana moved to the next question.
"So, have you guys done it?" Cana asked bluntly again, chuckling.
Her words turned the room steamy with blushes.
Seeing no one answer, Cana looked a bit surprised.
"Huh? You guys are still kids?" Cana felt a sense of superiority.
"What? Have you done it yourself?!" Sorano shot back, annoyed.
"Done what, big sister?" Yukino asked innocently from the side.
"Ah, Yukino, cover your ears," Sorano rushed over.
Once Yukino's ears were covered, Cana spoke with a small blush.
"Yes."
"With whom?" Sorano asked, her heart heavy but needing confirmation despite her suspicions.
"…Shun."
"What?!" Her answer caused instant chaos.
"Calm down, Juvia!!"
Juvia was having an existential crisis while her Edolas self tried to calm her.
Seeing some angry expressions directed at her, Cana quickly explained.
"We were both drunk! Also, he made the first move!"
"Liar! He wouldn't make a move on his own. You must have done something," Sorano said doubtfully. She had been with Shun for years and never received any advances.
Cana stayed silent but kept a smug look.
Which only annoyed Sorano more.
——
After about an hour of chit-chat that nearly turned into a fight, Sorano sent Yukino to another room to sleep.
Creaak—
She returned to the gossip room, this time ready to get serious.
"Cana… how did you do it?"
"Huh? You're asking me that?" Cana was a little surprised but didn't tease her. She knew her friend had been desperate lately, but Shun hadn't made any move.
Cana sighed, then spoke with a sense of superiority to her attentive audience.
"Hmm, it's quite simple actually. You just have to create a unique situation."
"Huh? Unique?" Sorano asked openly now that Yukino was gone.
"Yes, that bastard is just a pervert with very particular tastes. If you do something out of the ordinary, like wearing special clothes or doing role-play, he won't be able to resist," Cana said, passing on her teachings.
"…"
Sorano fell silent as she seriously considered what kind of unique situation she could create.
Seeing Sorano lost in thought, Cana turned to Mavis.
"But… I'm surprised, First Generation," Cana said.
"Huh? Surprised about what?" Mavis, who hadn't spoken much, asked.
"You being inexperienced. Since you've slept together with Shun for years, I thought you two must be doing it every night."
Cana's blunt words caught everyone off guard.
"W-What are you talking about? Our relationship is that of a mother and son!" Mavis explained, her face completely red.
"Heeh, I'd say that kind of setting would make that pervert even more excited," Cana laughed.
Murmur murmur—
Everyone went back to their conversations, but none could forget Cana's words.
They talked among themselves, yet each one wondered if it were them what unique situation they could create.
Soon Sorano suddenly spoke.
"I got it!"
"Huh? You got what?" Edolas Cana asked. She was the complete opposite of Earth Land Cana but still interested.
"The unique situation!" Sorano answered confidently, though she couldn't hide her blush.
"Huh? For real?" Cana asked.
"For real real," Sorano said. Under everyone's surprised eyes, she walked out and headed straight for Shun's room.
"Huh, this girl… let's follow her!" At Cana's words, everyone sneakily followed.
When they reached Shun's room, whether on purpose or not, Sorano had left a small gap in the door that let them watch.
The door was big enough, but there were too many people. Without a choice, Cana used her magic to create a card that observed the room. The card's vision streamed directly to a magic sphere powered by a lacrima, effectively creating a live stream.
Shun noticed but didn't bother hiding. Instead he focused on Sorano, who had suddenly entered.
"Sorano, did something happen?" Shun asked from his chair as Sorano panted lightly from nervousness.
"Yes. I want you to see something…" Sorano replied, blushing.
"All right. Go on," Shun said. He had sensed many people enter the house but wasn't insensitive enough to eavesdrop on their chat, so he was completely unaware of what had happened.
Hearing his approval, Sorano walked closer and made Shun sit in the middle of the room, moving him from the window side where he had been.
"What I'm about to show you is a courting dance that my grandmother taught me and Yukino. But it's been long forgotten since our great-grandmother's time," Sorano explained. Shun felt confused but interested.
"A courting dance?" Shun asked curiously.
"Yes. But don't get the wrong idea. I'm only doing this because I like you," Sorano said, blushing furiously.
'What is this? Reverse-tsundere?' Shun thought, amused.
Before Shun could reply, Sorano removed her slippers and began the dance.
Sorano moved with deliberate grace and subtle allure. Her steps were light and teasing as she swayed and circled around the still-seated Shun.
During the dance she cast coy glances and offered fleeting smiles toward him. She tilted her head invitingly while keeping a playful distance, advancing briefly before retreating in a classic push-pull rhythm that signaled interest without immediate surrender.
Her movements emphasized softness and femininity: gentle hip sways, flowing arm gestures, a slow twirl of her skirt, all designed to draw attention to her vitality and beauty.
The audience watching through the magic sphere and Shun himself were all enchanted by Sorano's dance.
"How is she so good at this?" the magic sphere crowd wondered. After all, they had been there when the whole conversation started.
In the room, Shun was completely captivated. While her moves were a bit awkward, they still clearly showed her intention and resolve.
Thump-! Thump-!
Shun placed a hand over his loudly beating heart.
'I might be a man far shallower than I expected,' he thought.
When the dance ended, Sorano panted heavily, more from shame and excitement at Shun's expression than from fatigue. She could tell from his face that her dance was working!
With the final move, Sorano improvised and ended up on Shun's lap.
Pant-! Pant-!
"How was it—" Before Sorano could finish her question, she was carried toward the bed.
Cana's simple invitation for a girls' talk had somehow turned this day into one that would be unforgettable for Sorano and the magic sphere crowd.
